Walk on over to Walker’s Point Recreation Area! Or drive. Whichever way you travel, you’ll want to get here soon—a place where you’ll be greeted by the 2,800-acre Lake Madison and its endless rocky shoreline. Camp, fish, and boat are the main buzz words here. There are roomy campsites and rustic cabins, an excellent walleye and perch population, and easy-access boat ramps and beaches: just about everything you’ll need for a relaxing week-long getaway. Walker’s Point is Lake Herman State Park’s fun brother, offering more water miles and lots of opportunities for family recreation.
