Site 1 – River Edge Site
The River Edge site is a cleared area along the Plover River which includes a cracked granite fire pit, concrete bench, and nearby picnic table. It is an ideal site for tent camping.
Site 2 – Woodland Fern Site
The Woodland Fern site is a large shady site among mature trees ideal for tent or hammock camping. The site includes two cleared areas and a portable fire pit. There are lovely benches along the river and hammock chairs nearby.
Site 3 – Boardwalk Trail Site
The wooded Boardwalk Trail opens to secluded grassy site ideal for tent or hammock camping. A stone fire pit is included.

Pretty spot along the river. Access to kayaking and tubing during warm weather. Michael was a friendly host. Good privacy between sites. One heads up, Google maps will tell you that you’ve arrived, but you’ll need to go just a little further before you see the red building.

Amazing, private place place to camp. Adam and Jackie are super friendly and made sure to check in on us once in awhile (not too much, just enough). They are super dog friendly and my dogs loved running around off leash. The property is beautiful as well as the surrounding lakes and towns.

The Old Red Mill Oasis is heaven on earth in Central Wisconsin! The whole property along the Big Plover River has been carefully curated, with gazing benches showcasing meditative views. I loved to listen to the rush of the river at the Red Mill, and walk the manicured trails. My doodle dog Yummy is in absolute bliss on the land! The mushroom hunting was sublime in the prime! Michael is such a gracious host and wants to make your experience a memory to last forever. The kayaking is supreme, with a few different options. It's a treat when the heron leads you back to camp. Thank you, Michael!

Had an amazing stay! The hosts were so kind and helpful, the nature was beautiful and abundant with lots of animals, and despite a rainy night in our tents it was quite peaceful and grounding. For those who like to camp with some modern comforts, the porta-potty's were neat and clean, the shower was perfect and warm, and the hosts have a nice communal area with an honor system style pay back for any foods, beverages, camping supplies, and other things you may need during your stay. The clubhouse/rec room was lovely as well with plenty of activities!

This location is just amazing in so many ways. A beautiful well kept property. I woke up with deer around my camper this morning. Adam met me when I arrived. Gave me a quick tour and went out of his way to be sure that I was comfortable. I highly recommend this hip camp, I can’t wait to come back again.

The campsite was lovely. Michael was such a great host! He delivered wood and even started our fire for us Friday night when I didn’t have a lighter 😌 He told us where to start upstream for a paddling trip and also was welcoming and sweet to our dog. We plan on visiting again!

Our site, #2 Secluded Pond Oasis, at Clear Water Camp was absolutely perfect for us! The site was very large and very secluded and private. Our dogs were able to be off leash which was a HUGE perk for us and they LOVED being right on the water. The pond was clear and we had a lot of fun splashing around, kayaking, and fishing. We caught a few bass and a sunfish! The trails were well maintained and we enjoyed exploring the property. The clubhouse was well stocked with essentials and fun games and the porta-potties and shower were kept clean and were well lit at night. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience! Thank you, Adam and Jackie for sharing your little piece of paradise with us! We definitely plan to come back.

This was a beautiful camp. It was very secluded and the hosts were there for anything we needed. The rec room was far enough away that we would not have heard anything if people were there (but close enough to walk to easily.) There was only one slight negative, and that was a little bit of traffic that you could hear when the wind was still, usually in the evening. It was not enough to bother us, and we don’t like noise. There was also some kind of hum/roar in the early morning we couldn’t figure out. Farm equipment? That did bother us some, as it was during the quiet waking hours. It too was not loud or excessive, just noticeable above the birds. It’s really impossible to escape this little bit of noise unless you go up into the north woods, so the camp did meet our expectations and we would easily go back. Highly recommend.

Adam and Jackie are great hosts! And the campground is clean, quiet and peaceful. Wife, our boy and I spent a weekend at site 5 and it rained all day Saturday. We ended up spending the day in their garage that has music, adult beverages, food, and games. We met Adam and Jackie on Sunday, and they made sure we were satisfied, and told us to take our time and stay as long as we’d like before check out. Hands down we will return!

What an indescribably beautiful place on this sweet earth. Michael's land, a long strip of wooded shoreland on the Plover river, is one man's life's wo. It is a gorgeous mix of wild wonder and gentle landscaping. Michael is a wonderful host. He did all he could to make our stay as memorable as possible. I cannot recommend his little paradise more.

Had the honor of being the first visitors to this HipCamp! Michael was a great host and very open to feedback on how he can make the place even better for his guests. He has lots of ideas and is very excited to share this special place with others. The entire property is gorgeous and you can tell he has put a lot of effort into it. My dogs loved the easy access to the water and sniffing around the trails.
The HipCamp is right on the Plover River. Occasionally kayakers and canoes will pass by. The water is fairly shallow through there, so it was great for the dogs to play and for us humans to wade in. There are areas that get deeper as well and a place by the rapids you can sit and have the water rush around you like a whirlpool. Tubes and kayaks are also available to take on the river. We did a bit of floating down the river on the tubes!
Nice spacing between the sites. There is a central area between the sites with some games such as giant Jenga and disc golf. Firewood available to purchase onsite as well for a great price. The host, Michael, also has a small camper in this area but did not stay onsite, just came by to check on things and make sure we had everything we needed. Forgot to bring our tripod for cooking over the fire and he magically made one appear!
Can’t wait to see what else Michael has in store for the property. Will definitely be back again! Thank you for an amazing weekend!
