We spent the weekend tent camping at Home Place Pastures. It was a great site, with great people, and even some great food at the farm store on site! We found a lot of eating options in the town of Como, also. It is also located within driving distance of Memphis. Will definitely have a return trip here

It was a very nice and quiet property to stay on! The lake was very pretty, especially at sunrise and sunset.

Home is really nice on the inside. It's cozy and comfortable. I was surprised to find that it has central air. A short walk away is a farm to table shop/restaurant which is a convenient place to get some good food.

Home place is an amazing place to camp, clean restrooms are a major plus! Not to mention the proximity to the Home Place Pastures farm store that serves amazing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Just check their hours. They can change for special events.

Grabbed 2 ribeyes from the store (across the street from the entrance) and had a private evening among the farm animals (pigs in my area behind the fence). Very quiet. Have 23 foot class c no issues with access.

Easy access to the Hwy 55 and set in the native woods. Cute house and host was kind to help cool the house in advance. We enjoyed staying all together as family for really valuable time visiting. Very much appreciated the delight of "special foods" left for the cancellation of dinner at the Restaurant (because of equipment failure) We feel like it was well represented by pictures and family was so pleased! Thank you for providing the Cypress Cottage to weary travelers!

I got there at dusk and I thought the map was bad and I couldn't find my campsite. No everything was so overgrown there was no campsite. Also no Electric except at the store. The girl on the phone tried hard to help but wasn't used to giving directions at least not in the evening. I finally parked in the store's parking lot. It was miserable but I did have a long enough extension for some electric. I car and tent camp but there was no place for a tent at the so-called camping area, that didn't have over foot high grass. There was a pind I was afraid of driving into since there was no demarcation. I will never go here again and unless you are into totally roughing it I don't recommend it. I left early in the morning since I couldn't sleep anywhere but my hot car. I have reviewed other hipcamp places and they were awesome. And I waited this long cause I hate being negative toward anyone but this was a must. I don't want anyone else to be taken by surprise.

The platforms to keep the tents high and dry are awesome, and my dog enjoyed running around the oak grove and splashing in the lake. The sunset was beautiful as well!

We had a wonderful time at Home Place for my toddler’s first campout! It’s an absolutely beautiful farm and land. Be sure to go on Fridays and go to Steak Night in the farm store. I was surprising my husband with steak night for his birthday and they took such good care of us. Totally recommend!

We had a nice stay at the cottage. The place was clean and there was plenty of beds and linen for all. It was very homey. We had some food at the restaurant and that was delicious as well. Melissa was a responsive and accommodating host!

We didn’t spend the night here. The place was not as advertised, it’s right next to a huge industrial farm. The camping spot was overgrown and the ground was impossible to get to, we turned around and left.

The campsite was absolutely beautiful, a charmed setting and would be fantastic for a group. On the downside- We were disappointed when we learned that the toilet facility was almost a 1/2 mile away.

Beautiful and quiet place for our rv and plenty of space for our dogs. A lot of area to walk and explore. It was great having the general store and meat market right there next to camp.

Beautiful and private campsite. Large oak trees, ambient lighting, easily accessible power and water. Would definitely stay again. Our only disappointment was that the farm store wasn’t open, so we didn’t get to try their food.

My family and I loved Home Place Pastures. The site is set up very nice and has a beautiful look. We took the kayak out on the pond & did a little fishing too. The fire pit is community with grills & smokers available also. The store nearby has great food and a few supplies like ice & restrooms. Plus the food is incredible. Great time!

Glamp at Home Place Pastures
The set up for these clamping yurts is idyllic. Ours was on a platform just over the water. The yurt was very specious, enough for three adults and an infant in her bassinet! While it was hot that weekend (95 degrees!) we stayed generally cool since it was well shaded and on the lake edge. There is electricity provided by an extension cord which was convenient. The farm is incredible and I cannot recommend visiting here enough.

The camp spot was beautiful and peaceful-a wonderful view in the morning, after getting in late with no lights. We had no idea where we were until we woke up to this very lovey spot! A really nice stopover on our cross country adventure.
