Also, “Ms Pacman's Backyard Glampsite” is a converted shed, so be ready for some lower ceilings and narrow spaces. The lofted full bed is cozy, so don’t bob your head on the way out! The bed has a six inch memory foam mattress with extra blankets and pillows available. Everything is washed with free and clear laundry detergent for any sensitivities. The separate, but luxurious, bath house has a full sized shower, sink, and fully plumbed flushing toilet. There is even a small stacked washer and dryer available. Laundry soap available for purchase. Name brand (no dollar store stuff here) shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. A cozy heater keeps the tiny house warm on cool days, but there is no air conditioning. The shady woods stay nice and cool, and there are lots of screened windows to let in the breeze. The sleeping loft also has two screened windows and a fan if the nights are warm. The kitchen has a gas 2 burner stove, a mini fridge, toaster oven, hot water kettle, french press coffee maker, dishes, utensils, pots/pans, and other basics. The bed has 100% cotton sheets, pillow cases, and blanket. As well as a comfy coverlet. A feather alternative duvet is available for colder nights. There is only one bed and it is not recommended for small children to sleep in the loft as there is no safety rail or gate up there. If a child is present it is recommended (almost required) that they sleep on the couch in the lower living space.

We can't wait for you to experience this tiny house in the woods. Check back weekly to see our progress photos! We call this a treehouse but it's technically supported by posts (nicer to the trees). There is a fullsize high end queen memory foam bed on the upper floor. Yes, this is a 2 story treehouse! On the second floor there is also a children's sleeping loft which overlooks the rest of the bedroom. This loft is suitable for a small child or 2 but headroom is only a few feet. We found it also requires some youthfull agility to get up there. A beautiful knotty alder slidding barn door leads from the bedroom to a private bathroom with pedestal sink and odorless composting toilet. There is a small kitchen with a coffee maker, mini fridge, induction cooktop, mini crockpot, and enough dishes and glasses to enjoy a simple meal or drink. Water pressure in the kitchen and throughout is good! There is a soaking tub on the main floor near the fireplace and TV with free Netflix. This luxury tub is sure to be a favorite amongst guests. I designed a non traditional floor plan knowing that this would be used primarily as a couples retreat. You can literally be soaking in the tub and watching TV by the fire while your significant other is preparing a meal in the kitchen all in the same space. We find the layout very romantic and unlike anything else out there. There is also a large hot tub avalible for our guests near the main house. You are welcome to use this hot tub anytime if you don't mind it being by the main home. Free Wifi. No cable TV but we supply Netflix on the hi-speed guest network. Guests will have free parking in our large circular driveway suitable for cars, trucks, or even RVs under 31ft.

My stay at Alison’s was serene, peaceful, and exactly what I needed. I was looking for a place to decompress, find inspiration, and get some work done, and this exceeded my expectations. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by the smell of freshly cut grass, hay, and the farm. Two adorable miniature donkeys welcomed me, and I quickly found myself captivated by the beautiful horses grazing nearby. The setting felt calming and restorative from the moment I arrived. The barn room was unique, private, and full of character. It was the perfect place to work and create. Sitting at the desk while watching horses graze just outside was such a special experience. The showers were wonderful, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I was a little concerned it might get chilly at night since part of one wall is screened to the outdoors, but the comforter was so thick and cozy that I slept soundly. It was also surprisingly quiet at night. The only thing to note is that there is no sink in the room, though it wasn’t an issue for me as I simply washed my hands in the shower. There is also an outhouse around the corner. As someone who is a bit of a germaphobe, I would have preferred an indoor bathroom, but that was really my only minor drawback. Overall, I loved this getaway and would absolutely stay here again. It’s a wonderful retreat for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy a unique farm experience.

Weekend Trip to Simple Roots Ranch

Dave and Sharon’s space was so serene and lovely. We arrived late in the evening and Dave came out to greet us and show us the space and brought some firewood over for us to enjoy our dinner around the fire. We loved the gardens, abundance of trees and flowers and spent most of our time outside bird watching and playing with their dogs. It was a wonderful experience and we would stay here again. You can tell the hosts put a lot of thought and effort into making the space enjoyable!

Allison was an amazing host and very hospitable. The bunk in the barn was a perfect relaxing getaway and is conveniently located near downtown areas and small shops. The friendly horses and donkeys on the property made the stay extra special and brought plenty of smiles. To top it off, the fire pit was amazing—so peaceful and relaxing. I would rate this stay a 10 out of 10 and would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique farm-style getaway. An amazing experience overall.

This was our first experience with HipCamp, and I must say it will be a hard one to follow! Dave and Sharon's place was amazing. We had fun walking the gardens during the day and making s'mores on the campfire at night. They provided us with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking dinner-- and Dave even offered us some veggies from his garden for our meal. Looking forward to our next visit!

The place was beautifully set up, so very comfortable, peaceful, had everything we needed and more! Will definitely be back! Alison was also the kindest host! It was so lovely we extended an extra night :)

Weekend Trip to The Khohay Farm

Jenel and Khohay are so so sweet. And their little cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for me to relax and enjoy some alone time. The farm fresh eggs were yummy and I loved staring out the back of the deck on the sheep’s and goats roaming around the property while listening to the gentle babble of the brook. The space might be tight for two people, especially in the winter if it’s cold and you don’t want to be on the deck which functions as an extended living space. Thank you so much for creating this slice of calm!

The property is on a quiet street in a quiet neighborhood, cozy, and well-stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay! I loved the little patio for morning coffee, and really liked the comfy loft bed.

1 night at The Bunky in The Barn

Amazing and unique! Alison was so warm, thoughtful and helpful in all ways. What a wonderful place, with horses, donkeys, wild deer, bunnies barn swallows and more. That’s not even mentioning the lovely sauna and outdoor shower. If you like one of a kind stays with sweet animals and some stand out amenities this is your kinda place.

Perfect Off grid glamping with a wonderful host that works really hard keeping her plots beautiful and upkept. She does her best to make sure you have all the commodities while being able to be off grid and enjoy her peace of nature. I would definitely come back and try a different lot or pitch tint.

2 nights at The Bunky in The Barn

Dont know where to start on how amazing my stay on Alison’s property was! She was very quick with responding and helped me quickly with adjusting my accommodation, when I arrived she made everything clear on where everything around the property was. Enjoyed the quietness and trots of the horses around the barn was a spectacular experience. Sauna was amazing and coming back late from a night hike, showering under the starts was magical. 100% enjoyed every bit of Alison’s barn and definitely recommend and will be visiting again :))
