Porta potties are located at the light green way point.
Water hydrants are located at the Blue X waypoints.
We do have honey bee hives on property, which are located with the Yellow X waypoint. You are more than welcome to view them if you would like, just please do not touch the hives or any of their watering frames which are black.
We also have Chicken coops on property with 26 hens and 2 roosters which are located at the red waypoint with the bird. They do enjoy going up to people and eating out of hands. They might peck slightly when trying to eat though. The 2 roosters do protect their hens.
Park vehicle in the blue highlighted area as to not have vehicle traffic in the grassed areas down the tree rows. Also, to not have someone accidentally run over a small tree. Please watch out for pink flags. Those markers are for smaller trees so they are easy to spot and not broken down by stepping on them. You are more than welcome to drive along the right side of the property just past the blue area to the back pasture area if you need to for unloading gear for the back wooded tent sites.

Such a beautiful, quiet property. An even more beautiful sheepwagon! Such a cool idea.
Shannon has made it so extremely comforting inside, and I was so warm with the heater and all of the cozy bedding. Such sweet animals - including a cat to keep me company each time I used the bathroom in the barn haha.
Thank you so much for opening up your space, coming from Pennsylvania, this was a great visual opportunity for me to gain inspiration in the life I feel called to.

The property was extremely beautiful and Shannon was very kind, friendly and accommodating. The wagon was charming and the decor was very inviting. There was even a friendly farm cat that came and said hello to us! The trip felt magical overall. Wonderful hosts, wonderful scenery, and very welcoming.

Kim was EXCEPTIONALLY responsive. I requested a very last-minute reservation and I didn’t expect to hear back in the wee hours, but she got back to me right away. Her communications were clear, concise and friendly. (Note that I am NOT advocating late night requests if possible, now that it’s dawned on me that hosts may be disturbed by request notifications). Point is, Kim was VERY accommodating and I can’t recommend this site highly enough for that. As for the site itself, it was very clean and easily accessible. I didn’t quite grasp the layout from the listing, but the 2 sites are basically together, and are at the edge of their cabin property and close to the road in a mountain neighborhood with large lots and scattered homes. I don't mean any of that as a negative, just explaining the site. It was quiet and peaceful, especially as evening fell. What I liked a lot is you can back into site 1 in a way that you have a lovely private nook with a nice clean level spacious gravel site with a small picnic table surrounded by a grove of aspen trees. You can see houses nearby but they are not too close and the areas between are wooded. It rained and the aspen leaves began falling which is one of my favorite things :)
I will say for the sake of transparency that because we love privacy and seclusion in general we were grateful that no one was in site 2 nor the cabin due to proximity. It’s not the deep woods but better than crowded campgroundsin my book! RECOMMEND

Kim’s place is magical. It’s quiet & beautiful & the neighbors are very nice. I walked my dogs several times a day & everyone was very friendly & waved hello. Snake Lake (private) is a close walk away & it is beautiful. Dowdy Lake is a 4-minute drive. Plus, the stargazing is wonderful at this site too. Could see the Milky Way one night! Spot 1 is level & tucked amongst the aspen trees. I hope to camp here again one day. Loved our visit.

We loved everything. I am camping with small children (3 and 5). We arrived after dark but our host called us before sunset to make sure we knew how to get to the tipi.
I appreciate the call-out in the description that sometimes people ask to peek inside because it wasn't weird when someone did ask the following morning :)
The propane fire pit in the center warmed the whole tent up VERY quickly.
The beds were comfortable and it was so amazing to have seating and warm blankets and so much space. We would absolutely return if we're back in the area.

Camping spot in the aspens was real nice, and very quiet! The spot was a couple miles from the Village, and 1/2 mile to the local grocery. Did not meet the owners, unfortunately, as our solar charging was not working well. Had to leave Saturday afternoon, as we were afraid that by Sunday we wouldn’t have enough power to close up and hook up. Red Feather Lakes village reminded me of an old western town, and the surrounding lakes and scenery were beautiful. Highly recommend!!

This was such a great place to stay at! People are very kind there the showers are clean with hot and warm showers option for cabin or RV stay. The Steakhouse wasnt open due to the effects of COVID but could one day come back with more traffic! The train tour of the ranch was so fun and loved feeding the bison! It is $25 per person not included with the stay but well worth while! More people need to cone stay here and meet the fun animals! We will be comming back soon with our children for family fun!!!

The only issue we ran into was, when we arrived, they were cutting trees, so we weren’t able to stay at the site. Trish did let us stay in her driveway, so it did work out. All in all, this was a good place to stay.

What a beautiful area of the country. It was a lot of fun to spend a little time here with my dog who loves cows, and got to hang out with the chickens and horses at the ranch. Shannon was super friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely time and wow, the sunset was amazing!

Perfect setup, right in town, easy access to all the lakes and town shops/restaurants. Potbelly and The Tavern were really cool spots for food & drinks.. Easy pull in & out, highly recommend.

Terrific site in a beautiful community. It really was lovely and shady and quiet. There was a camper next to us and the property was inhabited by family members of the owners. Even still, the space was quiet and comfortable. A true retreat to beat the heat. Thank you!

Easy check in, and friendly staff! Lots of activities to do (free and paid). It is fun to see all the animals around. Bathrooms were nice and clean.
