We have a 7 acre developing hobby farm currently with fruit trees, a garden, a king shepherd named Jack and a cat named Lulu. You may see some of our neighbour's ducks walking around and hear their rooster in the morning.
Please note; our driveway is an uphill, switchback driveway so long trailers are not a fit for our location. Front wheel or 4 wheel is a plus but typically all vehicles can make it up our driveway.
We have 2 swimming holes near and backing our property. At the back of the property is Hayward Lake/Hairsine Creek which is great for swimming. Inflatable paddle boards are the way to go if you wish to paddle board in the lake since it would be difficult portaging a rigid paddle board down the Crown Land trail. On the front is the Stave River Runoff. This has trails and is ideal if you have smaller children as the water is a bit warmer and has shallow areas.
There are hiking trails in the area and a beach area a short drive from the sites.

We strive to provide a place to enjoy the peace & quiet of nature, so it's not a place to party or have music loud enough for neighbours to hear.
Nestled in the heart of the Tamihi Recreational Area, just 20 minutes from town, our property offers a rare blend of seclusion and adventure. Surrounded on three sides by lush, moss-draped forest & bordered on the fourth by the stunning Chilliwack River, it’s a true nature lover’s paradise.
Enjoy a spacious riverside beach, great for swimming during the summer & fall & world-class fishing. The area features Class I–IV rapids for whitewater kayaking, with Chilliwack River Rafting just 5 or so minutes away. You can ATV right out of our gate onto unlimited logging roads and trails or hike the Trans Canada Trail 3 blocks from our gate.
There isn't river access at the sites. The stairs to the beach are through the picnic shelter. There is a light wire fence along the river in riverfront sites for protection due to a drop-off & undercut banks.
ATV's are idle in - idle out.
QUIET, well-mannered, leashed pets are welcome if you pick up after them and not leave them unattended.
LONG WEEKENDS are a minimum of 3 nights.
CHILDREN MUST be accompanied by a parent at all times!
FIREWOOD is $9. for a large feed bag full & is available between 9 AM and 8 PM.
BEEF and EGGS: We have grass-fed Black Angus beef jerky for sale (this cow was treated as a pet until her time & was dispatched on the farm to avoid stress). We occasionally have eggs from our pastured chickens.
Our free-range kind, gentle horses also wander the property. Any interactions with them are at your own risk! The gate must be kept closed because of them.

Deer and occasional coyotes roam the property, but rest assured, they are apprehensive of us and pose no threat.
We derive great pleasure from spending time outdoors, so you may frequently observe us engaged in fieldwork, construction, or simply relaxing in our stargazing hammock circle. We are always available to provide you with space or invite you to join us. We derive immense satisfaction from meeting new individuals and have numerous recommendations for Whidbey Island, including the delectable blueberry stand in Freeland and the Mutiny Bay Blues, a venue that we can either recommend or provide directions to.

Dungeness island tent camp sites are open now, with a new foot bridge for accessing the campsites. It is a 300 ft walk from parking place to the campsites.
Dungeness Island is just that - a small island in the middle of the beautiful Dungeness River. Surrounded by forest and beautiful mountain and river views with many trails to explore, swimming holes and shallow water for pets and kids play.. It really is a destination as well as a great camping experience. Even though trails go through the Salmon Pool and Pic/Nap sites, other campers do not access those trails when Site 2 and; 3 are occupied. The trails are not accessible to the public as they are on private property. Alternative routes to the Salmon Pool and main river bank are available to guests not occupying trail campsites.
1: the Dungeness Wanderer site is to the north with easy access to the main river, woodland trails abound, with one that is a 1/4 mile walk to the Dungeness Railroad Bridge Park, as well as to some of the best swimming and fishing holes on the river.
Site 2 is The Dungeness nap and picnic site is on the trail that leads to a peaceful riverbank spot to picnic - or nap and enjoy the peaceful, relaxing sound of the river. The riverside trail downstream to the Nature Center/Railroad Bridge Park is access able to all campers.
The salmon pool trail is the 3rd site and is located on the trail that leads out to the east bank of the main river where one will be mesmerized by the the King Salmon and Pink Salmon now resting in the pools that will soon be full of the wild Coho run, followed by the hatchery Coho run. Stay awhile and wander the Dungeness to your hearts content.

My 30 acre farm has two campsites, (they are not close to each other) both allow pets and campfires (outside of burn bans).
One campsite is a beach on the North Fork Stilly, it is shaded most of the time, the sun lovers can paddle with their kayak or wade across to sunbath on an island across the river. tent campers can locate their car or truck on dike and move their supplies on to camping area.. trucks with campers can set up right on dike over looking the stilly. Rigs can set up in the field by the dike!!
the outhouse is back for the season!!!
The second campsite is on 4 acres you will have to yourself by a creek;
the Whitehorse trail for biking or walking is only a mile away;
Enjoy the view of Whitehorse and three fingers mountain.
Lake Cavanaugh is nearby, and regional activities include biking, boating, fishing, hiking, , paddling, wind sports, and off-roading.

