Camp Moxy Jo's was perfect for my vintage loving heart! The camper was so cute and ammenities were perfect. Hot shower, and restrooms were clean. Amenities had every perfect touch imaginable. And its so close to tacoma and olympia. A perfect place to stay.

This sweet, cozy barn room is surrounded by some pretty awesome trees. Comfortable futon, the faint sound of a rooster crowing, yet easy to sleep past sunrise. Traci and Khris have thought of everything! Dishes, microwave, teapot, extra light in the outhouse, outdoor shower, and fire pit. I felt so at home, I extended my stay and plan to return with family.

Weekend Trip to The Khohay Farm

My partner and I had an amazing stay at Jenel and Khohay's property - spent one night in the Sweetheart Cabin. We loved spending time with the animals, picking cherries, and relaxing on the deck listening to birdsong. Our hosts greeted us, showed us around and made us feel very welcome. The cabin was comfy, cozy and well set-up, and the outhouse was clean and very convenient to the cabin. We really appreciated the communal kitchen and bathroom space, had an amazing send-off breakfast of fresh farm eggs and espresso. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Weekend Trip to Camp MoxyJo's

Upon arriving, we met Jo, the operator and owner! She is so helpful, fully engaged, and kind. The property is quite big with so many fun and creative touches. Like the hand paint wall, little fruit garden, a tiki room, an outdoor living room/kitchen, and The Pit Stop which is an outdoor kitchette, self help station, and on the back side has two bathrooms- one complete with a walk in shower. The bathrooms and spaces outside of your camper is shared among other campers. We rented the family camper- The Coastal for our family of 5. Two adults, twin 12 yr olds, and our 7 yr old. We brought our tent and sleeping bags for the twins to sleep in outside. Each area has a shelter over it to keep elements off of you. Each area also has an outdoor seating area and tables. I'm glad we brought the tent, bc it gave us the extended space we needed. There was also electricity and running water inside the camper. Jo also has tons of bedding, soaps, & towels for you! Jo was very kind to allow my boys to invade her garage that had so many arts and crafts. Each of my kids said besides the goats, their favorite thing was the paint wall and the calligraphy garage! The only cons were the neighbors dog barking throughout the day, but thats not something that is Jo's fault. We did come during 4th of July, so surrounding neighbors were shooting off fireworks well after midnight.

The property was absolutely perfect. Beautiful lawn and garden, lush trees surrounding the meadow, and a perfect view of the surrounding hills. The garden has a playground and wide paths for kids to explore, as well as a hammock in the trees- it’s so peaceful! The kitchen has everything you need, and the workshop has extra lawn blankets, lawn chairs, etc… honestly we packed much more than we needed, this property is ready to just “show up” with food and a sketchbook. Oh- and don’t even get me started on the comfort of the tent, the heavenly outdoor shower, and the tranquil creek. Absolutely wonderful and so well thought out.

