We bought the farmette with much work outside and home interior remodel to complete. We slowly turned the property into our family oasis. We neighbor a pasture with cows. There are free range chickens running around during the day. Geese greet us every evening and morning at the pond...as do the many bullfrogs. Occasionally you'll hear the coyotes, but they keep their distance. The stars shine peacefully and the sunsets are picturesque (most afternoons). The pond is a great place to swim and fish. The hillside is a nice walk for exercise or take the easier route and sit under the great oak tree in the other pasture. Campsites are off the road, behind our main home. You won't find a sign...we keep it simple. We allow pets at the sites for a $5 per pet/per night. If you would like to bring a pet, please add the Pet Fee which is listed on the Extra during the booking process. We have firewood available for sale, $5.55/bundle. This is located in the Extra section during the booking process. Lastly, there is free range chicken eggs available for purchase, $3.50/dozen. This is also located in the Extra section during the booking process.

Near a private pond with fishing, swimming, paddle boating, or build a sandcastle in the beach. Take a short walk in the evening up the hillside through the pasture to watch a beautiful sunset. There is a small playset for children. Galena is 32 minutes by car. Two wineries within 30 minutes. A couple different breweries to tour within 25-35 minutes. A state park to hike or fish in. So much surrounding our area.

Easy Does It has enough room to sleep 8. It has a master bedroom, that will sleep 2. A back bedroom that will sleep 4. The a couch and a table booth that both break down to sleep another 2. There is a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink. A kitchenette with a refrigerator, stove, and sink. This rental comes with linens including bedding, bath towels, beach towels, hand/kitchen towels, and washcloths. There is complimentary toilet paper, paper towel, coffee pods, sugar, sunblock, bug spray, dish soap, and garbage bags. It has an outdoor picnic table and fire ring. Parking is at the site.

This site also has been modified from previous years and the location on the property has moved to a new section of the property that used to be where an old barn with a milking parlor used to be. It has a water hookup, 50amp electric service, a picnic table, and a fire ring.

Nestled in a spot in what used to be an old barn with milking parlor. When we purchased the land, the barn was too far gone to be repaired and so it was burned down. There was an old silo right next to it that was also falling apart, so it too was removed. The old barn area became a burn pit for awhile, then we cleaned it up. Brought in dirt, grass seed, and straw to get some grass growing. At last, we decided to move the old site 3 to this location. It’s long and narrow. This site has a 50amp hookup, a water hookup, a fire ring, and a picnic table.

Stayed Memorial Day weekend. It was a nice, clean, quiet stay. Very family friendly. We got in late on the first night and the host was very quick to bring us a fire grate at 9:30pm. Campsites are spread out nicely. If you don’t have a tolerance for children: this is not the camping spot for you. Farm animals and paddle boating were lovely perks.

Great site!! My kids had a blast fishing and swimming, my dog had a blast running around, and our family enjoyed the landscaped as we "unplugged" and became present in the moment. Thank you Kevin! We will be back.

Upon arriving the views were immaculate. The pathway up the hill was amazing. There is plenty of stuff to do. They have pedal boats, which was fun to do. The playground and sand area was a nice little touch. Plenty of sitting areas, benches and a gazebo that offers shade. Bathroom and shower shed was clean. Will definitely be returning again in the near future.

Kevin's property was very nice for camping. The kids had a blast in the paddle boats and fishing. Nice walk to a very scenic view at the top of the hill. Will be going back very soon!

The owner of the property was very nice, and the property itself was open and nice. Unfortunately, our site was right next to a fence of a house of someone living on the property and close to another house on the other side with construction around and a water connection split 3 ways. We made accomodations to have a site with a sewer connection at booking, but there was no dump access at the site or anywhere on the property.

Very helpful and really nice people. The bathroom and shower were awesome and very clean. I really just needed a place to sleep and shower each night and this was a perfect choice.

Fall farm camping at its finest!

Our family had ANOTHER wonderful weekend at Lindens! Fall camping it just another vibe. Day fires, changing colors, crisp air. Kevin and his family keep the grounds looking beautiful. Our friends rented the travel trailer and can't wait to go back! See you next camp season!

Great Time

The land was beautiful and peaceful. We camped in the center 3 sites. We fished everyday, went hiking nearby, and had bonfires. There were Cute cows, chickens, and ducks. The owners were very friendly. I would like to go back. But my family said they'd only go back if more bathrooms were installed. Having only 1 bathroom is difficult when there's any other people camping.

Beautiful views, quiet, great for f

Overall the experience was really good. The location had amazing views with open fields and a pond. Thr bayhroom on-site was clean and convenient. Water and electric is available at ease. The pond was an amazing communal space along with a cute playground for younger kids. Only downside was there is some construction on one of the houses onsite going on. The construction took place during our stay so we left for a few hours to go explore the state park. Owner of the site was apologetic for not giving us prior notification of construction by providing a nights worth of firewood. I imagine the construction will be done in a few weeks, so shouldn't be an issue next season!

A wonderful find for couples/single

My husband and I stayed 9 days at site#2. While it was perfect for us, it might not be for everyone. Bath facility was close and clean. It took us 2 showers to figure out the ebb and flow of the hot water but it was worth it. The area was busy in the mornings though surprisingly quiet. Chickens and cows were our only neighbors. The family lives on site and were respectful of our privacy. Little shade from trees but we were seldom there during the day and the nights were cool and dry. There are few activities for families and no camp stores . The sites are water, 50amp electric and a bit uneven. Our site also had dump access. It was exactly what we wanted for a change from regular campgrounds. I would go back if I ever planned a trip in that direction. I would not change anything.

We truly had a wonderful time on Kevin’s property. It was clean, comfortable and so well maintained. The fresh eggs are a must. The trails up the hill had breathtaking views and even at night we slept without our tent cover to see all the stars. So amazing! Thank you Kevin what a wonderful stay we had.

I absolutely loved how close everything (the pond, the bathroom, the site) to each other because it put me more at ease to know where my kids were at. My friend joined us and it was her first time camping and she fell in love with the whole experience! The views and the land were absolutely gorgeous! We had tons of fun and even the day of our check in, we had a beautiful double rainbow welcome us! Thank you for having us Kevin!

Great family camping

Our family camped at the original site. We had so much fun! There is a lot there to fill your day. Beach area with plenty of toys for kids and seating. The paddle boat was a lot of fun. We went around the pond looking for big frogs. The geese and chickens were entertaining to interact with. The hillside has lots of trails to explore. The views from the campsite or the hilltop were great! It was a peaceful and quiet place when we were there. There is also a very accommodating full bathroom with hot water and a large sink. The ability to use electricity at this site was a huge plus. I have been to a few campgrounds in years past. This one will Standout for a long time. We will definitely come back!!

Site 7 was great for shade. Pond was great for swimming and fishing. Bathroom shower was pretty inconsistent but everything else was great!

Wide Open Spaces

Wide open spaces! Linden camper was clean and stocked! We stayed on the farm with our daughter, whilebher family camped. The rental camper was perfect! All the comforts of home and the views were perfection. Listening to the cows in the pasture, and the rooster crow... the stars were alive! Fishing was fun with the grandkids, and the view from the top of the hill was amazing, hello Wisconsin!

My husband, kids and I met with some family to tent camp for the weekend at site 1! The site itself was wonderful. Right along the pond on one side, a playset to the rear and close to the bathrooms too. The kids had the time of their life playing, paddle boating, watching the chickens and checking out the cows. The entire property is adorable, clean and welcoming, not to mention the area in general. We also made a trip to Lena to stop at Lena Brewing- highly recommend that as well. We will definitely be back and are already planning yearly trips!!
