Meadow camping in Bolinas

This place is even better in person. Hosts are incredible people and have made this place exactly what we wanted. It was peaceful and not a ton of other folks. The amenities were awesome- from hot tub, to a shower, toilets to the animals in the background… all in their great little farm. Had a little shop to offer little things just in case you forgot something. This place is well kept, clearly cared for and a bit of magic. We will definitely be back! Grateful to have been hosted here!

Peaceful coastal retreat near SF

I enjoyed my weekend at Sirima & Walter’s farm camp so much! The peaceful setting here is just an hour’s drive along the windy rural roads from SF but feels like another world. It’s quiet in the meadow where we pitch our tents among the trees next to the chickens, bees, and other farm animals. And the small outdoor kitchen, gas, grill, covered picnic table, shower, and HOT TUB! What more could I ask for? Host Walter was very accommodating to my trip changes, and his suggestion to upgrade to one of the two rustic (but weatherproof and powered) cabins was a good one when I arrived after dark on a weekend with rain forecasted. I look forward to my next opportunity to visit again to this perfect retreat from the City!

We had a delightful stay at Blackberry Farm! It was a treat to wake up in the misty meadow, check out the farm animals, and stroll into town. The kitchen, firepit, hot tub, and bathroom areas were well set-up and made it very comfortable to hang out with our group. I would love to come back!

Literal perfection. Outdoor shower, kitchen area, hot tub, fire pit, fairy circle, and everything else was exactly what I needed. Highly recommend this HipCamp!! Such a beautiful property with chickens, ducks, and sheep.

enjoyed BBF blueberry farms overnight camp with a common area that has flush toilets, electrical outlets outdoor shower, running water from faucet nit spigots and a hot tub…sweet. there are 2 “cabins” with 2 beds, semi-glamping. would be good for friends who don’t want to sleep on the ground. “downtown” Bolinas & a surfer beach a short walk away. no wood fires allowed but propane firepit just fine. Stinson Beach a 10 minute drive away. nice!

The host met us as we pulled up and gave us a quick tour of the area and amenities which was fantastic. It’s always a little weird thinking you are staying in someone’s yard but they had a great set up. The campsites were level and large enough for our three tents. We brought our own kitchenware but they had sinks, soap and anything we may have forgotten. Yes the rooster can be loud but I pretty much slept through it. Great spot!

Such a beautiful property! We soaked in the hot tub and dried off around the fit pit, the facilities are really well cared for. I didn’t realize we couldn’t drive onto the grassy areas but that’s on me, we parked our camper in the guest area and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great spot and within walking distance to town and the ocean. Farm animals were entertaining and the host was very kind. Bathhouse was clean and the hot tub was an added bonus. Great that a grill, gas stove, cooking supplies, and propane fire pit were provided! You will be in the company of a few other campers, but we didn’t mind and enjoyed some conversations with others. We’d love to come back!

Beautiful, quiet, cozy camp site

Beautiful, quiet, cozy camp site on a small farm and close to the town of Bolinas, ocean, hiking trails and the best little farm stand (their produce and eggs are incredible) along the coast! The outdoor kitchen and bathroom were lovely and the other guests, as well as the hosts, were considerate, friendly and helpful. Felt private, peaceful too. Everyone respected the shared amenities and space. So lovely. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Met my Dad and his friend when they were biking down the coast. It was super easy to book and for all of us to find. Lovely little place to camp set up within a little farm. Didn’t use the showers but the outdoor toilets, hot tub, and kitchen all worked great. We had pancakes for breakfast and watched all the sheep come out. There as a spot by the bathrooms for my dad to charge his bike battery.

Charming Animal Farm Getaway

My boyfriend and I loved the Elk shed. It was a short and fleeting visit for us but worth every second. The hot tub was a relaxing thing to do after we cooked dinner in the outdoor kitchen. Walter was very kind when we arrived right at sunset and showed us around. You can hear the distant “baa!”-ing of the nearby sheep in the evening and the crowing of a rooster at the crack of dawn. I personally loved it and enjoyed the feel of being on a farm, but something to be aware of if you are sensitive to things like that. In the middle of the camping area between the camping ground and two sheds is a shower on site and two bathroom stalls, a bathroom sink with mirror, a spacious kitchen sink and spray hose just off the outdoor kitchen setup, an outdoor dining area and a propane-powered campfire circle (no lighting or wood is permitted but the propane-powered fire was lovely to sit by with a hot cup of tea). They have a pretty stocked kitchen utensil-wise. Whoever keeps up with the seasoning of those cast iron pans is a saint! My boyfriend and I used the on-site grill to make a steak dinner and the cooking setup to pan-fry some potatoes and made a nice pan gravy to top our steaks. Bring your own foodstuffs obviously, and I recommend bringing a double-bag paper grocery bag lined with a trash bag situation to keep all your trash intact, as there are no trash cans on site and you are responsible for cleaning up after yourself. Bring your own towels and bedding, we loved this camp!

Tent camped for a couple nights here with the kids. Really easy spot - fire pit and hot tub and showers were wonderful, and Bolinas great as usual. Hosts were super kind and helpful. The space was filled with families with kids - which was great for us but it's definitely close quarters if you're not into getting to know your neighbors or hoping for silent mornings. Great spot, definitely recommend.

Absolutely beautiful location and just loved all the farm animals around! Tucked away from any hustle or bustle and completely peaceful. Enjoyed the hot tub under the stars and was able to fully recharge with the on-site shower.

We were incredibly lucky to have found Sirima & Walter's farm. It was a last minute decision so we were fortunate they weren't completely booked. The property is beautiful and well maintained - the hosts responsive to our questions before booking - directions were very clear - and we enjoyed getting to know a bit more about them. Our camp 'mates' on the property were considerate and pleasant. Its a real gem of a place and we look forward to returning in the Spring!

Very friendly hosts, and family friendly environment. Restrooms, shower, hot tub, hot water all on site, even a small kitchen and bbq if you don’t have your own cookware. Would definitely go again, and recommend this to anyone looking for a place to take your family, as the children will enjoy the animals, as well as the amenities.

We felt very lucky to find this beautiful spot and accommodating hosts at the last minute. There was a fully equipped, outdoor kitchen, hot tub,, shower and flush toilets. Definitely felt luxurious. The campsite was comfortable and quiet, a perfect spot for stargazing. We will definitely return!

This is a wonderful, peaceful, and interesting place. There were no other campers during my stay, so everything was very quiet. It was so nice to have a hot shower and kitchen! Everything is very thoughtfully put together, and there are lovely areas to gather too.
