Beautiful property on the St. Mary's River in the Eastern Upper Peninsula. Watch the freighter go by. Have a campfire. Restaurant is walking distance.. Four hookups for water and electric Located in Barbeau, 25 miles from Sault Ste. Marie and the famous Sault Locks. Driving distance to many sites in the Eastern Upper Peninsula Enjoy launching a boat near by or launch a kayak or canoe right from property. Property is not suited for tenting. Must have self contained bathroom facilities

Site is beautifully situated for the perfect view of the river but is protected by trees on one side to limit wind. Watch the boats go by or share a fire at the communal fire pit. A gas grill is available if needed just ask. Family property with limited 4 well-spaced sites. Water and electric are available. No dock space but there is a boat launch just 3.5 miles down the road. Walk easily to the Cozy Corner Bar for fish dinner and ship shots. Only self contained campers suitable. There is no public bathrooms

Family property with no more than 4 campers. Currently have two seasonal campers. Dock is not currently usable but boat ramp is less than three miles. Enjoy seeing ships and freighters go by. Excellent restaurant a 1/2 mile away Bring your kayaks or canoes. Close to Sault Ste. Marie. World class view. Property is a work in progress but known as one of the best views on the river. Must be self contained not suitable for tent camping. Some flexibility with how you park. There are no public restrooms. No dumping allowed near river.

This place was awesome! We were able to park right where we could see the boats coming from the Soo Locks. We hooked up to the electric and filled jugs at the water spicket provided. We did not hook up our water. We only saw one area for water. We definitely enjoyed our stay. The little market down the road wasn’t expensive. We even bought tortillas there!

Heather was very accommodating and the campsite was AWESOME!!! The site was easy to drive into and turn around. It was flat, nicely mowed grass and a fabulous view to watch the ships go by.

I really enjoyed staying at Heather's property. The view of the St. Mary's River is amazing and it was fun to watch the freighters go by. It is a very peaceful spot. Heather wasn't there so I didn't have the opportunity to meet her, but she was responsive to my messages. I would definitely recommend this lovely spot and would stay there again. Note regarding cell service: I have Verizon and my phone connected to a tower in Canada -- when it did occasionally connect. The connection was 3G so it was very poor. Other times, there was no connection at all.

Heather is an excellent host, the site is right on the water, very peaceful and private, right on the Saint Mary’s River, large ships pass right in front of location. Water and electricity on site. I highly recommend

Awesome spot and host! We had a great night on the river watching several freighters head downriver. Quiet and clean with power and water hookups. Would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back.

Heather has an amazing site, right on the river with a view of passing ships. Heather herself is warm and welcoming, and it almost felt like we were staying at a friend's place. We used the site as a base to explore the Eastern UP, but I can imagine it as a quiet escape too. We were extra lucky to be the only guests the two nights we were there. Thanks, Heather, and best of luck with everything.

Heather’s place was a perfect stop off for us and had everything our family needed - hookups, views, fishing and space. It was quiet and we enjoyed chatting about the big boats that come through. Definitely an easy in and out if you’re traveling this way. Even had a place for our garbage which wasn’t much but appreciated nonetheless! Heather is friendly and a great host.

This was a very nice set up. Sites are right on St. Marie's River. Heather was wonderful. Communication was excellent and she made us feel right at home. A plus is that electric and water was available. A big thanks to Heather for sharing her heavenly place with us.

Heather was an AWESOME host! She was incredibly responsive and very transparent! Her property is beautiful. It’s a sanctuary next to the St Mary’s River that provides for peace, quiet and fun! Would totally recommend and hope to be back in the area and rebook for another stay in the future!?

Great location! We ended up tenting it as our Van had decided it needed repairs and couldn't make it. The location on the the river is to die for, kayaked, participated in the international bridge walk and touristed it around the Sault! Thanks Heather for accommodating us. Highly recommend
