Overall the campsite was fine. It is a small campground with 4 campsites, all with full hookups which was important to us. It is across a road from The Lake, which is a nice park with a manmade lake. We were there for 4th of July and were unaware the fireworks were going to be on that lake until owner told us. It was very loud, terrifying our dogs. It went on during the day culminating in quite a spectacular display. Other than that, the owner was very nice and we did love visiting the town of Luverne which is charming.

Great RV site with full hookups!
Absolutely wonderful experience. The host met us onsite and was so kind. The Lake directly across the street is beautiful. The whole town is lovely and we celebrated Father’s Day at the local Pizza Ranch buffet which was also wonderful. Highly, highly recommend this location. We used it as a home base to day visit Sioux Falls and Sioux City. Easy drive and just off interstate 90. We look forward to coming back again. You won’t be disappointed this is a great site, great host, great location, and great little town.

Really peaceful area not too far away from town. Great bike path that surrounds the town. Brian was great and did a great job of giving the rundown of everything the area had to offer.

Great little spot for the night. The host (Brian) greeted us and offered to help us get backed in. Cozy and quiet and would certainly stay again.
