Back in the 1800s the land conditions were ideal for a raspberry farm. The original settler's barn and farmhouse were still standing in 1960 when our family obtained the land. Since then, old buildings have diminished back to Earth. What used to be a small creek is now a small pond and trout stream. We have a cabin, outhouse, outdoor shower and other camping accommodations depending on the camping experience you are looking for! Reconnect with nature, find your tranquility, enjoy the wildlife, be amazed by the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. There's swimming, or just relaxing here!

I'm located between Wisconsin Dells and Lyndon Station on a cozy little 3-acre corner lot at the intersection of Highway 12 and Oak Glen Circle. The property is mostly wooded with beautiful white oak trees that I've done my best to preserve. Each year, I welcome nesting bluebirds, robins, and ruby-throated hummingbirds. You'll also find several bird feeders that attract a wide variety of songbirds, along with squirrels, rabbits, and woodchucks that call the property home. Please note: I do have neighboring homes nearby, but it's a very quiet neighborhood of homeowners with no noisy renters. Please also note that as the host, I do live on property. I offer you your privacy but on occasion you may see me outside doing random chores on property. Please also note I have 2 dogs. They are very friendly animals and it's very possible at some point during your stay they may introduce themselves to you. Thankyou for understanding. Nearby Attractions Wisconsin Dells – Just 3 miles away, offering endless attractions, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. River Bay – Only 2 miles away, with Wisconsin River access and a public boat launch. Bring your boat and experience one of the best stretches of the Wisconsin River. The fishing is excellent, too. Dells Motor Speedway – Just 1 mile away. Races are held every Saturday night, and the speedway has a long history of racing tradition. It's always an exciting experience, and I've been attending since I was a kid. Chubby's Exotic Resort – Located just 1 mile away. Everyone is welcome. Chubby's is a premier club offering one of the best experiences of its kind in the state. The Edge – Located directly across the street from Chubby's, The Edge is family-friendly and features live music on weekends, along with a full food menu. Please contact them directly for more information. There's no shortage of things to do in the area. Wisconsin Dells offers a tremendous variety of attractions, restaurants, and outdoor recreation. I'm new to Hipcamp and am always looking for ways to improve the camping experience for my guests. Please take a look at the photos, and feel free to ask any questions—I’ll be happy to help however I can. I'm working hard to earn positive reviews and a 100% recommendation rate. If your experience doesn't meet your expectations, please let me know before leaving a review or recommendation so I have the opportunity to make things right with you. Thank you for reading! -Steve- 🔅If Oak Glen Hollow doesn't have what you're looking for try searching my friends at Bear Hill. They're good hosts too.🔅

There's 2 properties, both beautiful and special. ADDED AMENITIES!!! Shower available! Game Room!! Porta-potty/Outhouse!! Pedal boat on the pond!! AND visit the farm with the CUTEST farm babies!!!!! "The Twenty" is a neat campsite right on the Little Wolf River. This land has been in my family for generations. My dad tells stories of fishing the holes while they made hay when he was a kid. Definitely fishing opportunities, as well as floating down the river (tube, canoe, kayak, sup). There's a nice swimming hole right out from the campsite. The other property is on my pasture-based farm. It's a few miles from the Little Wolf. There is the "FarmStay" Camper, as well as a couple campsites nestled in the woods with a great views of the pastures, woods, and wetlands. We've also recently added a pond that's able to be used by our guests to swim in! There are 100+ acres that can explored on this 100% pasture-based beef operation. We're working on improving the trails. It's beautiful out there! Farm tours and canoe/tube rental available. The surrounding area has a TON of activities to offer for water fun and exploring! Feel free to ask! HipCamp STAR Host!!! woohoo!

Lakeside Cozy Camp — Your Own Private Acre Near Big Hills Lake Looking for a simple, peaceful place to camp with easy access to the lake? Welcome to Lakeside Cozy Camp! Our campsite sits on a private, wooded one-acre property directly across the street from Big Hills Lake. You’ll have the entire acre to yourself, with plenty of room to relax, explore, set up your tent, or bring a small camper or RV. 🌲 A private property — but not a remote campsite The campsite itself is tucked into the trees, giving you your own space and a peaceful wooded atmosphere. There are no other campers sharing the property, so you won't be camping in a campground or next to another tent. We want to be completely transparent about what to expect: this is a private acre, but it is not a secluded or remote wilderness campsite. Although there are many mature and towering trees, you may occasionally see or hear our neighbor, especially during busy summer weekends. If you're looking for a private place to enjoy the outdoors without needing complete isolation, this could be a great fit. 🚣 Big Hills Lake is right across the street One of the best parts of staying here is the easy access to Big Hills Lake. The public boat launch and recreation area are directly across the street, giving you convenient access to: • Boat launching • Fishing • Swimming • Kayaking & paddleboarding • Ice fishing and winter lake activities • A public dock • Public restrooms You’ll need to cross the road to access the lake, but it's just a short walk from the property. 🔥 Your campsite The property is a simple, rustic camping experience surrounded by mature trees. You'll have access to: • Private one-acre property • Fire pit • Firewood • Picnic table • Flat camping area • Space for tents • Space for camper vans and smaller RVs • Pet-friendly property • Outdoor solar string lights There is no electricity, potable water, shower, or private toilet on the property, so please come prepared for primitive camping. A public restroom is available at the recreation area across the street. 🐕 Bring your dog Dogs are welcome to enjoy the property with you. Because this is a wooded property near a road and neighboring homes, please be respectful of property boundaries and keep an eye on your pets. 🌲 A simple Northwoods getaway Lakeside Cozy Camp is best suited for campers who enjoy the simple side of camping — sitting around a fire, exploring the woods, spending the day on the lake, and coming back to a quiet campsite at night. We're close to snowmobile trails, hiking, fishing, boating and Nordic Mountain, making this a convenient home base for outdoor adventures in the area.
