Ever want to leave your job and unite with nature? Me too, after 10-plus years of tax preparation, I found myself with a desire to farm and to become closer to the food we take for granted. This farm is unique in that it was cleared and stripped of its topsoil and its fill was sold off to the state. What was left behind was a pond and some poor farmland. I purchased this less desirable property inexpensively and have been working tirelessly to regenerate the property to a farm that mimics nature and our natural ecosystem. I have planted over 1000 trees and perennial shrubs to move this property into an oak savannah-like natural farming system. In 2015 I purchased this property without any farming experience and have begun to transform this property into a beautiful destination. There's 2 properties, both beautiful and special.
"The Twenty" is a neat campsite right on the Little Wolf River. This land has been in my family for generations. My dad tells stories of fishing the holes while they made hay when he was a kid. Definitely fishing opportunities, as well as floating down the river (tube, canoe, kayak, sup). There's a nice swimming hole right out from the campsite.
The other property is on my pasture-based farm. It's a few miles from the Little Wolf. There is the "FarmStay" Camper, as well as a couple campsites nestled in the woods with a great views of the pastures, woods, and wetlands.
We've also recently added a pond that's able to be used by our guests to swim in!
There are 100+ acres that can explored on this 100% pasture-based beef operation. We're working on improving the trails. It's beautiful out there!
Farm tours and canoe/tube rental available.
The surrounding area has a TON of activities to offer for water fun and exploring! Feel free to ask!

A couple of the sites are more remote than others by design. Not all can be driven up to. The furthest would be approximately a 500’ walk. A wagon is available to carry your items to your site.

Each site has its own fire pit with a cooking grate. Firewood available for purchase on site.

What a cozy, snowy retreat at the G Farm. I was looking for picturesque solitude and I got it!
The tiny house was perfect for just me and my watercolor paints. The space heater kept me plenty warm even though it seems that we are actually having a proper winter this year in Wisconsin. Comfy, cozy, and very private.

Peaceful Getaway on Beautiful Green Lake 🌿
We loved our stay at this cozy cabin on Green Lake! The cabin was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for our family. The hosts thought of everything — from a welcoming coffee and snack basket to fire pits already prepped for us. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, walking the peaceful paths, and relaxing under the stars at night. The property is absolutely beautiful and well cared for. A wonderful mix of comfort and nature — we can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely loved staying here. The cabin is great and looking out and seeing the water and the dock is a great way to start the day. The dogs loved the water and exploring. Cabin and amenities were clean and as depicted. We were comfortable as a family of four at the cabin and campground. We enjoyed having the fire pit and chairs (we didn’t find matches but brought our own). The weather didn’t cooperate but the dock and kayaks were really neat and we wish we had stayed an extra day. We thought the grounds and chapel were great and we anticipate coming back again :)

Weekend Trip to The G Farm
I had a great time at their farm. The cabin is perfect for one or two campers and there’s plenty of room for another tent or two as well. There’s a good size fire pit and a couple different docks to enjoy the view of the pond. There’s also canoes and a paddle boat for use with life jackets available as well. They have everything you need available, and a great farm store for any food you might have forgotten to pack. They encourage you to roam around the property and there’s a lot of great stuff to see. I think it’s really great that they were able to set this piece of their property aside to share with anyone trying to get away for some peace and relaxation. They’re also doing some really great restorative work on the land that’s interesting to hear about. I loved my weekend here and I’ll definitely be back again!

We had an amazing time with the dogs. Lake was a short walk down the road. Not far. Very secluded, just what we needed for our holliday weekend. The bed was very soft, and anything we needed was there at camp. We definitely over packed. Would recommend to anyone.

Great spot, site owner has everything you need, worms, fire wood, porta potty, little cabin, and Hugh bluegill in pond that are a blast to fight with.
Well maintained, all functional amenities if you use them.
Five star rating all around.
May not be big enough for like a 30 ft rv unless you got some good backing up skills.
But little 16-20ft rvs should fit in just fine.
I had a little 8 ft gear trailer and I had tons of room.

This place is a hidden gem! Roy provided a boat and firewood, which is super convenient. Roy was really friendly and showed me around the property. The only downside was the mosquitoes and bugs, but that’s just the price you pay for a spot on water. So don’t forget to bring bug spray, though! Overall, I can’t complain it’s a beautiful property and a great stay.

Our family had a great time on our weekend glamping trip on Ms. Rachel’s farm. Gracious hospitality and my kids enjoyed the farm tour and animals. We went on the trails on the farm and swam in the river with the tubes.
