We offer 2 unique rentals located just minutes from Seneca Rocks, WV. The Renovated Barn is an actual barn, located on a little farm, complete with farm animals! A slice of paradise tucked into the hills of the valley and nestled up against the Shenandoah river with private access. Neighboring Muse vineyards, the state park and a 3 min drive to town. It's the perfect getaway and also an excellent hub to loads of fun nearby. If you're interested in renting it out privately and throwing a weekend fiesta, let me know. It's perfect for that. Or if you just prefer the sound and serenity of nature, also perfect. Late August to mid September is when the PawPaw's are ripe and readily falling from the trees, booking during these times grants you access to the one of nature's best kept secrets, the Paw Paw fruit. You won't find them in stores but you can graze for them here. They make a delicious second breakfast Come enjoy. I'm always in the process of making and clearing more campsites around the property. For anyone interested in earning a little extra stay time please ask about helping me clear and working for some compensated time. As everyone who contributes something will be earning a place here in the heart of the farm. It's magical and I hope to share the magic with all who wish to behold. All walks of life are welcomed. Such a beautiful campsite. The sounds of the creek while you sleep along with star gazing at night while enjoying the fire was wonderful. We also had our puppy with us. She loved the open fields and was so curious about the adorable sheep in the property. Our host also was very attentive and he checked on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. We did leave early because of the impending rain storm coming but would have loved to stay longer. We are already planning a 2nd trip and will bring friends along.

We had an incredible weekend at Jim’s property! If you are looking for absolute privacy and a true 'back to nature' feel, this is the spot. Being the only ones on the property made for a very peaceful and secluded stay. Jim was a fantastic host—super friendly, welcoming, and very willing to help us navigate the terrain and get our 20-foot pop-up camper set up. While the drive-in can be a bit of a challenge for a 20-foot rig, we made it work, and Jim’s help was invaluable in getting us settled. The location is perfect: extremely private, yet only about 25 minutes away from Winchester, VA, which has some great restaurants. Highly recommend this site if you value privacy and getting back to nature. Thanks for a great weekend, Jim!

Lived the glamping experience. Jeremy and Remy have the place ready keeping all needs of customers in mind right from firewood to morning coffee. Yummy Breakfast is available upon request also. Mark and his son Sidney were great hosts. My husband and I joked that we got the honeymoon suite. Hot tub under the stars with the sounds of running water close made it romantic There are a few small cooking utensils provided but I would recommend bringing your favorite cook wear for camping. Weekend Trip to Our Farm in Strasburg, VA

I stayed at this farm for a unique getaway and booked the Half Dome, and right from the start you can tell there is real care put into the experience. The dome itself was spotless, thoughtfully set up, and had that perfect mix of rustic feel with comfort. You can tell the hosts pay attention to the little things, and that goes a long way. That said, the bed placement was the one miss for me. It blocked what should have been one of the best features the view. It was a bit of a letdown not being able to fully enjoy that from inside, especially in a space designed around the outdoors. During the day, the dome does warm up pretty quickly. There are ventilation portals that help with airflow, but on a hotter day you will definitely feel it. It was manageable, just something to plan around if you are staying in warmer weather. We took a look inside the Fall Dome while we were there, and honestly, that would be my next booking without hesitation. It is noticeably larger and feels more like a suite than a tent, giving you more space to relax and spread out. Breakfast was a highlight. The popovers and scones were excellent, and the coffee was clearly crafted with care. It felt like a small but meaningful touch that elevated the whole stay. And then there was the real star of the show the family dog. Friendly, comforting, and exactly what we needed since we had to leave our own pups at home. That connection added something special you just do not get at most places.

We had such a wonderful time at the farm. Trevor is a terrific host and readily available if you have any questions or concerns. Muse vineyard is a short walk from the campsite and is dog friendly. River access is very close to the campsite and easily accessible. Town is close (5 min drive) if you need to restock any supplies. Finding the farm can be a little tricky as navigation doesn’t always find the correct (apple map had wrong location but Google Maps had the correct location), but Trevor made sure he was available to make sure we arrived safely without any issues. We camped with our Labrador Retriever, Enzo. He had a great time in the river and relaxing at the campsite. I highly recommend staying at the farm and we will be back again soon. Thank you Trevor

Great place. Very secluded. Bathroom was clean. No luck with fishing but not a big deal. Dogs loved being off leash. If you have a dog that loves to find cow poop be prepared. There was no cow poop at site or path to bathroom though. Didn't smell at all.
