Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
No crowds—just natural flora and fauna in an unharvested 65-year-old state forest surrounding an 80-acre, spring-fed bog pond/lake. Float on your back in at least 4 feet of warm surface water that gently envelops your body. Some say the lake is fed by four deep springs. Five kayaks are available free of charge, and complimentary firewood is provided. With no nearby dwellings and restricted public access, you'll enjoy peaceful sunsets and a private setting in Michigan's Eastern Upper Peninsula (EUP). Chippewa County International Airport (CIU) is nearby. Experience a truly peaceful getaway. If you fall in love with the area, nearby parcels may be available for purchase (typically ranging from six to seven figures).A quiet secluded 80 acre lake rustic stay with no dwellings on the site , nor is there anybody near the water. very, very restricted public access. campsite is on 65++ yrs old state land that has an 80 acre lake that’s recently been turned into a rustic campground accommodating 6+(tents & camp supplies available for stay if arriving empty handed). great sunrise - great sunset. good place to celebrate. Nudity fully allowed. no well nor electricity. porta potty available. CAMPFIRES ALLOWED ( firewood supplied)
