We are directly next to a natural area complete with hiking/biking trails and restroom facility (no shower). It is an excellent place to walk your dog on leash, visit the horses, observe wildlife including many species of birds! We are just a few miles from Horsetooth Resevoir where you can paddle, kayak, etc and just a mile from CSU campus! Bike on a dedicated trail to Old Town to complete your trip with awesome restaurants and a paddle park on the Poudre River!

Really beautiful spot! The cabin is the perfect size and well built. Huge windows overlook the view. You can’t see any neighbors which was perfect for us. Propane firepit was fantastic and Chas was a wonderful host! Very comfortable place - we hope to go back!

We had such a great stay at the Blue Moon Cabin! It was very clean and had everything we needed. The view was gorgeous and the cabin was very private. We really enjoyed the outdoor lounge area with the fire table. The outdoor shower was really a fun experience too! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time staying at the Crow cabin. It was so nice and warm and the hospitality was great. We appreciated being able to add on a shower and charcoal for the grill and only wished we could’ve stayed longer.

We (2 adults and my dog) stayed in South Crow cabin. This is one of the best places I've ever stayed at. It had everything we needed, was dog friendly, quiet and private unlike a hotel. The only negative was that we didn't have time to stay longer. I highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

Nicely done campsite with thoughtful ammenities, covered picnic tables , solar lights, toilet and grill stand. We stayed in our travel trailer but there are 2 sweet tiny cabins on the land that would be nice for a larger group. The rock outcrops and views were pretty and it was very convenient to I80.

We loved staying in South Crow Cabin! It is such a thoughtful design with stunning views. It’s easy to spend hours on the deck admiring the landscape. (We saw several elk and deer come through while we relaxed). The hosts went out of their way to greet us and show us how everything worked. We would gladly stay here again.

Kim was EXCEPTIONALLY responsive. I requested a very last-minute reservation and I didn’t expect to hear back in the wee hours, but she got back to me right away. Her communications were clear, concise and friendly. (Note that I am NOT advocating late night requests if possible, now that it’s dawned on me that hosts may be disturbed by request notifications). Point is, Kim was VERY accommodating and I can’t recommend this site highly enough for that. As for the site itself, it was very clean and easily accessible. I didn’t quite grasp the layout from the listing, but the 2 sites are basically together, and are at the edge of their cabin property and close to the road in a mountain neighborhood with large lots and scattered homes. I don't mean any of that as a negative, just explaining the site. It was quiet and peaceful, especially as evening fell. What I liked a lot is you can back into site 1 in a way that you have a lovely private nook with a nice clean level spacious gravel site with a small picnic table surrounded by a grove of aspen trees. You can see houses nearby but they are not too close and the areas between are wooded. It rained and the aspen leaves began falling which is one of my favorite things :)
I will say for the sake of transparency that because we love privacy and seclusion in general we were grateful that no one was in site 2 nor the cabin due to proximity. It’s not the deep woods but better than crowded campgroundsin my book! RECOMMEND

This place is simply the best. The view and property are unique, beautiful and so fun to explore. The cabin, bathroom and shower are thoughtfully created to allow comfort while also still enjoying the fun parts of camping. The cabin stayed very warm and cozy. They put so much work into the details to make sure you have all you need. There were even long leashes for dogs attached to the deck. The shower is a tankless water heater and gets very warm. We were able to shower comfortably in September outside and they made sure we always had water. Chas and his wife nicely waited up for us as we got in later than expected and took the time to make sure we were settled in. We really didn’t want to leave. There is good reception for your phones. It is close to the highway.

Cabin was cozy and well designed. Highway can be seen and heard from behind the cabin, but the accessible acres of beautiful state land to roam nearby more than makes up for that. Chas was a friendly and informative host and we’d happily stay again. There was plenty of room for me, my partner and our large dog comfortably in the cabin. Waking up to the sunrise over the rocks was so peaceful.

Chas was a fantastic host and has created an awesome group of sites and facilities. We were there with some other campers but everything is spread out and you’ll have plenty of privacy and peace. Bathrooms, cabins, and showers were very clean and easy to access.
You’re also close to tons of trails for hiking/biking/climbing/etc, including Curt Gowdy Park about 3 miles down the road.
There is a gas station five minutes away for ice and snacks, and it’s only ~20mins to Cheyenne or Laramie if you want to grab a bite in town.
I would note for tent campers on the Lee Road site, the highway noise is noticeable at night and there is a train that passes by to say hello at times, so just pack earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. We will be back!

Great little cabin! We stayed there with 2 large dogs and had to do a bit of wrangling space wise but it was beautiful, quaint and has great views. Bring sturdy shoes, there's some sharp shale around the camp table and grill. They even have a long dog lead installed on the deck which we used a lot. The fire ring on the back deck made the evenings fun. A really great experience and the camp hosts couldn't be nicer or more helpful. I had a couple of issues that I was completely wrong about, and they tolerated me with kindness ;)
