The property makes a great base camp for exploring the area. Centrally located to all the Pacific NW has to offer including: Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Mt. Rainer National Park, Ohanapecosh, Packwood Lake, White Pass Ski Area and so much more. While you feel like you've stepped away from it all, you're only a 4.5 miles from the amenities of downtown Packwood, including restaurants, breweries, groceries and gas etc. Located in HV #10 neighborhood. Please do not park in front of or block the shop doors. Our site is designed for one party but will accommodate an additional 2 RV’s. This is the perfect spot for family and friends to get together. This property has three 30 amp 120 volt receptacles one for each RV/pay per hookup/per night. As there are NO bathroom facilities on the property, tents MUST be in conjunction with an RV that has an indoor toilet/shower (no outdoor showering). NO TENT ONLY camping. This place was lovely! We went so wee could go to the goldendale observatory to catch the meteor showers, and the stars out there are incredible. We also got some pastries at the Greek Orthodox Bakery which were delicious, and checked out the Stonehenge and the Maryhill art museum along with exploring more spots along the Columbia. There’s so much to see here! I love how they have set it up. When we stayed it was a hot weekend (105 degrees!) and so I’m so glad we stayed here instead of in a tent, the bed and the couch were comfortable, there was everything we needed inside and it cooled down enough at night with the windows open (yay for screens on the windows for bugs!) that we could all sleep! I’ve already recommended this beautiful spot to some family and friends.

Packwood was the perfect base camp for exploring Mount Rainier National Park. Our spot was clean and level. The first night there was another guest in the first space, and it was tight. After that we had the place to ourselves, and it was perfect. Highly suggest the hike to Packwood Lake and visiting Packwood Brewing and Packwood Mercantile in addition to the National Park.

This was a great site to stay for a couple of days while we explored the area! It’s only a short drive from Mt Rainier National Park and we found some great hiking trails in the national forest. The host, Zach, was very nice and responded to any questions we had very quickly. He also recommended a great kid friendly brewery to us just down the street with a delicious Thai food truck. The site was beautiful, with a gazebo, lots of shady grass for our kids to play and a nice level spot for our trailer. Everything, including the hookups, is brand new at the site and I would highly recommend to anyone driving through Packwood!

The place is amazing. Where you trade traffic noise for wind blowing through branches. Trade fir for oaks… so many oaks. Buildings for clouds. What a view from the bedroom! Kitchen equipped. Just super fun and relaxing. Dog was wired when she arrived. 10/10 getaway.
