Twisselman's - Entire Pond Property
Adriane and Ethan are fantastic hosts! We rented the entire ranch along with the Cactus House and couldn’t have chosen a better place for our group of 14. The pond was incredible, with a few of us enjoying the boats. Adriane and Ethan were also very attentive to any requests, whether it was for ice or anything else. The bathrooms and showers were spotless, and the views were breathtaking. We had a great time cooking in the kitchen and grilling at the Cactus House with the BBQ equipment. We enjoyed some of the best dinners during our stay. And don’t forget the nighttime fire pits where we roasted marshmallows—it was such an unforgettable experience!

Peaceful setting, comfy lodging, nice bathrooms, close enough to Paso Robles, Carrizo National Monument & beach. Very minimal kitchen (no fridge access, plates, utensils). Cooking was a bit tricky.

We had a great time camping. This place had amazing amenities. The newly updated bathroom and shower facilities were some of the nicest we have ever seen while camping. The pond was really nice and the fishing was great. We will definitely be back.

The pond was lovely and we enjoyed the sounds of the birds during the day and frogs at night. The “kitchen” tent was well set up for grilling and washing dishes. Toilets and showers were clean (or so my friend said). Would be a great place for a group.

Great stay. Lovely pond and my young children had the best time with the boats. Very clean bathrooms and hot showers. Lovely bird life - red winged blackbirds, Canada geese nesting, coots, great horned owls. Loved the communal kitchen. Lots of space and quite remote.

Absolutely stunning views in this remote, welcoming ranch! The hosts were absolutely wonderful- offered us tips on weather & how to use their BBQs/built in kitchen area. We LOVED canoeing around the pond, playing horseshoe, and lounging. The fire pit was worth every penny for evening smores!

This location was amazing! We were hoping for a campground to help us see the stars, and this site did not disappoint. Mind-blowing beautiful view of the stars. Nice amenities like hot showers and clean bathrooms. Amazing fire pit was worth the additional fee. We highly recommend and will be coming back!

I loved this camp site and hope to have a large family event there. The area is remote, clean, and extremely well equipped. They have a large cooking area with every mode of cooking, eg. gas burners, stoves, grills large and small, plus bbqs using wood or gas.
There are large bathrooms and 2 large showers.
The camp sites are spaced out very well and the glamping tents are wonder.
The pond is huge and beautiful. Each nite a large flock of geese came in, what a delight!
At night the stars were amazing. Each night we heard coyotes howling from afar.
We will be returning, as this spot is an oasis away from home. Beautiful space for solitude!

This is a cozy campsite off the beaten path. The pond attracts lots of waterfowl who help keep the site clean (while also perhaps keeping you up throughout the night). Bathrooms were very clean and the stars were exquisite.

I love this quiet and peaceful camping site.
They have clean kitchen, sink, and propane gas bbq.
ONE negative thing (probably just me) is there are a lot of small bug like flies, you should bring your own fly swatter.
Everything except flies was so nice and owner was so nice person.
Her response was so quick.
I'll be coming back with my own fly swatter!

What an amazing place! My wife and I had a great time, the place is truly a paradise!
Their island is so much fun, and they have 24*7 pedal boating and kayaking available! We enjoyed boating during sunset and sunrise time with musical bird chirping and colorful sky, love it! Stargazing was surreal from this place!!

Absolutely amazing site. Everything is as described and the owners are very responsive. They go out of their way to ensure guests are satisfied and have what they need. We were a family of 4 and our kids had a great time tent camping and checking out the lake. This would be a great place for large group events. I’d definitely stay here again.

What a lovely campsite—this was my first Hipcamp stay and I look forward to staying again! The hosts are very responsive and accommodating. I had campsite 2 up on the hill; if you pitch camp there, be sure to use metal stakes as it can be quite windy in addition to the ground being literally rock solid in some places. Thank you!!

The area was great, theres was plenty of space. The weather was very hot when we arrived, but there was luckily plenty of shade on our site. Since we were a small group, and the only people camping this weekend, it felt like alot of the amenities were wasted on us, but id be interested in gping back with a larger group!

Beautiful and peaceful property. Everything was clean and the bed was cozy. I had a beautiful time with adult daughters and think this would be a great place to host a family reunion or a wedding! Both sunset & sunrise were gorgeous!!

I enjoyed staying here. It was quiet and beautiful place. I loved watching the birds and other wild life. Loved the plunge pool. Nice clean bathrooms and hot showers. The communal kitchen was nice. Only problem is the ground is hard for tent camping. It took us awhile to find soft ground stake our tent. We heard Elk in the morning.