Just what is Cowboy Camp, you might ask. The traditional definition refers to sleeping outside under the stars with only a bedroll, a fire and the night sky for companions. But if you are a fan of the western genre and lifestyle, you might also know it as a place to go to hang out with like minded folks and experience the Cowboy lifestyle. This includes all people, men and women alike, as the term "Cowboy" is largely generic and not gender oriented. A taste of that lifestyle is what we are offering here at our Cowboy Camp.
As part of your cowboy camp experience you can sign up for a horsemanship lesson involving handling and grooming horses and time spent working with the horse in the round pen.

Our beautiful piece of property is comprised of 11 acres situated on the northeast tip of the Olympic Peninsula just outside the quaint Victorian seaport town of Port Townsend. It lies approximately 4 miles from downtown with its many art galleries, restaurants, shops, boat harbor, farmer's market and the historic Rose theater.
The horses are excluded from camping areas during your visit. No need to worry about curious horses coming into your campsite to say hello.
We have created a walking trail through the forest around the land that is full of the sounds of life and birds. A pileated woodpecker makes its home in the back corner and two pairs of barred owls also inhabit the nearby Douglas firs.
An important note for the walking explorer, please be aware that many areas of the farm are in their natural state. This means you might encounter prickly plants such as star thistle, nettles and tansy ragwort. We are happy to identify these for you if you are unfamiliar with them. Please be aware and dress in long pants and long sleeves while hiking. There are no poisonous snakes present in this region.
Side note : Due to the presence of horses, chickens and various wildlife on the property, we do not allow outside dogs at this time. Thank you for your understanding.

Weekend Trip to Hayward Farms
We really enjoyed the quiet and secluded feel of this camp site, without being far from amenities!
Site 4 was awesome, we loved the outdoor kitchen and cozy feeling of the tent!
The area is clean and safe!
They have corn hole set up, my wife and I really enjoyed it for something to do away from screens!
Recommend the trail behind the stable, it goes to a beautiful lake access and bridge!
Brent and Sherri are great hosts, very helpful and just a quick message away if you have any questions!
We would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle without having to travel too far!

My wife and I loved site 3. It is very secluded and only a short walk from where you leave your car. There is a great hammock to relax in as well as a standing fireplace to have a campfire. We found a good spot for our tent and enjoyed being back at the site.
My only recommendation would be to make sure to store your trash securely! My wife and I had a trash bag hung up off the ground and either some critters or the nearby camper’s roaming dog got into it. Obviously we learned to store it securely but make sure you do that in advance.
Otherwise, it was a great experience. The property was beautiful and extremely easy to find with the signage. The host, Erin, was prompt in responses and made sure to check in on us to make sure everything was going smoothly.
This is a great spot to explore Whidbey Island as well because it is right in the middle of island. It makes it very easy to explore the North and South!
Also, make sure to checkout the Greenbank Pantry nearby! Incredible sandwiches

Camping at Ian’s place has been an amazing experience.
The day of our arrival we kept Ian up to date on our eta, and he so kindly greeted us at the entrance with carts that we used to get set up. We reached at around 9 pm and it was raining. Ian also let us borrow his flash light and umbrella. He made sure we made ourselves comfortable. We are so grateful.
We got a remote and peaceful spot where we spent 2.5 days and 3 nights. We were surrounded by so much natural beauty! We picked cherries, Ian gave us fresh vegetables, and we also explored his property. We disconnected from our phones and embraced the serenity which comes with nature. We also locked eyes with a deer the last morning of our stay! A truly unforgettable experience.

Ian and his crew put a lot of love and care into maintaining this land. Thoughtful details and fun surprises are all around. The play structures, pond, boats, and zip line were especially fun for our group (9 adults, a toddler and a teenager). We all turned into big kids!

Erin was extremely responsive when we had questions or concerns. The site itself was well-maintained and in a lovely wooded setting. The hipcamp is located near many points of interest on Whidbey Island which was very convenient. Overall, it was a bit less private than we were hoping for but a great place to stay on Whidbey.

Weekend Trip to Guemes North Homestead
We couldn't imagine a more magical place to reconnect with each other and ourselves. Our stay on the homestead felt healing and rejuvenating. I found so much joy from swinging on the tire swing, seesawing, picking fresh cherries, kayaking on the pond, walking through the forest to the beach... my senses of play and wonder were fully encouraged. I so appreciated the care that Ian showed through tending the homestead, hosting us, and kind communication with my friends and me. Already hoping to be back soon!

It was a breathtaking view and Hayward lake was so beautiful! Brent and Sherri were also super welcoming and helpful. The Porto potty was a nice touch and they provided water as well. Site 2 little spot for my solo camping trip. Could definitely fit a few more people comfortably though.

Jeff was super responsive and helpful! We needed to change our date and he helped to guide us through the process. Great area for the night. We enjoyed going down by the small beach area and kids played games in the yard! Would definitely recommend! Thanks!

Very lovely and peaceful! The local eagles kept me entertained. The big property was perfect for my dog and we had plenty of privacy.
It was too cold to get out on the lake this trip but I look forward to another visit when the paddleboarding weather is in the forecast!