Come stay in our beautiful safari tent and experience our flower farm and old-growth Maple Forest. Located in the heart of Olalla near the Colvos Passage waterway, a ferry ride from West Seattle, 20 minutes from Tacoma, and near the quaint town of Gig Harbor. Last year we upgraded to two queen sized memory foam beds!! Lovely 100% cotton sheets and cozy blankets will keep you nice and comfy on those cool nights. Two extra twin sized cots are available to rent in the "Extras" section of the listing.** You will feel very secluded on our 5 acre property. Our parcel is partially wooded and partially cleared for our flower farm. But it adjoins neighboring properties that have an additional 20+ acres that are totally wooded giving the feeling of being further away from civilization than you are. Enjoy an outdoor shower on the edge of the woods with on-demand hot water. You’ll also have your own custom made steel fire pit with fire wood available for purchase (or you can bring your own). We have an outdoor picnic table as well as a table inside the tent for late night card games. There's a lovely little bathroom with a composting toilet and a sink with running water. We allow up to 6 people (absolutely no pets) and request that parties respect the limit so that our composting toilet can keep up with the demand with minimal servicing while you are here (to maintain your privacy). Please contact us to set up a time for a guided tour if you are interested in seeing the farm up close. Please no U-pick or tours without guidance. We love camping, hiking and any opportunity to be outside with our two children! In 2020 (one week before the whole world shut down from Covid) we found the hidden gem we had been searching for! A perfect place to raise our family, space to play and explore nature, super private and close to town! It seemed too good to be true and still does! After settling in and realizing what amazing natural beauty we had, we got to work developing our garden, orchards, trails, fire pits and….Campsites! After building a camp site for our family, we decided that we wanted to share this amazing space with other families to enjoy! We built Hidden Meadow to be the campsite that we have always searched for on our family adventures, surrounded by nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the world, with trails for hiking and a HOT TUB to relax in, in the evening! We hope that you enjoy it! About the property: We are located on a very private property (the only houses you will see are across the inlet) surrounded by nature but only about 10 minutes from downtown Olympia and 5 minutes from I-5 and Lacey. The property is situated on the very south end of Henderson Inlet. We are on the tide flats so twice a day (at high tide) we have the opportunity to explore on the water in canoes and kayaks. The property is spread over 16 acres and is comprised of two large fields (one in front of our home and the other is a smaller meadow off to the side (hidden meadow) and forest land. There is tons of space for playing, exploring and tiring out your kids and pups! Wildlife is abound with eagles, hawks, owls, falcons, shore birds and a variety of forest birds make this place their home. We are also frequented by the local deer who wonder through and say hi. About the campground: The campground is located in the far northeast corner of the property on the edge of the forest and meadow. In the common areas you will find the bathroom which has a shower and a toilet. The toilet is a porta-potty and the shower is propane headed. There is also a supply closet at the bathroom that has the yard games and extra supplies. There is a hottub situated right on the edge of the forest with peek-a-boo views of the inlet. You will also find garbage and recycling bins as well as a sink for washing hands (please water only down the sink). We have provided soap that is biodegradable for the sink and shower to help reduce our impact on this beautiful environment. There are trails throughout the forest along the 600 feet of water (tide) front. Along the trails you will find several different benches, seats and swings to relax and enjoy nature from. There is also several fairies and gnomes who have been sighted in the forest. If you look closely, you might spot one too! We ware, if you touch a fairy or gnome they do lose their magical powers so please respect the mystical creatures. 😊 The sites are about 500 feet from our house and offers great privacy. You may see us throughout the day and evening coming and going from the campground, working on the property or playing with the kids on the trails! Dogs: We do have two dogs on the property (Wilma and Bean) who are very friendly and we will keep them out of camp during your stay. Although they typically follow us when we walk down there. We allow dogs to be off leash at owner’s risk. There may be other dogs in camp so please use discretion when letting your dogs off leash and be mindful of other campers. You must be responsible for your own dogs, we are not responsible for any dog related or dog inflicted injuries. Getting here: We are off of Sleater Kinney Rd in Olympia. We have a long, steep, curvy driveway. At the bottom of the driveway, you will find signs directing you to the camp site. If you have extra vehicles, we have extra parking spaces adjacent to the campsite. The road out to camp may be bumpy (we do our best to keep it smooth) so go slow and beware of natural obstacles. Rules: 1. Check in time is 2:00pm or later. For afterhours arrivals, please let us know. 2. Check out time is 12:00pm or earlier 3. Quiet hours from 9pm to 8am. You are far from our house, so we can’t hear you but sound travels well over the water to our neighbors. Nobody wants grumpy neighbors, please be respectful. 4. Remain within the campground boundary during all times. If you need us, please feel free to text or call. 5. Please put all trash in the trash cans or take it with you. 6. Remove all dog doo and dispose of in the trash. 7. Leave what you find (except ripe blackberries). Please leave any forest treasures where you found them. 8. Cleanup any debris left from firewood/camp activities before departing. 9. Enjoy nature and respect it. Please stay on trails and respect the plants and the natural habitats. 10. Stay off the dock. It is closed for repair. 11. Do not use the trailside fireplace (if you find it) or our personal canoe or kayaks. However, feel free to enjoy the view from the seats by the fireplace. 12. Be cautious when walking around, the ground is bumpy and there are exposed tree roots that can be tripping hazards. We are not responsible from injuries. 13. Help us keep it clean- if you find any garbage around, please pick it up or let us know. 14. Keep fires small and when you are finished PUT YOUR FIRES DEAD OUT! There are 5 gallon buckets by each fire put to fill before you start your fire for putting them out. 15. Please do not burn trash or food. It can create issues with the wildlife. Put all waste in garbage cans.

The Glen - Olympic Peninsula RV

Right off the 101 fronting Hood Canal, this cozy motel and RV park is 1 mile from Hoodsport and just down the road from Lake Cushman. It sits 30 minutes from the entrance to Olympic National Park with easy access to Staircase Trailhead and Campground. A quick hour and forty minutes from Seattle and you can watch orcas breach, salmon swim, and bald eagles fly! Our crew is kind, facilities clean, and amenities are quality. Brand new benches at each site that also fold to become a table! Amenities include beach access, barbecue facilities, coin operated laundry, hiking trails, observation decks, grassy meadow, a guest clubhouse with showers, and a boat dock. The Khohay Farm

