Small camper and dog
Great boon-docking site for a small camping trailer despite the heavy rains. Convenient access to toilets and showers (though warm, not hot). Super nice and flexible reg. arrival time which was much appreciated. My dog and I enjoyed exploring the Pismo Beach area. Thanks!

Convenient location, Safe Camping
The camp is located on a hill overlooking Arroyo Grande Village. It’s super quiet and feels very safe. I was completely comfortable tent camping here. The only thing I would comment on is that the shower water never got hot. A cold shower is still better than no shower. Overall happy camper will stay again.

Ikeda Lodge
We held a birthday party at the lodge and it was the perfect spot for friends and family to come in and out during the day. Being so close to the AG village, but also feeling like you were secluded and away from the world is Camp AG’s greatest charm. I would recommend this lodge to anyone who needs a getaway, but can also quickly access basic essentials!

Cabin was clean and heater was provided. The bathrooms and showers were immaculate. The whole process was so simple, and communication was punctual and effective. One thing that I apologize for is using quarters to purchase firewood, and putting it in to the slot on the office door (I'm sorry. I though it was a box). Great place to camp. Quiet, close to everything, and easy. 10/10.

I spent the maiden voyage of my new mini trailer boondocking at Camp AG. Being mid February, there very few guests staying so I enjoyed the quiet solitude. The host are very accommodating and thoughtful. Every attention was given in detail.

Good boondocking campsite close to pismo beach. Has showers and bathrooms that are relatively clean. Short walk from the little village of arroyo grande. We stayed here in our van and did not have any problems getting in or out.

Very nice and a cutie cabin #4 is the best that very close to the restroom The only thing is I can’t find the shower during my stay on 1/19 Thursday . The reservation mentioned firewood provided but did not seems there. Good thing we brought firewood nearby before we arrived We are the only one on the whole site that night Clean and quiet Would be a good place for returning Sue

Economical camping with comforts
I have tent camped in Arroyo Grande 3 times now and each time the hosts were very gracious and responded to texts immediately. On my most recent visit, I had car trouble and was not able to arrive on my intended evening. I reached out to the host and was able to reschedule my arrival for the following evening. (it was the rainy season so I understand that this may not have been possible during a busier and drier month). I appreciate the accessible bathrooms with warm showers and that there is an extra sense of security with a gate requiring a pass code in the evening. The property is just a couple of minutes away from town if you want to go out for a meal, but far enough that you still feel like you are camping. There is even a swimming pool- like KOA camping but at a fraction of the cost. Thank you to the Arroyo Grande hosts for your exceptional service!

We had a wonderful stay at Ikeda Lodge and Camp Arroyo Grande in general! The location is perfect (secluded feeling, yet super close to downtown and nearby attractions). Our family enjoyed quality time cooking, playing & hiking together. This place is a real gem and we will definitely be back!

Setting in the middle of a great city with many stores, restaurants and green areas. Lake Lopez is nearby and very nice and not crowded. Pismo beach and Grover beach are close enough but not walking distance -a plus for me.

Gillespie Lodge
Loved the camp and cabin. Very basic, but an awesome spot for a pretty easy going group who’s looking to stay on a budget. We had a 10 person and 4 dog family reunion and it worked out perfectly! The Gillespie lodge had a great open living room to play board games in, a decent kitchen for cooking meals, 2 bathrooms/showers in the cabin, and the campground had some great trails for the dogs. Plus it was a reasonable price compared to other places we found on AirBnB. Would definitely stay here again!

My pup & I were on a multi-stop Christmas weekend camping road trip & I picked this spot as our final stop to have a more comfy & easy last night of the trip (SO glad I did!). Everything was perfect...great amenities, the cabin had everything we needed for a great night sleep, and there was a fire pit right outside that I used for one last campfire under the stars. The property is super cute...very close (a short walk) to downtown Arroyo Grande, multiple little hiking trails, including a short trail uphill on the freeway side of the property that ended up being the perfect spot to catch the sunset. Just a short drive away from Pismo and Avila. I've already recommended it to friends for their family camping/glamping vacations (there's a pool, a playground, tons of outdoor games & a pool table inside a community hall), and definitely plan on going back myself.

The property has spectacular view from the perimeter trail. A trail also leads down Arroyo Grande Village. The location is convenient for visiting Pismo State Park, Oceano Dunes and the Monarch Butterfly Grove as well as the farmers market, fish market and laundromat.

Gem of a location!
Had a great stay at Camp AG! What a gem of a location within walking distance to downtown AG at affordable prices. We appreciate a safe place we can stay with our children and pups when visiting family in the area. Camp AG is our go to haven when travelling to the Central Coast.

Cute Quiet Clean w nearby bathroom
I love the little cabin in Camp Arroyo Grande, next door to the charming town. Close to Psimo, Oceano. It was basic, probably better for a family or young friends than for a single woman and her 2 small dogs. It had 4 beds a small table & creepy chair. The heater worked well. There was a little firepit & picnic table, parking right next to the cabin. There was a nice pool & playground onsite. It was quaint and quiet. Miles better than a cheap hotel! I had a little trouble driving on the gravel roads that lead to my cabin. I have a Honda CRV. They should probably maintain the roads a bit better, especially with winter rains on the way. Big clean bathroom/ showers were 1 cabin away. *Gorgeous sunrise views from the front porch💙

We stayed during the week and pretty much had the camp ground to ourselves. The only people we saw were staff. This was a stop on our drive from Southern CA to the Bay Area. Perfect route to avoid the 5 FWY and take 101 instead. Check in was super simple and the communication with host was quick and easy. The bed was clean and comfortable. You will need to bring your own bedding. But that was mentioned In the listing. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. The water in showers got nice and hot. The campground was simple but had everything we needed. We played a few rounds of pool in the community room. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

This is the 4th cabin we've stayed in at Camp Arroyo Grande and our favorite so far! Tons of living space for family get togethers and a kitchen with plenty of counter space for meals! The back deck is perfect on sunny afternoons and the fire pit is so convenient to have right next door! Camp hosts are so kind and always super responsive! We can't wait to go back!

Clean, Cozy, Family Fun!
We have stayed at Camp Arroyo Grande, at Brigham Cabin, several times. It’s always clean and comfortable. There is so much to do and explore at the camp! The bigger cabin is perfect for larger families or multiple families. The two private bathrooms with showers are an added benefit. Amanda, the host, is always super responsive and attentive and everything is easy. Can’t wait to come back for more adventures!
