Surrounded by fields of peppermint, Concord grapes, and a variety of crops within walking distance it is a fertile paradise. Wineries are located up and down the Valley and people drive 100s of miles to do wine tours. This small 25-acre ranch is just in the early stages of development. We are repairing fences and watering. I just added solar power and several electrical upgrades for RV's. The property has a 2000 feet of grass runway with an airplane hangar, so you could fly it if you have a STOHL airplane. The irrigation pond/pond yard area is currently available for camping. Many wineries, brewies and outdoor activities available in the area. Children can help feed or water the pigs and perhaps the chickens. Be aware though when piglets are around at times they are very small and are amazing escaped artists so do not keep food out unless you want to try and pet one they are friendly. We are more than happy to help suggest wineries and brewies in the area or enjoy the bar area we have! We offer several campsites as well as an in-ground greenhouse as listings. Guests love staying with us: "The pond at Willow Barn Ranch was picturesque. Show us around the property. It's very quiet and peaceful, and you can tell you take good care of your land. Wide open spaces." Please be aware that we do not allow parking on grass without explicit permission which is always handled on site. Vehicles will most likely not be permitted on the grass itself with rare exceptions.

Great time here at the Hay farm! Shane had recommendations for restaurants in town. Easy to back in with LOTS of room for maneuvering your rig. Leveled spots. Easy hook ups (water/power) and trash near the entrance at the silo. In the evening we saw 2 barn owls up in the barn. So cool! With T Mobile had max bars so service wasn’t an issue. There’s a pond around the corner worth checking out! Also areas @ the farm to walk your pups.

We tent camped for 5 nights. David, who goes by Paul greeted us & gave us the run down. The pond is alive with all sorts of life, so it makes for a wonderful eyeful/earful of nature. There's even Allison who is a very friendly goose! The bathroom is a bit of a walk up the hill, but perfectly doable. There are night lights around the property & is a very safe environment.

Michael was welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. The site was clean and easy to park in. Several quail sat on the fence and welcomed me as I ate dinner in the van.

Great place with lots of shade and an amazing little creek flowing right out your door that sounds just like a waterfall, so relaxing! Dogs loved it too they had plenty of space to watch the chickens, ducks and run around! Oh and listening to the frogs at night! I will definitely stay again! Weekend Trip to Brown Barrel TC

Camping on Kara's land was a very pleasant surprise. We were in the Tri-cities to see our granddaughter play soccer and needed a place not too far from the sports complex to park our teardrop trailer. Brown Barrel turned out to be perfect for us. It is in a suburban area, but the spot, which is right next to a creek, is private and quiet. We slept well to the sound of the flowing water; we brought our own water and camp toilet since there is no restroom nor is there potable water available at the site. There is power, so we were able to plug in the trailer; a real advantage. Nearby are many dining options. We drove a few miles to Badger mountain for a late afternoon hike which was wonderful. We will return the next time we come to the Tri-cities.
