Quiet Generator, 60 decibels or less. No Loud Gens allowed for more than 2 hours, off by 9PM on at 7AM. LOCAL PLACES 22 miles to Kurt Gowdy State Park where you can rent a kayak or go for a hike to the Hidden Falls, Vedauwoo (Vee dah voo) hiking trails. Check out the Bunk House Bar and Grill for a great food with a western experience. 7 miles to Wyoming State Capital and the yummy Rib and Chop House, in the heart of downtown, Cheyenne 3 miles to gas, 5 miles to Groceries and fast food 2.5 to The Little Bear / The Brand Bar - the back of the Steak House. Local Beef n beer, great food! WINTER CAMPING: ASK/Message about the Indoor shower at the Guest House ($5 bucks, includes towels and soaps or bring your own $3 bucks). We also rent rooms in our Guest House, Horsebox Renovation and Guest House Lodging (Hostel Style). Terry Bison Ranch Resort

Terry Bison Ranch has a history all the way back to the 1800's. The ranch was once owned by F. E. Warren (The first governor of the state of Wyoming). President Teddy Roosevelt was also a guest at the ranch and a picture of him in the main house, hangs on the wall in the Senators Steakhouse. For more in depth history of this amazing ranch, come visit and ride the bison train tour, let your kids take a pony ride, or enjoy a family fun trail ride! Learn more about this land: Terry Bison Ranch Resort is a functioning bison ranch with adventures to explore. We have a bison train tour that takes you out to feed the bison, a steak house, horseback trail rides, and plenty of animals to look at. The dry camping is in the fields surrounding the park.

My homestead is located on 4 1/2 acres of pastureland that currently have no animals. The camping spots are located on the back part of the property and along a refurbished shed that includes a 20amp plug, interior electric, clean well water delivery or hose filling in warmer months as well as a separately fenced area for visiting canines (Please only non-aggressive breeds unless leashed at your camp). My Golden has an invisible fence and is not allowed to visit campers unless permitted. Fires are only permitted and shared on the back patio of my home. Activities for fun on site include corn hole, firepit on upper patio along with a propane weber grill. Only 1 mile from Frontier Park and an electric bike ride to downtown to tour the museums, restaurants & shops. Currently, new to hip camp and refurbishing the house and exterior so The Shed will be a working/congregating space with refrigerator/freezer, electric cooktop and indoor space with electric heater so folks can escape their cars/vans. Wi-Fi will eventually be in The Shed but is currently available on my back patio. This was my dream come true property and I'm looking forward to sharing it with road warriors like me. Weather is forever changing here and clouds roll by fast leaving the most fabulous rainbows. I just ask that no fires of any kind be set at your site because the field is a fire hazard in the dry plains.

If you are seeking an outdoor getaway but don't have a camper to do so, come use ours! We welcome you to our 36 foot trailer to escape in for the weekend, or for up to 60 days at a time, on our 10acre property. Full hook-ups to help make you comfortable on your stay. The trailer has a master bedroom as well as 2 queen bunk-beds in the back. There are 2 bathrooms in the RV. The master bathroom has a shower/bath. There is also a full couch too if someone is OK sleeping there. SO it can sleep 6 adults comfortably, or 7 if someone wants the couch. The RV also has a full kitchen to cook in with working microwave, stove and refrigerator. We live just up the driveway 90 feet if you need anything; however, you are far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet solo. Farther away from anyone in an RV park, plus the views! We are up Rist Canyon, just 16 miles from Old Town Fort Collins or 11 miles to Laporte (the nearest super market and the famous Vern's Restaurant). We are 52 miles from Estes Park, CO and 21 miles from Red Feather Lake. If you have your own camper and can't find a place to park for a few nights (up to a week if you are self-sustained) hit me up too! We have space for you as well. Tent camping too if you so wish.

Open space near our place: Eagle's Nest, Red Mountain and Soapstone Prairie. When we are not in a fire-ban, we will supply a fire-pit, BUT, you MUST bring your own fire extinguisher. We charge for wood, $15 a bundle--it’s over $300 a cord now!!! Less than 43 miles from Laramie and Cheyenne, and only a half hour drive to Fort Collins. NO toilets or showers are provided! RV PARKING: 5 sites! Sites 1-5 allow pets and kids. Water hook ups in sites 4, and 5. Site 7 &; 8 has shade from 6:30 pm on., but can only be booked without kids or pets. Yes you can group 1&2 or 7&8 for larger bookings. All sites are 75 yards or more apart! Each site has a table, fire-pit, and chairs. All rigs welcome! (No showers or toilets.) We are strict on arrival time, please be here before 7:30PM no later. We will not place you after dark on our land. Check out is before 10 a.m. You can book a fishing tour with professional guides down the Poudre, or simply just set up on our property. You can also visit two horseback-riding stables close by if you want a trail ride. Yes, we have waterfalls 3 miles down the road. All info provided when you arrive and meet. We’ll have a packet with lots of info for you upon arrival. We love to share our land, the wildlife and birds are beautiful each day! Our hope is that at the end of the day, your hands and feet should be dirty, your hair a royal mess, and your soul singing!
