Our farm is located in the center of the Yakima Valley in Southeastern Washington State. The physical address is 3510 Scoon Road Sunnyside, Washington. The Valley is known as the fruit bowl of the nation. The site is located on a farm that has been in production on the Roza slope 4 miles north of Sunnyside since 1945. Surrounded by fields of peppermint, Concord grapes, and a variety of crops within walking distance it is a fertile paradise. The Yakima Valley has thousands of acres of wine grapes, hops, apples, cherries, pears, peaches, and vegetables. Wineries are located up and down the Valley and people drive 100s of miles to do wine tours. Several microbreweries are also accessible and within 50 miles to the west you’ll be in premier hiking in the Cascades. When arriving or at departure please make sure the padlocks on both man gate and drive in gates are UNLOCKED. Thank you

This small 25-acre ranch is just in the early stages of development. We are repairing fences and watering. I just added solar power and several electrical upgrades for RV's. The property has a 2000 feet of grass runway with an airplane hangar, so you could fly it if you have a STOHL airplane. The irrigation pond/pond yard area is currently available for camping. Many wineries, brewies and outdoor activities available in the area. Children can help feed or water the pigs and perhaps the chickens. Be aware though when piglets are around at times they are very small and are amazing escaped artists so do not keep food out unless you want to try and pet one they are friendly. We are more than happy to help suggest wineries and brewies in the area or enjoy the bar area we have! We offer several campsites as well as an in-ground greenhouse as listings. Guests love staying with us: "The pond at Willow Barn Ranch was picturesque. Show us around the property. It's very quiet and peaceful, and you can tell you take good care of your land. Wide open spaces." Please be aware that we do not allow parking on grass without explicit permission which is always handled on site. Vehicles will most likely not be permitted on the grass itself with rare exceptions.

Grassy area with trees on the bank of the Yakima River. Quiet and peaceful. Fully functional air conditioned restrooms. Private outdoor shower. Complimentary coffee and hot chocolate station on site. Small campfires are allowed all year in designated spots. There are mosquitos so be prepared for that! During the summer months, the Yakima River is perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding, canoeing, float tubes, or just swimming. Catfish and bass are the main fish here and fishing is good most of the time. Here's a video to help you arrive! https://youtu.be/ZBGlRC84p7g?si=UX2YKyVP0YEft4GF

Rural farm camp in Yakima's west valley. This relaxed campsite is bordered by fruit orchards and farms on a very quiet dead end road. Over two acres of field grass surrounding by rolling hills with views of farms, cows, horses, and the eastern foothills of the Cascade mountains. There is a 1/2 acre pond on the camp property with frogs, turtles, wild birds and wild ducks and geese drop in all the time. Very quiet and peaceful out here, the frogs will sing you to sleep and that's about the only sound you will hear. There is power and water hooks up at 2 of 3 camp sites. Multiple tent sites , restroom available Two large and level RV spots are graveled and can accommodate your 5th wheel, diesel pusher, trailer or toy hauler. The third RV/camp spot is grass but also large and level. This grass spot is dry camping but water is available from nearby spigot and a generator is also available for rent at $20/night. Forgot your wood? No problem, firewood is always available $ 5.00/bundle. There are fire rings at each site for your use (unless burn ban in effect) Camp host always has plenty of S'mores supplies (complimentary of course) for that campfire treat. :) Visit our hen house! We have laying hens with fresh eggs daily for your breakfast. Bring the kids, wooden play structure and swing set are ready for family fun. Learn more about this land: PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING We have a small area in our Alpaca pasture designated for campers. We are a short drive (2miles) to down town Hermiston. Our ranch has been here since the 1940's and has decreased in size since its days as a potato farm. The Alpacas are shy but curious. They are not dangerous but do not like dogs 🐕‍🦺 and other small animals. (Please keep pets on a leash) We remove the Alpacas and mow the camping areas but please keep in mind that this is a pasture that is used when campers are not present. Please be prepared. This is a working ranch and there will be animals🦙 , bugs🐜 , and poop💩 in the pasture. River Front Park on the Umatilla River is within walking distance and the Columbia River is a short drive. In the summer we have several farms in the area with fresh produce for sale and  Blueberry picking just down the road. You won't want to leave town without picking up a world famous Hermiston Watermelon! Come stay with us "Where Life is Sweet!"

Natural Maximum Alpacas

15. Natural Maximum Alpacas

11mi from Sunnyside · 2 sites
Natural Maximum Alpacas is now open for farm tours! The spacious, park-like grounds are adorned with giant sycamore trees, a water garden with a waterfall, a reflexology pathway, and many beautiful flower and garden displays. During your tour, you'll have the opportunity to see, touch, and feel our cashmere-like alpaca fiber, as well as explore a variety of handmade finished products. Linda Mackey creates unique felted derby hats, crocheted scarves, gloves, and hats without using patterns, making every piece one of a kind. Have fun trying on the felted hats, just like in the good old days. Hats are making a comeback, especially those crafted from luxurious alpaca fiber. Be sure to check out our alpaca loofah soap, available unscented and wrapped in a rainbow of Kool-Aid-dyed colors. We call these colorful bars "Alloofahpaca Soap." Feed and get to know the alpacas as they grow the fiber that is transformed into roving, felt, batting, and luxurious yarn. Our alpacas are sheared once a year, and their fiber is sent to a mill for processing. Visitors are invited to watch this fascinating process free of charge during our annual spring shearing event. Give us a call to schedule your tour. Tours are available from late April through October, weather permitting.
