Absolutely beautiful property with perfect accommodations for a tent. There was a fire pit and firewood, and a spot to park our hatchback, so no 4x4 was needed. 100% recommend to anyone in the area or anyone trying to be near Durango or Mesa Verde National Park.

This was a great location and find for our late arrival into Durango, which is only 25-30 minutes away. Erin was very welcoming and guided us to our camp site which was perfect for our truck camper. The space was setup with a fire pit, picnic table and trash bin. The area was clean and spacious for tent, car of RV setup. Thank you Erin for your hospitality!

Tranquility indeed! Sweet little spot not far off the blacktop. Working ranch. Turkey, deer and a small docile herd of cows. Erin greeted us with a gift from her garden and the site was clean with ample firewood. You will hear some distant road noise but we didn’t see another soul. In beautiful, crowded Southern Colorado it was a great sanctuary. Nice firepit, picnic table, shovel, trash can, electric, non-potable water.

Erin’s land was so quiet and peaceful for the night that we stayed there. My pups loved being able to run around and wore themselves out and were ready for bed as soon as the sun set.

We had an incredible Labor Day weekend getaway at Erin's beautiful hipcamp! The weather was wonderful, the spot was peaceful and full of wildlife. We got to see Turkey, bats, birds we had never seen before and Turkey vultures! Thanks for the wonderful weekend! We will be back someday for sure!

We’re so grateful for Erin’s hospitality! We originally booked site 2, but we were too late to see the river because it had dried up by the time we were headed out, but Erin graciously informed us and offered to move us to another site. Site 1 was very private and we loved exploring her land and enjoying beautiful views of the stars!

We had an amazing time at Erin’s. Such a beautiful, private location. We saw eagles and wild turkeys, and were able to let the dog roam freely. The river was a short walk, and was clear and cool. Just perfect on a hot day! We had access to electric for our camper and water. Erin was so welcoming, and made sure our stay was perfect. We are already planning our next visit!

Had a great time tent camping at this site. The picnic table, fire pit, grill and trash bin were super convenient. We enjoyed wading in the creek and sleeping to the sound of rushing water nearby. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming and the site felt very private and secluded after our brief check-in. We ran into wild turkey and deer, too! We’ll be back down this way soon and if the weather cooperates, we plan on returning to this campsite!

Wonderful place to camp when visiting the Durango area. We loved hearing the river and enjoying campfires at night. This is a very peaceful and relaxing place to spend a few days!

I've lived in Colorado for 9 years and this place might just have usurped my #1 spot for favorite campsite in the state. Erin welcomed us warmly and then we didn't see her the rest of our stay (perfect host IMO). Site 2 was incredibly private, serene, peaceful, an oasis! We camped in our ford transit van with our 1 year old and she had a blast exploring the vast size of the site, watching the swallows and other wildlife, and of course splashing in the river. It's about a 25-30 minute drive into downtown Durango (look out for deer and elk on the way). We're already planning a time we can come back to this incredible site :)

This campsite is a beautiful little spot, tucked between the trees with a stream flowing through the middle. Perfect for getting a camping experience that feels like camping, not “glamping,” but being convenient nonetheless. Our host Erin was very kind and made check in and checkout simple. Me and my friend had a great time here and would definitely come back if we wanted to camp near Durango and Mesa Verde

This site was absolutely fantastic for our family. It was my husband and I, and our 4 children with 2 dogs.
The site was easy to find, easy to get to, very secluded, and had everything we needed. It’s a short distance to the river, so it was easy access for our children to play in the river, and we were able to listen to the river flowing as we slept! We were able to have dogs off leash, we had access to electric, non-pottable water, grill, fire pit (tons of firewood available around site), picnic table, and trash can. Such a great site to camp!
Also, the owner is very kind, and was helpful during our stay! Overall, we had an amazing time here and would definitely recommend it.

The property is beautiful! Dozens of cows were taking shelter from the rain when we arrived and the kids loved it. Would come back again for sure. Having the creek there was great! The natural white noise will surely be missed! Lots of wood to keep the fire going all night long. It was super peaceful and private.
As an added bonus, Erin was gracious enough to jump our car when it died on us. Thank you!
