This place is great! A dram come true! Honestl, I was doubtful of the photos I saw on their website, but they don’t capture how beautiful the facilities are here. The restrooms showers were modern, clean and many. The various buildings were in perfect space. I reserved a spot in the camping area with is flat and large, and had contacted the hostess prior to arriving because I was riding a large Harley motorcycle and wanted to check on parking options - which were paved and perfectly adequate to a bagger ladened with a weeks worth of camping gear. The hostess was also VERY helpful and stayed in personal contact (not copy paste messages) when I let her know I was coming I. Late after a 600 miles ride. She met me well after hours and treated me better than if I were stopping at a hotel! It was such a blessing after that long ride to take a hot shower in a place that was beautiful and felt very welcoming and safe (I am a woman and was traveling alone, so that’s an important feature for me!). I think that it would be amazing for future stops in the area and a possible family or class reunion in the future.

We had a comfortable stay at Camp Arroyo Grande. It's a nice walk into town, where there are many nice restaurants. We were the only people there, so it was very quiet. It does stay very light at night and the shower heads are the height for kids, but overall it's an affordable, safe stay. We saw turkeys and deer nearby.

I love this place! So cute, close to town, and just what we needed for a party of 4! Basic accommodations with a clean community bathroom. This would be a wonderful place for an event. The camp hosts are very nice and accommodating:) Don’t forget bedding!!

Cabin fun for the family

Camp Arroyo Grande provided a wonderful experience for our family. We stayed in the Rooster Mason cabin, which, while not having an in-cabin bathroom, was located just steps away from the restroom facilities. The convenience made it feel no different than walking down a hallway at home. The pool was well-maintained, safely chlorinated, and stocked with beach balls and a basketball hoop that added to the fun of the afternoon. The grounds themselves are beautiful, with plenty of space to explore and endless opportunities for great photos. Our cabin offered plenty of room, with clean and comfortable beds that suited our needs perfectly. Overall, Camp Arroyo Grande is an affordable and enjoyable place for families, and we would happily return.

Stopover on a northbound road trip.

We only stayed a short time on a road trip on the PCH. Very quiet camp, dark sky for stargazing, and a really great base for Pismo. Lovely walk down into Arroyo Grande for dinner, if simple pleasures float your boat, this is perfect.

Loved the peacefulness and quietness as well as the location. Super close to restaurants and gas station. Beautiful view and comfy beds! Fire pit and grill were very clean and convenient to use. Only downside for us were the motion sensored bathroom lights. We understand it's to preserve energy. However, it was an inconvenience for us. The automatic light shut-off didn't last very long if you're not moving around in the bathrooms. So when we were in there for at least more than 7-10 min in the toilets the light shuts off.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was clean and had plenty of electrical plugs to recharge our phones, headlamps, etc. The pool was clean and water heated. Restrooms and showers were very clean too. One tiny criticism is that the women's restroom light sensor turns off quickly. I had to come out of the stall to waive my hand to get the lights to turn on again. Overall, we enjoyed it and will stay again if the opportunity presents.

I loved the campground. The cabin area, restrooms and showers were very clean, we had a lot of space and there was a space heater in the cabin which was perfect for the cold night. It was very close to the beach and conveniently close to a lot of stores and restraunts. The host was very kind. We will definitely be coming back again.

We stayed in a wonderful cabin which was spotlessly clean with lots of windows for ventilation. The bathrooms were also spotlessly clean. It was very quiet while we were there with lots of birdsong. It was a very easy check-in and check-out. I highly recommend this HipCamp.

This cabin is HUGE with tons of space for a larger group to hang out. The beds are great and we loved having so much bathroom space! The grounds are beautiful and the camp staff are so friendly and accommodating. We will absolutely be back :)

This beautiful site has comfortable beds and clean facilities at great budget-friendly nightly rates. It's also a short drive to stores and beautiful sightseeing spots along the central coast, such as Grover Beach, Pismo Beach, Morro Bay, and Cambria. We had a great family trip!

Great Pismo Stopover

Easy walk from the little downtown area, nice communal fire pit, we got a level spot with a picnic table, I hiked to the top of the hill with my kid and it was a very easy hike and a nice view. Very very pleasant for a brief overnight visit on our way down to SoCal.

Cute little cabins, hot hot hot showers and a very laid-back vibe. Only cons are the cabins very limited and easily overwhelmed power supply and outlets. Power fell out a couple of times and luckily we figured it out quickly or it would have really affected our trip. Nights have been in the 40's, so I'd bring extra warm blankets if you plan on staying in summer weather.

Beautiful, sparkly clean, spacious cabins. Restrooms are clean. Showers are great. In the middle of town but feels secluded. We slept so well - beds are comfortable, we felt safe. Neighbors were respectful of quiet hours. Zero complaints! We will definitely return.

Simple Cabin Camping

The cabin was perfect for a quick overnight. All we brought were our sleeping bags and pillows. It was a great evening. I especially liked the secondary cooking fire pit that made it easy to make some dinner upon our arrival. There was even a small stack of firewood. For the price, you can’t beat it!

We stayed a couple of times and had the opportunity to experience silence and tranquility as well as noise and lack of privacy, that famous Russian roulette of campgrounds. You don't have much privacy on your site because of course it is an ‘Open Space’, but in addition to that people walk through your space, around your tent and car, and it is also located in the middle of the land so it is a path where cars pass by; one Saturday we were woken up at 6:50am by 6 caravan buses listening to Regatton very loudly; we don't mind the noise but we think there is a certain limit. Overall, it is ideal staying for a few days, getting to know the five cities and then continuing on your journey. The great location, landscape and nice trail around the Camp make it worth it to spend the night.

Lovely little hideaway close to the village! Camp site was nice and clean. Host was available and kind. Restrooms and showers near pool were available, although the pool was closed during our March visit (which we expected). Safe area. If you want seats/table at your site, bring your own. Keep in mind and respect it is a non-smoking property. We would definitely stay again.
