The property has been in my family since the early 1930s. the old homestead was my Great Grandparents, it still standing and I currently use it for hatching/hospital/maternity ward/ nursery/ dog rooms. The old barn is now where most of the birds roost. The Greasy Skillet is now a big chicken coop. during hurricane Michael a big tree uprooted and up-rooted the concrete slab with it. What is now my home was my grandparent's house. I renovated some of it and moved in after the loss of my grandma. We are a WORKING FARM You will see and hear all the farm sounds! You can pet the goats . You never know their might even be baby goat to hold and bottle feed. There are chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl, quail and turkeys galore. We now have Peacocks!!! We also have 4 BIG PIG that love ear scratches. We offer farm tours!!! There are livestock guardian dogs that protect the farm. They sleep lots during the day and patrol at night so they bark lots at night... We are a REAL WORKING FARM. You can join in on morning feeding or collet eggs. You can watch or help with morning milking! If you are real adventurous you can help around the farm!!! You can pitch you tent in the pine forest or in the open area next to the ponds! We make and sell homemade cheeses. Please check out our Farm Store ! We are conveniently located off of I-10 and hwy 231. We have numerus Florida State Parks within minutes of our location! Be Right Solutions by the river

8 sites · Tents5 acres · Ponce De Leon, FL
5 acres right off Hwy 20 adjacent to the Choctawhatchee River Boat Ramp near Ebro, Fl. The bridge muffles the sound of the traffic but not enough for light sleepers. Good views of the river. Beautiful dock for fishing. Less than 2 miles to Dollar General for most of your needs, 4 miles to Bruce, Fl. Learn more about this land: Tent camping on the Choctawhatchee River. Two public boat launches right next to the property.  The boat launch has a port-a-potty as do we. We have an outdoor shower that has instant hot water.  We can accommodate boat parking on the property. We have a dock that you can tie your boat to but the water level is often not good for getting on and off the boat.   I'm putting a road into the back so you can go in and out without to boat dock without crossing the road..  At present, you sometimes need a 4 wheel drive to get to the back of the property.   For those of you who wish to boondock with your trailer or motorhome, we can accommodate at most times.    There is a breakfast nook at the tiny house on the hill with a barbecue available.

Local's Life

1 site · RV, Tent1 acre · Fort Walton Beach, FL
We have a nice little RV pad on the back of our coastal home. Situated on a little bayou that opens out into Choctawhatchee Bay. Crab Island is only a 10 minute boat ride away. You would have access to our small dock and there is a neighborhood boat ramp less than one hundred feet away. This is a great place for kayaks, wave runners, and small boats. If you don't have a boat, we can set up any kind of trip you want. We are all licensed captains and own multiple Crab Island businesses. We have a 32' sailboat that has been in our family for 3 generations and our oldest son runs charters on it. You can charter our pontoon boat for as many as 6 people to take you to Crab Island as well as some other spots that only locals know about. We can also accommodate up to 2 people on an inshore flats skiff targeting redfish and trout on light spinning gear and fly rods. The neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Fort Walton with large oaks and magnolias providing plenty of shade for bike riding and walking. Downtown Fort Walton with its shops and quaint restaurants is only a mile away. Didn't bring a bike, we have 2 you can use. The site comes with water/sewer and 30 Amp hookup. The sight can accommodate up to 43' for trailer and vehicle.
