Overall we had a good experience but I expected the farm to be more happening based on the description. It might have been the dates of our visit but there was little to see on the farm.

We were the only ones at the camp so it was very private. It was easy to access. The miniature horses and pony were adorable. We loved the chickens and listening to the roosters too. We won't be back but enjoyed our stay. It was too close to the road but it was close to downtown Mystic which is what we wanted. The pictures on Hipcamp did not accurately describe the campground. We were hoping for gardens and there weren't any that we saw. There was not a working garden but the horse pasture was well maintained.

Great experience for weekend away
Great experience camping here! The sites come with tables and chairs and a big firepit. There were also plenty of trees to hang up tarps, which came in handy for one of our camping days with lots of rain. The horses are beautiful and added such a lovely energy to the site. Also very close to downtown Mystic and many other attractions. Note that the sites are quite close together, so there isn't much privacy or noise protection - aside from this, highly recommend.

Site 3 - Organic Green Farm Retreat
This was a lovely site, with close proximity to the paddock and chicken coop (so be prepared for a rooster alarm clock around 4:45am). The paddock's proximity means that an electrified fence runs the length of this area, so keep an eye on any kid campers. The provided firepits and picnic tables did the job, and the bathroom was kept very clean. Great proximity to mystic, the Boro, and Westerly.

We had a great 2 night stay on Stefana’s land! The space was level and well-cared for, and we enjoyed getting visits from the horses. Stefana was a gracious and friendly host. We got a tour of the wellness center too!

Site 1 - Organic Green Farm Retreat
Overall, it was an okay time camping. When I messaged the host to ask about wellness amenities, I was told she would explain everything upon our arrival. She didn’t even greet us let alone explain all the site had to offer. There was no one on site to answer any questions, which is why I messaged before arrival in the first place. Be sure to get all the info before you go.

Communication with Hipcamp needs to improve. My experience was beyond disappointment and I have never left a negative review for anyone before. This is how upsetting my experience was.

We had such a great time at the Hemp Farm. It was so relaxing and quite lovely to be so close to their mini horses and donkey. We enjoyed watching them frolic in their field. The location itself is close to many amenities (beaches, stores, etc) so that made it nice if looking to get out during the day. We would highly recommend it.

Stefana met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the hemp (and veg) farm - really interesting. She guided us to a pretty and private spot to camp and brought over a table, chairs and wood. We were shown where to fill water containers. The porta potty was super clean. In the morning the beautiful horses came over to say hello - bucolic!

Somehow there was confusion between our host not being alerted by hipcamp to our arrival— so that was a little unnerving. Thankfully they had space for us. The campsites are nearby the horses and donkey, which made it fun for the kids. There is an electric fence around them so we had to watch them carefully.
We camped with friends and we were the only ones on the property, which we were happy to have. It’s a bit cramped if all of the sites were taken.
There’s a small trail off the site and it’s easy to collect downed branches for firewood. We weren’t able to find a water source and ended up going out to get some. The location is nearby a lot of amenities so it’s easy to get anything you forget.
It is off a busy road, which occasionally had road noise from horns or motorcycles.
We loved the chickens and the rooster will make sure everyone is up and at ‘em.

Beautiful place with great proximity (20+ min drives) to the CT and RI shorelines. Loved the ponies and walks through the property to the little pond and nature reserve. Didn’t get to check out the wellness services or take a tour of the farm this time but hoping we’ll be back again soon!

What a delightful place this was. Mark met us at the gate and lead us to the camping area near the paddock were the horses were. I think there were 3 ponies and one donkey and all adorable. We put up camp on the other side of the paddock. All of the grounds were immaculate. We didn't use any of the facilities so can't comment on those. Since we were there alone it was 2 days of peace and quiet. Our site was perfectly shaded. I would definitely go back if I didn't live across the country from here. I also love Stefana's wellness mission. Recommend for sure!

We had a wonderful stay on Stefana’s land. The particular Monday we came on was in-between the weekend and 4th of July Tuesday, so there was some mix ups/confusion for appointments. I called the Wednesday of the week before, when the office booked my appointment with the doctor, (wasn’t able to get the massage for my wife) but were apparently unaware that the Dr. wasn’t working that day. The front desk receptionist was unapologetic but Stefana herself couldn’t have been a nicer and more caring person. She had to come in on her day off and treat us, but it was definitely a pleasure getting to know her and her facility. Unfortunately the farm store wasn’t open Mondays or Tuesdays but the farm itself was peaceful and the gentleman who showed us to our campsite was very friendly. We had the whole place to ourself, just us and the mini horses which was amazing. I recommend this place and also the wellness center across the st.

It was a great stay! My buddy and I went to see a concert and camped here for the weekend. Super peaceful, quiet and friendly spot. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot to stay.

Tent camping at Organic Hemp Farm was a welcoming and quaint experience! It was much quieter than traditional camp sites, although fairly close to a main road so some vehicle noise. We camped at site 8 closest to the lovely horses. There was a clean porta-potty easily accessible (no showers) and no food available but a grocery store close by. We made sure to have plenty provisions to be outside all weekend. FYI for campers steer clear of the electric fences for farm animals but take time to walk the grounds to enjoy the farm and check out the hiking trails. Overall we had a great time!

Beautiful place with hiking, fishing and nicely maintained. Stef was a great host and shop owner Sherri was very nice. The organization also helps animals. Veterans and Emergency Services members. Will definitely visit again. Very easy to get to as well…

Organic Hemp Farm Retreat
Very peaceful and private location! Stefana was an excellent host, welcoming and extremely helpful. There were trails on the back part of her property and there were a number of other hiking trails nearby. This was an excellent stopping point for visiting Mystic and other towns close by. I would definitely stay here again!

We were very pleased with this site. It was very quiet and very private. The only amenity, besides picnic table, was a porta-potty, which was the cleanest, most pleasant one we have ever had to use. We would gladly recommend this site and happily stay here again

Stefana was very kind and helped us to navigate to her farm over the phone. The spot itself is great with a lot of privacy and no mosquitos :-) We very much enjoyed our stay and would go here again. Thank you Stefana!

Campsites clean and sizeable. The horses were awesome! It was really cool to be able to interact with all the horses, they were super friendly and gentle. The host Steph was so nice and gave up a tour and lots of information about the property. We can't wait to go back here again! Highly recommend it!

This was our second time staying here. There is privacy and beautiful woods with well cleared trails leading to the camp sites. Clear enough to walk barefoot carefully. There is a port a potty available close to the trail head. Picnic tables and it’s tucked well behind the property so you have the feeling of being secluded, but not far from the main house and gate if you need to run out and grab things you may need. Mini horses play at dusk or just hang out during the day. There are chickens there ready to provide breakfast as well! We think it’s perfect for us and the host is amazing! Very friendly and easy to chat with! You can find her tending to her garden usually if you have any questions! We will be returning customers for as long as we can!

First of all, I've never been in a better Port-A-John anywhere.....now, that is not why you stay somewhere, but it sure helps.
It was hard to find since Organic Hemp Farms is not a sign....it should be 'Better Communities' I think was out front.
Once we found it, it was great, you can go deep in the woods or stay near the edge like us and it is all good.
This is a good quite hip camp.....owner was super-duper nice

We had a wonderful time and Stefana was great. She took the time to let us meet the rescued mini horses, show us the hemp field and hoop house vegetables. Her farm is doing great things. I would definitely recommend a stay here.
