Rural farm camp in Yakima's west valley. This relaxed campsite is bordered by fruit orchards and farms on a very quiet dead end road. Over two acres of field grass surrounding by rolling hills with views of farms, cows, horses, and the eastern foothills of the Cascade mountains.
There is a 1/2 acre pond on the camp property with frogs, turtles, wild birds and wild ducks and geese drop in all the time. Very quiet and peaceful out here, the frogs will sing you to sleep and that's about the only sound you will hear.
There is power and water hooks up at 2 of 3 camp sites. Multiple tent sites , restroom available
Two large and level RV spots are graveled and can accommodate your 5th wheel, diesel pusher, trailer or toy hauler. The third RV/camp spot is grass but also large and level. This grass spot is dry camping but water is available from nearby spigot and a generator is also available for rent at $20/night.
Forgot your wood? No problem, firewood is always available $ 5.00/bundle. There are fire rings at each site for your use (unless burn ban in effect)
Camp host always has plenty of S'mores supplies (complimentary of course) for that campfire treat. :)

Kayaking, paddle boarding, river rafting, and jet skiing all easy drive from this camp. Own a boat or jet ski? bring it, plenty of space to park your boat and watercraft trailer.
If you are into quads, motorcycle riding or 4x4 off-roading this place is perfect. There are forest service roads and trail riding nearby. Jeep and off road groups come from all over the state to ride in the foothills, just 30 minutes away.
Winter time campers are welcome too!
Winter access is easy, county road to entrance of Hipcamp is plowed by county road crews and as host I have tractor 🚜 to plow the camp area prior to your arrival.
Snowmobiles are welcome in winter and you get a reduced nightly rate. Ride and play in the snow around the camp property or drive 20 minutes to foothills with trails and forestry roads open to sleds. Bring the whole group, plenty of room on this property for as many as 20 rigs and trailers.

(Please note: Although we are a permaculture farm, we are surrounded by both conventional and organic agriculture.) Close to White Pass and the Tieton, Naches and Yakima rivers. The cabin (Cathaus) is part of our local agricultural history. It was built in the 1964 by my grandfather to house migrant workers during apple picking season and that is how it was used until the late 1980s. It is not fancy, but it is cozy. We live in a beautiful location! The main attraction is the outdoors. The large Ponderosa pines and oak trees surrounding the safari tent fill the air with a scent that some say smells like vanilla. Birds chirp, deer graze, and squirrels gather food throughout the day. Sit on the porch and watch it all happen—it truly is relaxing!
I want to mention that the stargazing here is amazing! Simply press the power button on the back of the solar panel to turn off the lights for a better view of the night sky. Please turn them back on when you're finished, if you remember.
Be sure to visit Goldendale Observatory. It boasts one of the largest public telescopes in the nation, and admission is free.

What makes this cabin cool? Well, it is a retired DNR fire watch cabin! The cabin is as original as can be! Equipped with battery operated and solar lights along with propane heat! Porta potty right next to it for your use! There is a full bathroom and amenities to include fridge, microwave, coffee pot and air fryer just a short walk away! Dishes are not included and cooking utensils are very limited.
Winter sports galore up here right now! Cross country skiing, snow shoeing, ample parking for snow mobile trailers! OR bring your favorite book and come enjoy a peaceful restful weekend!
Springtime is a gorgeous time of year up here and turkey season is a favorite! Ample room for boats/trailers if you are considering hitting Drano lake for some springer salmon fishing! It is apx 30 minutes away.
In the summertime come up and enjoy the hiking! Sleeping Beauty trail is just a few minutes away and you are within 30 minutes or Hood River if you are looking to explore and check out wineries. There are cheese caves, ice caves, Goose Lake, Council Lake and so much more!
Fall is one of my favorite seasons! Hood River fishery has been amazing and the fall colors can't be beat!
There is a fire pit and campfires are welcome when there is not a burn ban.
Trout Lake Inn is a local favorite up here and check their Facebook to see what live entertainment they have coming up.
Pets are welcome - please make sure they are well behaved and are kept close to the cabin. I do have my own friendly dogs (Ruby and Muskett) on the property, but they do not have access to the cabin area.

Parking is ample within steps of each of the cabins and is more than big enough to fit snowmobile trailers, horse trailers, RVs, or any other toys you may want to bring along for your trip.
Trout Lake Cozy Cabins was formerly known as Serenity's, named after the restaurant that sat on the property. The Restaurant burned down a number of years ago. Since the restaurant building was rebuilt, we have been excited to have Mt. Adams Pizza on our property for the last 4 years. There are also a number of places to eat within a mile of the cabins including Mount Adams Pizza, the Trout Lake Hall, Post Office Coffee, and the Station Cafe.
The Mount Adams Ranger District is a great resource for additional information about the area and recreational activities. Of course, having grown up in the area, we are always happy to answer any questions you may have or provide you with a "local's" tip/suggestions. Don't be shy, we are very friendly people and will go out of our way to make sure you have a memorable stay with us!

We had a wonderful stay at Starlit Glamping! The RV was spotless, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. The hosts were incredibly kind, helpful, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
The campground was quiet and peaceful and the perfect place to relax. One of our favorite parts was watching the deer wander through the area while we enjoyed some time in the hammock.
We had such a great experience and would absolutely recommend Starlit Glamping to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

This place is epic! So quiet & good vibes all around. Hosts are so lovely & we are definitely coming back. Did an evening tub soak & experienced Forest bathing at its finest. Nothing better than sitting in a warm tub watching the sunset thru the trees.

This place was so cute and my friends and family loved it! The play area for my 3 year old is perfect and the pond is so precious! Paul is a great host and accomidated us in many ways. I will be back!

1 night at Cottonwood Country Camp
Very peaceful and beautiful place to camp! Earplugs came in handy for the bullfrogs haha. The pond and wildlife were lovely and the host was so nice !! Great to have access to a bathroom as well

Great tiny cabin with a cozy, comfortable bed. We really liked how open air it was with the hinged window/wall open during the day, but it also felt well-enclosed at night. The campground as a whole had lots of amenities provided, like soap and dishtowels at the shared sink, and paper towels, lanterns and bug spray in the cabin. I also appreciated that the grounds were well lit. One negative was that the flap over the window was blowing in the window overnight and was pretty noisy, but it was quite windy, so I'm not sure if it's usually a problem. We really liked it and would stay there again, hopefully for longer.

Starlight Glamping was Amazing, Andrea & her husband were great the tent had a heater for the chilly mornings and a table top Blackstone griddle with all the utensils, shower worked great plenty of hot water. The night sky there is breath taking.... 5 stars (really 2 trillion stars per the Goldendale observatory)... Darren
