I had two grandkids along and they loved seeing the horses, chickens and the dog Marley. Victoria and Mary were so friendly and helpful. We had a great time in spite of the damp and cold weather. We explored local parks.

We spent the night there during a snow storm and Mary and Victor were so kind and helpful with everything! Super accommodating, we had a great stay there and would definitely stay here again !

Hmmm
We’re new to hip camping and found it surprising to have such a different experience at the same price point during our extended road trip. We were thrilled to have a hot shower available in late November although it felt weird traipsing through the owners back yard to get to it, with a window to the house right in the shower (yes it was covered from the inside). Hooks for a towel or shower bag would have been nice. The outhouse was in the opposite direction and leaked out the front a bit. It was cold and rainy during our stay so overall not the best day for camping. Hosts were very friendly.

Farm camping
Mary and Victor's farm was very enjoyable. We had lots of room and privacy. Victor was very helpful and an excellent host. We unfortunately did not get to meet Mary, however she handled our reservation well and answered all our questions ahead of our visit. We would recommend staying there.

Great stay!
This spot was everything we’d hoped it would be! Mary and her husband are laid-back hosts but super friendly. The trailer has been renovated and insulated and was plenty of space for the three of us… Would be plenty for four.. The furnishings are rustic and charming… The 2 beds were actually pretty comfortable and the location of the trailer at the back of the property is private and yet not super remote. Mary and her husband were so kind to our little boy… Letting him in to pet and play with the chickens, the dog Marley and the horses Girasol and Lady Gaga! We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful people and wonderful property! They don't get much better than Mary (Dr. K!) and Victor, they're just salt of the earth people. Their 2 horses, Girasol and Lady Gaga are beautiful and their dog Marley (The Fugitive) is a sweetheart. Property was very peaceful. Highly recommend!!!

My husband and I booked a very last minute trip. We arrived late and passed the drive. As we were reserving, Victor was flagged us down. Very unexpected but super helpful! We were able to pay him for the wood we'd requested and got setup very easily. I had some work to do the next day, but was able to hotspot with no issues. It was quiet and relaxing! The second night there was an RV parked there and another couple. Thankfully, everyone was respectful and not very loud. We drove around the countryside and visited Dinosaur State Park. All in all, a great weekend!

Victor and Mary are down to earth and very a ccomodating people. The sites are good size, sunny and private with woods on 3 sides. Victor is allways around working on the small farm and allways there if you need anything. One of my favorite Host's!

Petite Cozy Cabin
First of all, Mary and Victor are very welcoming. As well as the two beautiful horses they have on the farm. Mary introduced herself right away. And made sure we had everything we needed when we got there. Victor came by shortly and explained the lay of the land to us. The property has a bit of everything you need. Freshwater, and outdoor shower and an outhouse.
I had my 10-year-old son with me and he was immediately in love with both horses. And they were so sweet to him the whole time. We really enjoyed them so much. The cabin was cute, cozy and surprisingly warm on some chilly fall nights. It was very quiet the whole weekend, even though there were other campers on the property. This was our first experience with Hipcamp. We do go camping, all around Connecticut all spring, summer and fall. This was by far one of our best weekend trips this year. We are looking forward to coming back in the spring. Thank you to Mary, Victor, Sunflower, and Cha-cha for an excellent stay ❤️

Lovely site, but no privacy.
The host was very nice and gave us some extra wood, but it would be nice if some how the sites could have some privacy. It is an open field in shouting distance to the other campsites. Perhaps some landscaping could break up the property a bit.

Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I booked this last minute for a midweek adventure to explore the Mystic Seaport area. Mary and Victor were fabulous hosts! Since it was midweek we had the place you ourselves. Site 2 was perfect for my Tentrax tent camper and my daughters tent. Lots of room, quite and private. The firewood bundles are double what you'd buy elsewhere and it's quality hardwood and needs very little kindling to get going. I will most definitely be beck and highly recommend!!!

We loved staying here! We stayed for one night on a road trip from Maine to South Carolina, so didn’t stay long, but Mary was super hospitable and we loved meeting their horses!

Close to dispersed :)
It was a gorgeous place to camp! The first night was busy with people camping for Labor Day Weekend - the space was well equipped with safe fire pits, wood for sale, and two outhouses stocked with TP and wipes. The second night was just us so we were able to use more space and stargaze in the field.

Amazing place and people.
The cabin was great. It has two beds, which ai didn’t know. It was definitely cozy and the farm, animals and people in it were the best possible company!

2nd time still got the charm
2nd time around was just as wonderful. The setting is so soothing, but the hosts' welcome is the best. We were welcomed with with open arms again. Loved seeing the baby chicks.

Second time staying here
Nice location, just enough cleared area between the woods to feel comfortable. Liked having horses and chickens there to watch. Their dog Marley is the best, he is just adorable and likes to greet you every time you come in. Not a big fan of outhouses but the outdoor shower was nice. Mary was very pleasant and helpful, good communication.

We absolutely loved our time at Mary and Victors farm. It was just what we needed for a quiet weekend away. The cabin was perfect and close to the toilet. we loved getting to know the horses and the dogs. the water on site was clean and delicious. although you are in their backyard the space feels private. the outdoor shower is on the side of the house so we had to ask how to get to it but there was hot water and lots of privacy. i could not recommend this place more!

It was our 1st trip with tent and I loved it. The place is very clean and has everything as described. Mary was so kind and on the day of departure offered to stay as long as we want as no one was arriving. Someday we come again!

Great camp sight, or should I say, amazing get away! Had family weekend with 6 little ones. Lots of area to run and play and felt secluded.
The trailer was darling and came in handy when it rained! We set up a tent and used the trailer and built in cooking/grilling for a nice little family retreat. The horses, chickens and friendly dog topped it off. Thank you Mary and Victor for being such great hosts and making us feel so welcomed.
