Great spot to send the night

Amazing get away from the touristic areas and to enjoy a scenic view over the ocean and the neighbor island. The amenities very clean and all in very good condition. We loved staying at the camp and already booked our next stay as the host was fast in replying and very friendly. The instructions to find the camp were clear and easy to follow! A must for all camp friends, who enjoy waking up in the forest with a view, no street noise and just local bird sounds in the morning. Loved it!!!

The camp sites were super well kept, Alika has great lighting set ups near bathrooms, walkways and communal area! The public shower water pressure and heat were perfect as well. Definitely would recommend.

Great secluded little spot to post up!! Amazing amenities and everything you could need for a night!! Thanks for the great hospitality!

I loved camping on Alika’s land. He gave very clear directions and there were nice amenities including a shower. The view from the campsite was also gorgeous.

Well kept quiet spot for our campervan. Excellent amenities- clean flush toilets, warm shower, picnic table pavilion. Plenty of motion lights. Very happy with our stay.

Alika's land was quiet and peaceful! After a few nights at a louder campground, it was nice to find peace and stillness at Alika's land. The showers and bathroom were clean and there was a nice pavilion to hang out at. It was close enough to Haleakala National Park, that we were able to explore the park all day and then camp nearby on Alika's land.

I was very pleased to find Alika's property on HIPCAMP. It is tucked away up a hill at the end of a cul-de-sac in the upcountry above the 3000 foot elevation on the slopes of Haleakala, far away from the touristy areas of Kihei, Lahaina, and Kaanapali. The property is quite rural, with multiple fruiting plants and wild birds. The view is impeccable from the property, as it overlooks the south shore. You can see as far east as Molokini and Kahoolawe, and to the west you can see Lanai, Molokai, the central valley and north shore, and the West Maui mountains. On a typical day, I'm certain you could see whales with binoculars!

I camped while on the property, but Alika was kind enough to give me a tour of the 4 cabins on property (which I should have stayed in instead!), as well as show me all of the available facilities (two private toilets, a sink, and a larger kitchen sink) and how to utilize the outdoor *HEATED* shower, which is a huge plus when you are camping/hiking. There is a covered gazebo with dining table next to the large gas grill with available cooking implements (kettle, flat pan, and pots). The property is well lit at night, with motion-sensor timed lights for finding your way around.

I absolutely enjoyed the serenity at Alika's property, and wished that it hadn't completely booked up, as I would have gladly stayed there for the remainder of my trip. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I am on Maui, but next time in one of those cabins! Big alo

Nice location and land. The tent campsite is small, a bit rocky and on a slight slant. For the extremely high price paid I wish the hand soap was not empty and that there was toilet paper in every bathroom.

We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. As stated, in the website the camp site is for a small two to three person tent and it is level although you will have to walk up a slight incline from where you park your car. We take pride in maintaining our amenities such as hand soap, toilet paper and such we check it everyday. As for the cost, you were aware of it before you booked so why did you book in the first place?