Nestled at the foothills of Mount Rainier, we are a serene farm 45 miles away from Seattle, 36 min drive away from the Mt Rainier Carbon River entrance, 1 hour from the Crystal Mountain Resort, and 1 hour 30 minutes from the Sunrise Visitor Center. I live here with my partner Khohay who now takes care of his family farm which used to be his late aunts Soma Institute of Structural Integration school (now ran by his brother on Whidbey Island). We are constantly doing projects around the property to restore, improve and preserve the beauty that it has to offer and would love to share it with other people as we go! AMENITIES/THINGS TO DO: -There is a communal bunkhouse on property available to guests with a flushable toilet and a hot water shower. It also includes a kitchenette and we welcome you to use any of the kitchen/cookware and appliances. Our 2 French Bulldogs also stay in this building but they love humans and all the attention you can give them! -We have a wellness yurt with well equipped gym that is available to use as an add-on. -There is an infrared sauna that can sit up to 3 people located next to the yurt accompanied by a cold plunge as an add-on. -You are welcome to wander around the entire property and grab fruit daily from the trees when in season or have us get you farm fresh eggs from the coop to eat for breakfast. -Say hello to the animals (sheep, goats, chickens, piggy, cats and dogs) or go for a walk/run around the countryside roads with walking/running/biking adventures available to you along the beautiful and paved Foothills Trail extending 21 miles from Buckley to Puyallup. -Communal fire pit areas with picnic table and chairs available when fire ban is not in effect. There is one close to the communal kitchen area, one closer to the field by the barn, and we have a moveable metal one which we can transport to your camp spot if preferred. We sell a milkcrate full of wood for $10 if needed. -WIFI is available closer to the communal area. LOCATION: 2 miles from downtown Buckley with Blue Max Meats and the Rainier Fresh Country Store for a quick trip down the road for groceries and less than 15 minute drive to Enumclaw with more restaurant options available and Bonney Lake also 15 minutes away with Costco, Fred Meyers etc.

The Hobbit house was built by our family as a 5th grade project for our daughter Rose and her friends. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort.”-J.R.R. Hand-built by our family, this cozy in-hill cabin located in the lower area of our property is something right out of a Tolkien novel. Very LGBTQ+ And BIPOC friendly. This one room Hobbit Hole has everything in it's 7.5x15.5' (cozy): Comfy convertible bed/couch complete with linens, a small table with 2 chairs for playing games and eating, puzzles, games, snacks, hot water kettle, coffee maker, bluetooth speaker, electric fireplace, books, sketchpad with colored pencils, and more! A rustic wooden floor (with some paint splatters) and a braided rug give you a feeling of comfort and home. On site we have a private portable bathroom complete with hand-washing station, and an outside combination fire pit and charcoal barbecue with a grill top and s’mores sticks provided so you can cook over a wood fire or coals! And an outdoor table and chairs that are super comfortable! The house itself is heated, insulated, and has working electricity/outlets for computer or phone charger. Clean bedding and pillows provided, washed in fragrance-free detergent between each guest. We provide a full water jug with spigot, hot water kettle, teapot, assorted teas, an empty growler to use, 2 pint glasses and 2 mugs. Private area of the yard with plenty of room to relax. We have a disc golf goal and discs to use as well. Firewood is available for purchase onsite for $10/milk crate full. This comes with a kindling kit. Territorial views of the tree line and sunset views to die for! We are located near Meigs Park as well as a 10-minute walk from Manitou beach and an easy bike ride to the ferry that goes to Seattle! 2 miles from the Grand Forest and 3 miles from Battle Point park. We are exactly 3 miles from the ferry terminal in a convenient mid-island location. NEED TO KNOW (managing expectations):A note on the bathroom: the hobbit hole is small and will not fit a bathroom or plumbing. Your nearby private portable restroom is cleaned thoroughly between each guest and serviced (pumped out) weekly. We consider our listing to be “glamping”. Also our property borders a local 2 lane highway and you can expect road noise mostly during the day and evening. While it is a private setting you can expect to hear the road. Weekends and evenings it is quieter, and when the door is closed it is quiet. The Hobbit House is suitable for 2 guests or 2 adults and a small child that can share the bed. The bed is a queen size, and we can't allow sleeping on the floor as the door opens inwards and is a safety concern. However, additional guests are welcome to bring a tent and camp outside, for $20/tent, up to 6 additional guests or 2 tents, whichever is smaller. We are a peaceful, private, forested 6 acers that is 6 minutes to a secluded neighborhood beach with big mountain views and only 8 minutes to Alder Lake State Park. Our OFF-GRID location offers treetop views, a hillside cabin, wood fired sauna, and soon to include select areas for tent camping. We are just 15 minutes to Elbe's Whiskey Train. 30 minutes to Mt. Rainier National Park. 20 minutes to the grocery store in town that has cool restaurants and a great crystal shop. Local hikes are close, include gravel, paths, and waterfalls. Our property IS off-grid and collects rain for water and solar for electricity. We do not have WiFi but do have cell service. Potable water is provided in small quantities at each site. Fires are subject to local burn bans and property provided materials. All areas are walk-in and include wagons to transport any gear.

This wilderness campsite is located down a 2-mile gravel logging road which is steep and bumpy in a few places! Four-wheel drive is recommended in the wettest part of the winter, and please drive carefully any time of the year in whatever vehicle you bring. As a guest, you are free to access any part of the 220-acre property except other campsites (there is currently only one). This listing is located on The Riverbend Preserve, a private nature park, so there is no hunting, fishing, or foraging. Please do not discharge any firearms during your stay. The forest to the west of the Preserve is Washington State land, and on occasion locals go up into the hills to target shoot. In the unlikely event that this happens during your stay, don't be alarmed; the British are *not* coming. If you use AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, or most major carriers you can expect good cell service. Single use or small cellular carriers may have intermittent signal or no signal at all after you leave the City of Chehalis behind.
