We are located 12 miles south of Sault Ste Marie 1/3 mile west of M-129 on 12 Mile Road. It is a dirt road. The entrance is on the left or south side of the road.
The property is good for either tent camping or a parking place for RVs. There is a new driveway that leads to the camping or parking areas. You can drive on the grass to get to the campsite. Welcome to a rare Lake Superior sand beach property, overlooking Whitefish Bay. This partially wooded site, set back from the main road 250’, offers privacy while also being within the boundaries of the small community of Paradise. Restaurants, groceries and food trucks are a short walk away.
The beach or the stair’s viewing deck offer a great spot to watch the sun rise over the lake while having your morning brew. You can pick wild blueberries in July and August in the woods between your camper and the beach.

I have a few areas on the property that You can use to suit your needs. you can tent camp or vehicle camp at some and park and walk about 100 feet or so and tent camp only. there is power and water available on the property but not at each site. I am developing this into a place for camping slowly and that's why i only have a few areas as of right now. Unfortunately, there are no bathrooms to use yet.
Update: gps for maps is in correct and takes to to neighbors driveway and home . The mail box for this place is blue and has a red address Tag and a sign that says Sailors Sky. Please turn immediately at mailbox. It has caused problems with having people on neighbors property with flashlights and police being called due to incorrect gsuspicious activity.

Jasper Moss is a glamping retreat experience located on the remote Bois Blanc Island, Michigan, where you can unplug, rest, retreat and rejuvenate while surrounded by untouched nature. The venue consists of three yurts, an outdoor shower, sink and toilet, and fully screened outdoor kitchen. It is located across the gravel road from Lake Huron, next to a public nature preserve and a 5-minute walk from one of just two restaurants on the island.
The blue and turquoise yurts each have a full-sized bed, a small table and two chairs. The red yurt has two twin beds. There is basic electric access for a bedside light, fan, and charging of electronics as needed. The outdoor kitchen is fully screened in, and offers basic amenities for communal use, such as a refrigerator, grill, gas burner and griddle, toaster oven, coffee maker, and basic utensils, dishes, pots, and pans. Revelers will live comfortably close to the Earth and immersed in the diversity of flora, fauna, and geology.
Onsite is a separate art studio where we paint, turn wood, and do lapidary art.
Inquire directly to customize your island experience. Kids and families are welcome. Jasper Moss is located on a private property, owned and operated by a BIPOC LGBTQIA family of 6.
Important things to note:
1) You must take a ferry to the island, via Plaunt Transportation, which leaves out of Cheboygan, Michigan

The Norton Nook campsites are perfect for off-grid boondocking or pitching a tent. Small Sprinter-style vans or adventure motorcycles are welcome. We offer two campsites on 100 secluded acres with lots of privacy.
Site 1: The Beaver Dam site is more open with a good breeze and a fantastic view of the active large Beaver Pond. This spot is only accessible with a Subaru, Jeep, Truck, or four-wheel drive Sprinter van.
Site 2: The Woods site is just that, in the woods with lots of Pine and Aspen trees. Accessible with any vehicle.
The property is located right off U-23, 7 Miles from Mackinaw City. Bring your bikes and ride from camp to Mackinaw City (7-8 miles) on the Northeastern Bike Trail. The Barbara Hoffius Nature Preserve is only a half-mile away and has great trails to the beach.
These simple campsites are PACK IN PACK OUT. We don’t have any services. There is the Mackinaw Straits roadside park one mile west which has well water and a public bathroom. Table and chairs and a fire pit are provided. Feel free to scavenge for deadfall firewood. Please don’t cut any trees down for any reason. Also, check with the DNR for fire risk. Do not burn during high risk of fire.
The location can't be beaten, if you want to visit the Mackinaw Area but need space from the crowds. It will not disappoint.

This is a half an acre wooded lot in a residential neighborhood on a 25 mph paved road. It is a back in, full hook-up camping spot that is large enough to accommodate rigs big and small. 20, 30, and 50 amp electrical hook-up available along with potable water and septic. This lot is large enough to accommodate a large camper/motor home and tow vehicle. Vehicles will need to be self contained as there is no bathroom of any kind on the site. Monocle Lake boat launch is 2 miles away. Monocle Lake is an inland 146 acre lake that is great for fishing and water sports. Foot traffic public access to Monocle is a 4 minute walk away. This spot is also a 5 min. Walk away from public access to the beaches of Lake Superior. Walk the miles of beach to your hearts content. Iroquois Point light house is along the way. Spectical Lake overlook is merely 3.1 miles away on a county road legal for ORV's. The overlook is the gateway to the Hiawatha National Forest trails. This area has many activities for the outdoor enthusiast. Single Track hiking and mountain biking trails and northern lights if you are lucky enough to catch them on the beach of Superior.
This campsite is along the U.S. Forest Service Whitefish Bay Scenic Byway. Make this spot your home away from home while touring all Michigan's Eastern Upper Peninsula has to offer.

The stay was wonderful, very helpful on local activities! We stayed on site 10, which was a nice location. The only downside was there was little shade until late evening.
Everything else was great! I really appreciated the family dropping the firewood off at the site while we played cards. Site was clean, and everyone respected the quiet hours! You could barely hear a single car driving at night. Loudest part (and a highlight for me) was listening to the wildlife talking throughout the evening.
We will definitly be coming back to visit again in the fall hopefully!

This blew every expectation we had away. The site is perfect, the lake views are amazing. It's very private. There were some reviews about the cameras she has out on the property and honestly I would do the same thang with this piece of heaven. The one by the shed is pointed down at the door. The one that over looks the site is there to protect what's she's sharing. It honestly didn't bother us. The property trumps that one inconvenience if you can even call it that. The host is great. The communication is fantastic. If you're thinking about booking it just do it. You will not be disappointed.

Yurts are so cute, super clean well appointed and comfortable. The bathrooms designated for yurt guests are also very nice and clean. Great attention to detail and I appreciate that we didn’t see the RV part of the property. I Ben if close to town it still felt peaceful and in nature. We brought our two dogs, and they loved the beach just as much, if not more, than we did. It’s also in a great location for exploring, with Munising about 1 hour and 45 minutes away and a super easy drive to Tahquamenon falls. Great stay and we’d definitely love to come back! Truly Paradise!

Had a great time at Todd's place. Was a great base camp for visiting Mackinaw City & Mackinac Island. Was convient, affordable, plenty of space for several tents, pet friendly and had electricity and a port a potty. We would definitely stay again if we need a place to stay in the area.

The campground was easy to find, navigate and set up in. Stephanie came out to greet us and she was a delight! The firewood already bundles and the little gift for our stay were a lovely touch and I would definitely stay there again. I will say that the skeeters were relentless, but welcome to the UP😂. It was about an 18 minute drive to Whitefish Point as well so that was a highlight! Check in was simple and Stephanie responded to my messages quickly and clearly.
