Welcome to Blackberry Farm, a rustic retreat in Bolinas on the western slope of Mount Tamalpais. Set on historic Peter’s Dairy Ranch, our farm offers a grassy meadow with 4 walk-in tent sites, plus two rustic sheds. Wake to songbirds, hens, and sheep, and fall asleep under the stars. Amenities include an outdoor shower and hot tub, a covered cooking area, hangout space, tree swings, and redwood grove seating. Just a 15-minute walk to downtown Bolinas and the beach. Group camping welcome—please self-book all sites and sheds for private gatherings (max 20 people). Reservations open 3 months in advance. Sites book out fast. Closed seasonally from Thanksgiving to early March. We had a lovely time staying at the farm. Each site has its own picnic tables and there is shared kitchen sink, kitchen prep space, dining area, and restroom (bathroom and shower). The site is very communal so you will get to know your neighbors, but that is certainly part of its charm. The farm animas are adorable to watch. Only FYI is that if you are brining a dog there are foxtails and ticks. Would come back again.

We had a great trip camping at Blackberry Farm. All of the facilities were well maintained and the campsite was beautiful. The site was fully booked the weekend we camped, but it never felt overcrowded and my kids made friends with other kids and there was plenty of space to run around and play. It's within walking distance to Bolinas town and the beach, which was super convenient. We would definitely book again!

A beautiful and quiet spot to recharge for a couple of nights. Our kids loved being able to run around the grassy area. You are fairly close to other campers, which for us wasn’t a problem. The fellow campers were friendly. Walter was a great host. Be sure to pack up and store your food, garbage, and recycling nightly as there are little critters that come looking for scraps (to be expected with so much wildlife around).

Absolutely delightful stay at Blackberry Farm! We loved our camp spot by the ducks and chickens, enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the night, and were grateful to enjoy the peace and beauty all around us on Walter and Sirima's land. Just a short walk into Bolinas (a lovely little town) and gorgeous drives up to Mt. Tam for hiking or into San Francisco. A perfect getaway!!

This was such a lovely spot to camp. We found the location very easily and Walter was a great host. He came out and greeted us with a warm smile, helped us get the lay of the land, and we got right to camping with the kids in this charming little farm meadow getaway. All of the hikes and beaches nearby are amazingly beautiful and easy to get to as well, and the little town is very sweet.

My 1st Hipcamp experience and it was absolutely perfect!!! I was on the last day of a bike camping trip and just wanted an easy place to pitch a tent and rest before crossing back over Mt Tam and i couldn't have asked for a more idyllic location than on a blackberry farm, under some trees, in a sleepy coastal farming town. too bad it was cloudy that day. The campsites were perfect, clean and exactly as described in the ad. Sirima and Walter were great hosts. friendly and helpful. There's grocery store just down the street from the farm. I would love to come back with my family and stay longer.

5/5 Stars! We had a great one night stay at Blackberry Farm. The campground exceeded our expectations. The amenities were great, the grill and kitchen area were perfect for our BBQ dinner. The tent-site was restful and tidy. And the farm animals were no problem. The campground was only 5 minutes from great surf and the hot showers and hot tub were the perfect end to our stay after and early morning session. Finally, our host, Walter, was both accommodating and laid back. We will return to Blackberry Farm.

Had an amazing, relaxing stay at Meadow Camping in Bolinas. The property strikes a perfect balance between rustic camping and thoughtful comfort. Waking up in the meadow surrounded by sheep, chickens, and towering cypress trees felt incredibly peaceful, and the setting has a special, almost magical atmosphere. The shared amenities were a huge highlight. The outdoor kitchen was well-equipped, the hot showers and flush toilets were clean and convenient, and soaking in the hot tub after a day of hiking or exploring the coast was hard to beat. It's clear that the hosts have put a lot of care into creating a welcoming space. The location is fantastic. Loved spending our evenings under the stars and our mornings enjoying the sounds of the farm. If you're looking for a unique camping experience with beautiful surroundings, friendly hosts, and amenities that make outdoor living easy, this is an exceptional spot. Sirima and Walter are incredibly thoughtful hosts as well. Feeling grateful and thankful to have experienced the weekend at their spot.

It was a wonderful location! My child was particularly fond of the chickens and the other farm animals, which provided excellent entertainment. The site is conveniently located within walking distance of the downtown area. The amenities available for camping were fantastic, and we especially enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. I would definitely suggest this for anyone looking for a simple camping experience.

Delightful stay with friendly and warm hosts! The cabins are in the shared camp area but still feel private and peaceful. They also have comfy mattresses and power to charge phones etc. A quick walk or drive gets you into town.

Delightful lil meadow surrounded by a well maintained farm. 3 of the tent spots are shaded under oak trees. Bathrooms, shower, and basic kitchen area to wash up easy and heat up food or water on a stove. Finding the farm is the only difficult part so be sure to plan around arriving well before sunset. It’s not hard to find it in daylight hours but due to unreliable cellular service and GPS that seems to be off by around 100 meters. The hosts provide a detailed arrival guide that helps. Very friendly hosts, and as far as camp sites go they have clearly put a lot of effort into maintaining it and building it up into a very comfortable base camp for campers looking to explore the area. Plan ahead, come with a full tank of gas and snacks as you may find yourself wanting to explore the area and you may notice it’s logistically far out from most stores and services. but thats sorta the point!

The meadow is spacious and bathrooms and facilities are well maintained. The hot tub is a very nice bonus after a surf. The hosts were available for questions and were welcoming. The field with sheep were fun to watch and it was lovely sleeping under the cypress trees.

The meadow is as described and the farm animals are fenced, well contained and really fun to watch. Goats are hilarious! The kitchen, campfire and bathroom amenities are so sweet and thoughtful. Hand cream and body gel were provided. We went to sleep to wind blowing through the trees and woke up to chickens clucking. Just delightful.

We had a pleasant stay and enjoyed nice weather, easy walk to town and the beach. While the camping area is small, which the listing notes, the other two groups were friendly and everyone did their own thing. We were appreciative of all the amenities this place offered which meant we only had to pack food and tent gear.
