Enjoy the beautiful acres right on the Chilliwack River! A wonderful family-friendly (including pets!) getaway with endless activities nearby. (no pets allowed for glamping)
Our campsite is available in the spring and summer and is just 20 minutes from the city of Chilliwack, BC. We provide a fire pit and campfires are allowed as long as there is no fire ban. (then you can have a propane campfire)
The sites are quite private but there will be other campers nearby. We try to keep a large amount of space between sites and some are separated by trees. We are a walk in tent only site- parking is very close, 30 second walk.
We can also provide access to electricity so you can charge your phones or other devices if needed. There is no cell reception, but we do have wifi.
Potable water is available. We supply natural spring water but you must bring your own jug.
We live in an adventure playground! Activities nearby include hiking, white rapid river rafting, fishing, watching bald eagles, Cultus Lake water slides and adventure park, mountain biking, cold plunge and sauna retreats, and more!
The stargazing at night is beautiful as there is no light pollution here.

We are a short 11 minute drive to the North Cascades National Park! During the winter (typically end of November/early December through April/May) part of Highway 20 and driving access to the park is closed. You are still able to get to our dome using Highway 20 as that part is open all year round, but you are unable to access the park. You are able to drive to the entrance, park and snow shoe in if you'd like.
The part of Highway 20 that is closed is on the west side at milepost 134 at the Ross Dam Trailhead and on the east side, at milepost 171 at the Silver Star Gate, near Mazama.
An alternative hiking destination for the winter months is the Rockport State Park which is only a 4 minute drive from the dome. You are able to purchase a day pass on your phone once you arrive.

The teepee features a fully furnished space with power and water with ample seating and includes all the necessities to create your perfect meal. Also includes a is a coffee and tea bar. The decor is inspired by the culture of the local indigenous peoples of yale First Nation. Sit outside on your private deck overlooking the river and enjoy the beauty of seeing eagles bears deer and other wildlife. Here you will find a barbecue and outdoor propane griddle to create your favourite meals. Sit and enjoy the views of the river at your balcony railing bar or relax in your lounge chairs. Afterwards sit around the campfire and roast marshmallows while sitting next to the river. We include firewood. Guests can share a fully functional outdoor washroom facility featuring a compostable toilet and an outdoor low flow shower. The Gem is a beautiful tiny home in a cozy setting in the woods. It has a semi private drive. Hiking trails through the woods, with a glimpse of Church mountain out the door and just a jaunt to Cornell creek. Bodigers bond across the street and the Mt. Baker/Snoqualamie national forest right out your front door. It's a 1/4 mile from Glacier, Wa and 17 miles from the Mt. Baker ski area. Please note, this cabin accommodates 3 people. I will allow 5 but there is not beds for 5 people. 2 people are welcome to sleep in a tent under the poll barn. There is an additional charge for the 2 extra people. We don't allow dogs in the Gem at this time. Feel free to check out our other cabins on the same property. The Nook and The LTC both allow dogs.

Weekend Trip to Lakewood Cabins
The Woodland Cabin was like heaven. The surrounding scenery was beautiful, and although the cabin was small, it felt spacious enough and had everything we needed. The bathroom was just a short walk away, but it was clean, warm, and very comfortable to use.
We enjoyed the campfire late into the night. The firewood we purchased for $10 was more than enough, and we were grateful that the host generously provided extra.
We would absolutely love to come back again for our vacation next year. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at Michael’s cabin and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and peaceful getaway. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and thoughtfully prepared.
One of the highlights of our stay was the animals on the property. There’s a horse, a goat, and chickens, which made the experience feel extra special and charming. The horse even walked over to greet us, and that little moment truly made our trip memorable. Our dog also had an amazing time. She was completely comfortable inside the cabin and loved sitting by the window watching the horse. It was such a joy to see her so relaxed and happy.
Even though it’s a small cabin, it has absolutely everything you need. The space is very well equipped, comfortable, and perfect for unwinding. We even had a cozy movie night and felt completely at home the entire time.
The only small recommendation I would add is to bring warm slippers or thick socks if you’re visiting during colder weather. While the heater works well and keeps the cabin warm, the floors can feel quite cold. Aside from that minor detail, everything about our stay was wonderful.
We truly had a lovely experience and would gladly come back again.

We really loved this place. My wife and I enjoyed Michael’s cabin very much, and the location is excellent. You truly feel peaceful and happy here.
Michael is very good at communication, solution,oriented and reasonable. His wife is the same way, both of them are kind and helpful people.

We have the absolute best time staying at Micheals cabin this past weekend. He is a fantastic host, very welcoming (He even came to us to show us a brand new chick he was keeping warm in his jacket!) The cabins are lovely, have everything you need for a comfortable stay in the woods. The local area is beautiful and we made some amazing steaks over the fire. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing a little affordable get away!

The outdoor bath under the stars and short hiking trail in the forest through lush ferns and moss made my stay even more special! The perfect 1 night getaway from the city. We are right for money right now but we wanted to get out of the city and Michael made that possible with his accessible pricing.
He provided everything we needed so packing was light.
The bathtub was a wonderful addition and both of us (both 6 foot plus) could fit comfortably inside.
