Ever want to leave your job and unite with nature? Me too, after 10-plus years of tax preparation, I found myself with a desire to farm and to become closer to the food we take for granted. This farm is unique in that it was cleared and stripped of its topsoil and its fill was sold off to the state. What was left behind was a pond and some poor farmland. I purchased this less desirable property inexpensively and have been working tirelessly to regenerate the property to a farm that mimics nature and our natural ecosystem. I have planted over 1000 trees and perennial shrubs to move this property into an oak savannah-like natural farming system. In 2015 I purchased this property without any farming experience and have begun to transform this property into a beautiful destination. We look forward to seeing you and welcoming you into our ecosystem.

One of my favorite home away from home’s. This property will help you reground and connect with nature. I have added the necessities of life, while keeping the property as natural as possible. My goal is to share this great experience I’ve created with you and your family. From the outdoor shower to the walking trails that weave through the woods and over Tibbet Creek you will love your stay! A couple of the sites are more remote than others by design. Not all can be driven up to. The furthest would be approximately a 500’ walk. A wagon is available to carry your items to your site. There is a large pond if you would like to fish or swim, and a John boat and a paddle boat to use also. Each site has its own fire pit with a cooking grate. Firewood available for purchase on site. Most sites are set with views of a water feature. Some tents are available to rent if you don’t have your own.

There's 2 properties, both beautiful and special. "The Twenty" is a neat campsite right on the Little Wolf River. This land has been in my family for generations. My dad tells stories of fishing the holes while they made hay when he was a kid. Definitely fishing opportunities, as well as floating down the river (tube, canoe, kayak, sup). There's a nice swimming hole right out from the campsite. The other property is on my pasture-based farm. It's a few miles from the Little Wolf. There is the "FarmStay" Camper, as well as a couple campsites nestled in the woods with a great views of the pastures, woods, and wetlands. We've also recently added a pond that's able to be used by our guests to swim in! There are 100+ acres that can explored on this 100% pasture-based beef operation. We're working on improving the trails. It's beautiful out there! Farm tours and canoe/tube rental available. The surrounding area has a TON of activities to offer for water fun and exploring! Our private property has an elevation of approximately 907’ft, adjacent to what was formerly known as Mount Le Bett ski hill. Our land has been family owned for 50 years. Our wooded acres property with trails for hiking, horseback riding and you can bring your ATV/UTV to hit the Oconto trails. Our place its perfect place to relax and connect with nature. Find Morels mushrooms, pick blueberries, peaches and apples...when in season. You are welcome to try mountain biking. With access to Mc Donald creek you can also enjoy some trout fishing. We are located 5 minutes from Kelly Lake, and Ross Lake. Spend the day in the woods relaxing, take your boat or kayaks to a near by lake. Cookout, hangout enjoy our woods. Our property offers a variety of activities. We welcome horses (with recent coggings) ATV and UTVs will be able to access the county ATV and UTV trails. (ATV and UTVs will be allowed to run in/out to the trails from our property. Not ridding on our trails We asked that our guest are considerate of our family and other campers. With a lot of ground you can choose from rolling your tent, hammock, RV or stay at our primitive tiny home. All fires will be contained and in designated area only. We follow Oconto County DNR fire guidelines.

I loved camping here. It is a very safe and private camping experience with cozy accommodations and a beautiful view. The golden hour over the pond was spectacular. I took many naps and enjoyed my solitude.

Absolutely loved staying here. The cabin is great and looking out and seeing the water and the dock is a great way to start the day. The dogs loved the water and exploring. Great fire pit with cooking great, made an excellent steak on it. Will definitely be back next year! Thank you for a great weekend!

Really lovely environment! The cottage is perfect for 3 of us + our dogs. A nice reprieve from tenting! Outdoor space is large with firepit, table and some chairs. Rob was attentive with communications and making sure all was good. We would stay here again!

Weekend Trip to The G Farm

I had a great time at their farm. The cabin is perfect for one or two campers and there’s plenty of room for another tent or two as well. There’s a good size fire pit and a couple different docks to enjoy the view of the pond. There’s also canoes and a paddle boat for use with life jackets available as well. They have everything you need available, and a great farm store for any food you might have forgotten to pack. They encourage you to roam around the property and there’s a lot of great stuff to see. I think it’s really great that they were able to set this piece of their property aside to share with anyone trying to get away for some peace and relaxation. They’re also doing some really great restorative work on the land that’s interesting to hear about. I loved my weekend here and I’ll definitely be back again!

Weekend Trip to Corner Creek Ranch

If you’re a HipCamper reading this and the listing is still available, book it right now! The tiny house rental exceded my groups expectations in every way. The tiny house itself is nicer inside than expected and thoughtfully built. The hot outdoor shower felt amazing on a cool night after spending the day hiking. The stars on this property are the best I’ve seen in all of Wisconsin, we all saw multiple shooting stars each night. The hosts kept us well stocked with firewood and their farm fresh eggs. Randy and Alnilda are really cool and kind folks. They really cared about how we were doing and enjoying our stay. They made our weekend trip the best it could have been.

Great spot, site owner has everything you need, worms, fire wood, porta potty, little cabin, and Hugh bluegill in pond that are a blast to fight with. Well maintained, all functional amenities if you use them. Five star rating all around. May not be big enough for like a 30 ft rv unless you got some good backing up skills. But little 16-20ft rvs should fit in just fine. I had a little 8 ft gear trailer and I had tons of room.

This place is a hidden gem! Roy provided a boat and firewood, which is super convenient. Roy was really friendly and showed me around the property. The only downside was the mosquitoes and bugs, but that’s just the price you pay for a spot on water. So don’t forget to bring bug spray, though! Overall, I can’t complain it’s a beautiful property and a great stay.

Our family had a great time on our weekend glamping trip on Ms. Rachel’s farm. Gracious hospitality and my kids enjoyed the farm tour and animals. We went on the trails on the farm and swam in the river with the tubes.
