The Pathfinders Sanctuary is a small, intentionally designed glamping campground featuring six private, fully equipped campsites set along a scenic river and forest in the North Cascades. Each site is prepared in advance with everything you need for a comfortable stay—no setup required. This is not traditional camping. It’s a quieter, more effortless way to experience nature. Designed for 1–2 guests per site, the atmosphere is peaceful, low-density, and focused on privacy, scenery, and rest. Please note that none of the sites are drive up sites. You won't have headlights hitting your tent walls in the middle of the night.

Misty Mountain View rests on the shore of the Skagit River, with forested hills across the water and a stunning peekaboo mountain view. Surrounded by the sound of running water, this open-air site boasts plenty of sunlight. Misty Mountain View has a large glamping tent, a propane grill and propane firepit, picnic table, hammock stand, zero gravity chairs, a portable power block, and privacy. A queen-sized mattress, sleeping bags and pillows, and a cooler are provided, as well. Misty Mountain View might be one of my favorite Hipcamp spots to date! Jeremy was extremely helpful and welcoming. The campsite literally had everything we needed, from headlamps and robes to everything needed to cook our meals. We were lucky enough to have the riverside all to ourselves during our stay. It was so quiet and peaceful sitting by the propane fire pit watching the sunset, listening to sounds of the river. The spot also offered great birding in the morning! Would love to stay here again sometime.

this place is truly a sanctuary. Jeremy has thought of everything . We arrived after dark and there was a cart and headlamp waiting at our parking space which was super helpful. It was very private and wonderful amenities. The river access is convenient and beautiful. I would highly recommend!!!!

Withywindle Bend
One of the biggest benefits of staying at Whirlywind was not having to pack, haul, set up, and tear down all of our own camping equipment. It allowed us to spend more time enjoying the beautiful river and surroundings and less time worrying about the work that comes with camping. (the camping rule “leave it better then you found it” was easy when it was all so clean and organized to begin with) Pathfinder’s Sanctuary sites lack nothing and our spot was exactly what we needed for a stress-free getaway. We would absolutely recommend any of Jeremy’s sites to anyone who wants the fun of camping without all the hassle! Jeremy was extremely friendly, available and quick to answer any questions we had. We’ll definitely be back!

Probably one of the most glamorous camping experiences. It’s a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the campsite but well worth it and made easy with the supplied wagon. The misty Mountain View campsite was a beautiful setting, just one other campsite visible from our site but barely could hear them. Such a serene spot right on the river. Jeremy was super informative and responsive, he couldn’t have been a better host. The campsite was stocked with more than I could have prepared, they really thought of everything.

Absolutely incredible location!!! Right next to the Skagit River on a rock and sandy beach. The queen mattress in the large tent is very comfortable. The host has thought of everything: propane fire ring, lots of cooking supplies, and lots of ice in the cooler. It is about a 5 to 10 minute journey from the parking area, but we did not mind. We had the whole place to ourselves. Very private and romantic. After dark, the stars were amazing. Hot outdoor shower next to the parking area was also nice.

If I could give this site 10 out of 5 I would. Everything you need to have a great time. Cookware, dishes, everything. The only things I found helpful to bring was a bucket to collect dirty dishes, gloves to wash them, and paper towels.

I absolutely loved staying here! The site was gorgeous and everything you needed was provided to you. The bed was comfortable and we especially loved the zero gravity chairs. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to glamp! My only suggestion would to be to provide a toilet a bit closer to some of the sites, but it wasn’t a problem.

Jeremy's land was beautiful and peaceful just like promised. Right next to a creek with access to the Skagit River. Jeremy was a terrific host with great local suggestions and he was super responsive when we had a small challenge. Very personable too! My son and I plan to come back again next year.

Lothlorien Grove
We experienced another level of comfort while camping here. The clean tent was set up with a cozy queen sized bed and cot. Linens were clean and fresh. Bath towels and robes were waiting for us too! The outdoor kitchen set up was pristine and so new. We had all the essentials in our camp site that provided privacy and immersed us in nature. The entire property is beautiful! The beach by the river featured a host of unusual rocks that flow down from the mountains. It rained lightly in the early evening while we had dinner and we were amazingly dry under the canopy of branches that naturally shielded the cooking and dining area we occupied. Jeremy had even set up a gas fire pit to spoil us as we lounged on the zero gravity chairs. It rained hard and got cold later on that night and we were dry, warm and cozy in the tent and on our beds. The bath house had hot water and clean flip flops that you can borrow to shower. Shampoo, conditioner, and bath soap are provided. The outhouse was nearby as well and had a sink with soap. The little things like portable lights, bug spray, power bank, propane tanks and sunscreen were available for us to use too. We were also provided with a wagon to assist us in bringing our bags to the site! We were cared for from the get go!

10/10 fantastic! The perfect definition of glamping. Imagine only having to pack your clothing, toiletries, and food. And still you get the entire camping experience! They provide everything you could imagine for your experience, including a fully stocked kitchen. Each site had wonderful privacy, and even better views. Not to mention being able to sleep on an actual mattress while camping! The outdoor shower was a perfect way to end the evening. The hosts were more than pleasant. I plan to return with my kids, as I could see endless memories being made on the creek and in the woods. Can’t wait to return!

Jeremy provided everything I needed, all I had to pack was clothes, toiletries and food. Everything else covered! From bug spray, sunscreen, headlamp, cooking gear, everything. It was incredible. The bed was comfortable, the views were stunning, and the campsite was secluded. I felt very safe as a woman camping alone. This is the perfect spot for out of town travelers with no camp gear, I highly recommend!
