Terry Bison Ranch has a history all the way back to the 1800's. The ranch was once owned by F. E. Warren (The first governor of the state of Wyoming). President Teddy Roosevelt was also a guest at the ranch and a picture of him in the main house, hangs on the wall in the Senators Steakhouse. For more in depth history of this amazing ranch, come visit and ride the bison train tour, let your kids take a pony ride, or enjoy a family fun trail ride! Dumping any sewage or grey water is Prohibited by Law, $500 fine. Free-range chickens closer to the house. Run dogs on the back 10 if they are overly curious or chasing chickens. Quiet Generator, 60 decibels or less. No Loud Gens allowed for more than 2 hours, off by 9PM on at 7AM. LOCAL PLACES 22 miles to Kurt Gowdy State Park where you can rent a kayak or go for a hike to the Hidden Falls, Vedauwoo (Vee dah voo) hiking trails. Check out the Bunk House Bar and Grill for a great food with a western experience. 7 miles to Wyoming State Capital and the yummy Rib and Chop House, in the heart of downtown, Cheyenne 3 miles to gas, 5 miles to Groceries and fast food 2.5 to The Little Bear / The Brand Bar - the back of the Steak House. Local Beef n beer, great food! WINTER CAMPING: ASK/Message about the Indoor shower at the Guest House ($5 bucks, includes towels and soaps or bring your own $3 bucks). My husband and I built the barn and all structures! The house was the last thing to get finished, we moved in March of 2020. We raise Cattle and Bernedoodle dogs. And also enjoy training horses and competing with the Mustang Heritage Foundation. If you walk around you will see many American Mustangs! We hope you enjoy the fantastic views and the peaceful surroundings as we do!!
