5 Secluded Acres on River

Property located on end of 80 acre field away from any homes really secluded and on the river, also about 1/2 mile from DOOR County!!!

This is a 5-acre parcel located along the Ahnapee river and only 1/2 mile from DOOR COUNTY which is great for canoe, kayak and fishing with a easterly exposure to see the sun rise over the river. Located about 1500 feet down a gravel lane with secluded campsite for your party only. River has salmon September, October and December with good fishing for pan fish, pickerel, trout at other times of the year.. Fire ring with wood provided for one night. Complete privacy with fantastic view of the river and no one living nearby. this site can only accomodate a small camper or tent camping as its really secluded and a little tricky for anything big to get to the site......ahnapee trail for bike riding on other side of river for walking or riding a bike, also property has access to river for kayak or canoe, will meet camper in little town of Forestville to lead to site.........Also a port a potty has been added to property...….Just wanted to add a great place to bring your dog and let him run...….also fish are really biting this year have been getting some nice northern pike and the salmon start in early October...…..located just past 9470 Elder drive, you will pass a farm house with garage near road, has a painted flag on car hood, turn down two track gravel lane for about 500 yards or so and a deer stand turn left on gravel drive to site........I will usually meet you in Forestville to lead to site and show you around.....but if not available you will find it......also picnic table at site...added a large sail to help on sunny days for shade.....I have two kayaks and a boat, canoe and added a paddle boat  for people to use when you are camping with life jackets.also added a badminton set this year....small turtle sand box for the little ones.....also a great place to bring your dog friends, they will love it!!! Also a special thankyou to all the campers that loaded up pictures of their stay last summer, they are all great!!!! Due to comments from some of the campers that were at my campsite at other times I have decided to have two day camping on weekends, thanks for the comments...I had the turn in to the campsite enlarged for this summer also.....The road to the campsite is narrow for large vehicles, I cut alot of the branches but It is hard for larger than 20foot campers to be able to easily get to the site.....

The G Farm

Ever want to leave your job and unite with nature? Me too, after 10-plus years of tax preparation, I found myself with a desire to farm and to become closer to the food we take for granted. This farm is unique in that it was cleared and stripped of its topsoil and its fill was sold off to the state. What was left behind was a pond and some poor farmland. I purchased this less desirable property inexpensively and have been working tirelessly to regenerate the property to a farm that mimics nature and our natural ecosystem. I have planted over 1000 trees and perennial shrubs to move this property into an oak savannah-like natural farming system. In 2015 I purchased this property without any farming experience and have begun to transform this property into a beautiful destination. We look forward to seeing you and welcoming you into our ecosystem.

Koeller Century Farm

The farm has been in the family for four generations.
 We don't have any livestock anymore and rent the fields to the neighbors but the home, outbuildings and five acres are well-loved and used as our home base and also for rustic weddings, graduation parties, reunions and barn dances.
In 1974, the farm was used as the location for the TV movie "Things in Their Season" starring Patricia O'Neal.
We put up one of the first barn quilts in the county and are on the route of the Bike the Barn Quilts bike ride (held last Saturday in September.)

Pitch your tent or roll your RV up to a beautiful farmstead (we no longer have animals, crops only).  We are a rustic wedding / event venue located mid-way on the Mountain Bay Trail, Wisconsin's longest rail-trail which runs about 90 miles from Weston to Green Bay.   Fire pit available.  Views of farmland all around.  Quiet and peaceful but not secluded.   (See pictures on Facebook Country Events at the Koeller Century Farm.) You can move tent into the machine shed (wood chip floor) during severe weather.  There are electrical outlets to use to re-charge devices.

Just 10 miles from Oshkosh, enjoy popular events such as EAA, Country USA and Rock USA while avoiding the hustle and bustle. Centrally located between the beautiful Green Lake and Lake Winnebago, just 4 miles from a Fox River boat launch. Minutes away from other local attractions such as the Mascoutin Valley State Trail (walking, biking, horse back riding, snowmobiling), Vines and Rushes Winery, Pure Class Distillery, historic downtown Ripon and the famous Princeton Flea Market. Plenty of room and multiple entries for ease of maneuverability for any size vehicle. 
A little over 1.5 acres of mostly flat field gives a lot of available space for boondocking.

After purchasing the 'Feest Farm' 18 years ago I dedicated time to create an oasis of gardens and meadows that has become my personal sanctuary.  My hopes are that visitors enjoy all aspects of my property as much as I do.

You can choose to set up camp in the meadow or in the open field area.  In the meadow you will find paths that you can stroll through throughout the property where you can you bird watch and observe Wisconsin's natural prairie and vegetation.  The open field area provides more room whether it's to throw a frisbee, bask in the sun or play some competitive yard games with your family and friends.  Regardless of where you set up camp, you can enjoy your morning coffee in the secret flower garden or a nightcap next to the fire under the grape covered arbor while watching the night stars.  Feeling adventurous?  The Ahnapee trail is an old railroad trail that is now a hiking and biking path that extends from Sturgeon Bay to Kewaunee.  The Ahnapee Trail is 1.5 miles down the road.  Also located within miles is the Ahnapee River, which is ideal for canoeing and kayaking.

Plenty of room to set up a tent, play frisbee, corn hole and relax.
