There’s a 2 burner induction stove in the Yurt and a five burner propane grill outside for your grilling delight! Performing Arts Center, Bakery, Farmer's Market, Restaurants and Shops on Main Street just a bike ride away. Gazebo bandshell host free summer concerts. RELAXED beach vibe! There's a Dakota Fire Pit, Compost toilet and hot water outdoor shower, propane gas BBQ Grill. The Yurt is 20' in diameter (314 sq. ft.), 11 ft. high to the dome, with 1 Queen and 1 Full size sofa beds comfortably sleeping 4. The Yurt Sanctuary is 20' in diameter (314 sq. ft.) , 11 ft. high to the Dome with view of our vegetable and pollinator gardens, sleeps four (4) comfortably with Queen and Full size sofa beds. No need to pitch a tent. The Yurt is a solid waterproof structure on an acrea off a private road. An off-grid experience for the Eco-Traveler, but you still get hi speed WiFi. Solar powered battery for electricity, compost toilet, wood burning stove, outdoor hot water shower, Dakota Fire Pit, BBQ Grill, and a spacious private lawn and hammock! We have free range chickens, and you'll see them roaming around. Just 3 miles to the pristine beaches of The Hamptons. The Hamptons -- on the bucket list for surfing, fishing, sailing and much more. After a day at the beach, land back at the Yurt Sanctuary and enjoy star gazing or chillaxing by the Dakota Fire Pit. 10X10 pitched tent on platform on private grounds. There's a water spigot in front of the tent. Bring your own camp toilet - take waste with you. There's a hot water shower, parking for one vehicle (No RVs, No Trailers, No Animals allowed). The site is 3 miles to the beach and a bike ride into town. We have free range chickens, so you'll see them around and we run a community organic vegetable garden. and host WWoofers in the Yurt, so you might come across other guest on the property.

Yurt 3 miles to Beach

The yurt was by far one of the best part of my four year old and i’s summer. We arrived late at night, Nancy sent directions to make sure we were able to find it easily and safely. Despite it being late, she had the bed made up for us and walked over to show us the outside bathroom, sink and shower. Being without TV or wifi was exactly what my kid and i both needed and really let us unplug a bit. The hens, beautiful garden and night time cricket orchestra were just beautiful. Nancy came over to help us build a fire in her (self made) fire pit on our last night, came back with a fresh bowl of strawberries for us before bed, then fed the fire for me while i put my kid to bed. On our way home the last morning, Nancy picked three black eyed susan flowers to give to my kid, brought him to the chicken coop and showed him how to collect eggs the hens had laid. We hope to return to Nancy, the hens, and her beautiful yurt this fall any many times in the future. Thank you for helping us unplug, Nancy

Tent in Westhampton

I love the tent camping on Nancy's property. she was very welcoming from the start, from consistent communication from the time I booked, to the time I arrived. The property is very peaceful and serene, with the most beautiful chickens that are in the hen. she even help me get a phone mattress which I forgot, so I can sleep comfortably on the cot. what really helped, was use of the charcoal grill, and the fire pit, as well as the picnic benches and chairs. I will definitely recommend this to anybody who wants to have a nice peaceful night out camping in the Hamptons, and I look forward to my next stay there

Perfect City Escape-Nature & Beach

Yurt 3 miles to Beach

The Yurt Sanctuary was everything and more we had hoped for! A few friends and I were looking for an easy trip outside the city, wanting to be both in nature and near the beach. Nancy's yurt was absolutely perfect. It was easy to get to and find with lots of little things that made it so special - a fire, hammock, free range chickens, electricity and comfortable beds, outdoor shower, and even the outdoor bathroom was pleasant! Nancy was extremely welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. It's also really well located - we rode bikes to the beach one day, could walk or drive into town (30 min nice walk or 5-10 min drive). Will definitely be back!

This place was awesome ! So clean and nice and private . The outdoor shower is fantastic and there are free range chickens walking around in the morning. The fire pit was very nice at night and they even provided wood for us . Nancy also greeted us with some drinks in the fridge and a few sweet treats. Fresh blueberries in the morning were a nice treat! Very good stay and we will be returning again!
