We had such a great time at Mr. Bob's camp site. It was absolutely gorgeous. There was plenty of fire wood, the scenery on the water was so relaxing, and Mr. Bob was so accommodating answering any questions promptly. Our only complaint is that we didn't stay long enough!

Mr.Bob was an amazing host he told us the best fishing spots on his ponds and we had a wonderful spot to see the stars and watch the sunrise and sunset! In spot three you can set up your tent to face the water directly and you feel secluded! The grill he setup was perfect so everything still felt rustic. Absolutely loved the experience!

We had such a peaceful and magical stay on Bob’s land. The night sky was absolutely breathtaking, so many stars, it felt like we could see the whole galaxy. The lake was beautiful and calming during the day, and the fire pit made the nights extra cozy. We roasted marshmallows and just soaked in the quiet. It did get pretty cold at night, so come prepared with warm layers! Thank you, Bob, for sharing such a special place with us!

This campsite was beautiful and right on the pond. Bob was a great host who reached out beforehand to ensure we would have everything we needed. The site has a fire pit with a grate for cooking with wood provided. It was a great and relaxing time with my son and will most certainly return.

Everything about the stay was exactly what you would want out of a campsite. Bob was very kind. The campsite was very nice; there was plenty of seclusion and privacy. It's one of the best campsites I've ever been to.

Bob was a great host! You can tell he has spent a great deal of time maintaining the grounds. Our site was clean and ready to go when we arrived. My family enjoyed sitting by the pond during the day and fire by night.

This was my first ever solo camping trip and when I tell you within the first 30 minutes, just based on Mr. Bob alone, I will be back habitually. Great conversationalist, helpful, and welcoming above all else. Site-3 came with high praise and it lived up to it, but the entire camp site is beautiful. Reminded me of home which I get little of living in the city now. Fishing is also great. Plenty of walking paths and seats along it to relax.

Bob is great. We had a good stay. It was a nice peaceful, quiet site. I can see why people recommend site 3. It was beautiful, but taken.
We will go back to visit site 3 for sure.

Bob was fantastic and his property is absolutely perfect! We had an absolute blast. Our dog was free to explore and she had the best time, which made it even more worth it. I highly recommend it.

Spectacular and secluded campsite by a lake. A great place to connect with nature. Frogs chirping and fireflies in the trees made it an unforgettable experience. Bob supplied us with ample firewood and a fantastic lounger. We wish we could have stayed for more than just one night!

I absolutely love this camping spot! It’s very beautiful and peaceful. The host was very friendly and went above and beyond when I drained my car battery charging overnight and jump started my car the next day. The porta potty at each site is definitely a huge plus. Me my son and my dog will definitely be back! It was a great escape away from all the chaos of my work week!

We loved the scenery. We caught bass, slept on our tent, enjoyed nature, and had the best time. The property was beautiful. We were all set when we got there. The hanging tent was a nice added touch. We will be back. Many amazing memories were made!

Our stay at Bob's was an absolute delight! It's a short drive from New Orleans and super easy to get to - the perfect weekend getaway. The site is gorgeous. This time we stayed at site 3 but we were the only ones there so we spent lots of time wandering the whole property. We loved the look of site 1 as well and may stay there on our next visit. And Bob is wonderful. So friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Bob is a great host, we camped at site 3 and it was a perfect spot to sit by the water and look at the stars. You can see the sunrise and sunset perfectly as well.

Tent camped in the back spot on Bob’s property, and it was absolutely wonderful! There’s plenty of space and thick tree coverage to make it feel very private. We only had two people and a dog, but the site that we were at could easily have multiple tents spaced out in the different nooks cut into the woods.

Bob's "Escape" is truly that! A great place to rest whilst on the road, or to take a break for a couple of days from the normal busy routines. We've stayed here a few times, and Bob is a terrific and friendly host! This is a great escape!

The Escape
Bob’s hipcamp is definitely an escape - a beautiful and peaceful escape. Bob was a great host who warmly welcomed us onto his property and answered any questions we had. The area is well managed with some forested walking trails and two serene ponds with fish. If you’re a birder, we saw Muscovy Duck on one of his ponds which is usually only spotted in Central and South America! All in all, our stay was absolutely wonderful - especially with the unique bird sighting!

The Escape
An absolute must stay for anyone traveling through the area! Bob is one of the nicest and knowledgeable host you could ask for. Called me to confirm directions and greeted me once I got to the property. We chatted about the land, life, the country and everything in-between, such a nice soul. The land was perfect as well, especially waking up and having some time by yourself to sit by the pond and reflect, 10/10! I will be coming back.

The Escape
The property was beautiful and Bob was super accommodating, even allowing us to stay an extra night on short notice. We camped in the orchard up by the front pond and the dogs loved that they could swim. Making sure we knew of all the best routes on our journey west and all the not to miss spots. We will definitely be keeping in touch and would happily return when back in the area.
