A beautiful place right on the water. The neighbors were very friendly and helped us out when we first got there. John was a great guy. We talked to him for at least 30 minutes. Everything worked out fine.

Trout Lake was fantastic
19 ft travel trailer
Trout lake is a great spot to camp, some homes on the lake but most is undeveloped and we experienced very little boat traffic. Trout lake is connected to a beautiful chain of lakes you can explore if have a motorized boat. If you have a motor boat go to Brick Lake it is like a picture of old Florida. If you have a canoe or paddle board you will probably stay on Trout lake. John was a responsive and helpful host but not bothersome. There was a 30 amp service but no water hook up. But the lake is fresh so you can take an Indian bath in your bathing suit.

Unfortunately had an unforseen accident happen the day of the trip. John was super understanding and even refunded the cost. We are excited to book with him again!

Nature camp in a quiet neighborhood

Great host. Grass lot with shade! Close to my family. Beautiful Osceola County Lake Lizzie Nature Preserve north entrance within walking distance. Download map info at the entrance kiosk. Fabulous sunsets over Lake Lizzie. Bring your camp chairs!

John's hipcamp site is perfect place to enjoy views of trout lake. There is a park near by to hike and bike.

Loved our stay

We really enjoyed the land! John was a very attentive host! We were able to have a safe place to relax for a few days. Little note for future stays- there are unleashed dogs at the neighbors (there isn’t a fence to separate). They let my husband pet them, but just a note if you have a reactive pet.

Gorgeous waterfront!
10 ft pop-up camper
This Property is absolutely beautiful! Full of waterfront wildlife and an amazing view of the sunset! We will be back!!
