The *Purple Cottage* -- was found & salvaged (recycled!)-- moved onto the back of my property in 2012. This 16 X 12' place has been my studio in the past, but has offered overflow for friends & ; family. Nestled in the woods and ever-so-private, the cottage has a pull-out double futon, plus a small sleeping loft and can accommodate 1 -2 nicely (we will consider 3 if you have a small child, but it would be a tight fit!... There is a very small sleeping loft in the cottage.). There is a “en suite kitchen in the cottage that has a small fridge, microwave, and two burner stovetop cooking unit. The cottage offers privacy in a wooded garden setting. The bathhouse, with hot shower, vanity and; toilet --are all steps away (and covered) from the main cabin. The Purple Cottage sits on a shy wooded acre, with greenbelt buffers all around, maximizing the sense of privacy. our vintage Shasta Trailer across the driveway of the Purple Cottage is currently used as a music studio (and rarely as family/guest overflow), and I have my own small Artist Studio located also on the back of the property. Even with all the little enclave of buildings, The Purple Cottage retains a private feel all to itself, with reliable Wi-Fi available at the cottage. . It is located in a quiet little neighborhood, about 6 miles from Langley & 6 miles from Freeland.. Private beach access is across the road and a 15 minute walk up the street, where you can beach comb & explore the shoreline out at our little point. The private deck off the side of the Purple Cottage offers views of the gardens & flora, and has a little gas barbecue. There is also a delightful hot tub on the deck, which is a wonderful feature. An outdoor kitchen on the edge of the woods allows a roomier “camp cooking” experience with Colman stove & cold running water (season permitting). We are located 6 miles from the picturesque town of Langley and equal distance from Freeland, on the south end of Whidbey. Our area is very *bike-able* and either direction will get you to town! The Purple Cottage offers a rustic retreat in a place that feels far away, but is an hour & a half from the bustling city of Seattle!

Our cozy trailer is located on our large city property in old town Lake Stevens within a 5 min walk to the lake which boast 5 public parks with paddle boards for rent. We are a 5 minute walk to 3 restaurants and small grocery and a 1 min bike ride to the 30 mile paved centennial trail. We also have frisbee golf park and playground across the street. We are located on the back side of Old town Lake stevens and a 10 minute drive to the Gateway town of the Olympic national forest with Hundreds of hiking trails and a beautiful scenic 3 hour drive that is call Mt. Loop Hwy and goes through the off grid town of Silverton, has access to the gate of the old town of Monte Cristo and drives all the way through on gravel from there to the town of Darington and loops back to us. I booked the entire site for my birthday and had a great time! The new covered area over the kitchen is excellent, and was especially nice during rainy weather. Multiple tents to choose from, a nice big fire pit, and multiple toilets for easy access. Timber and Bethany were super accommodating and helpful, will definitely be back out here again!

We had a great time here. Timber’s property were extremely well taken care of and you can tell they’ve put a lot of effort into keeping it a magical location. The hot shower was extremely appreciated and the community kitchen area came in handy when I came to making some backcountry meals. Overall it was a good experience!

The place is EPIC. Comfy, welcoming, brimming with awesome art, and memories all over. It felt like we were walking into such a thoughtful space, which was only exemplified by the kindness of appliances, access, and bits and bobs which made our stay even more wonderful. Sarah was kind, responded promptly, and was very conscious about our space and time whilst we were at the property. The hot tub was clean, warm, and ready to use. The bathroom which is right next door to where we slept was well stocked and the shower was great! Myself and my partner loved every minute and we will likely be back at some point! Thank you for creating such a unique spot on the island! I cant recommend this place enough!

I had a lovely stay. The host met me when I arrived and gave me great suggestions on places to go. Tent was clean and cozy. Composting toilet situation was much cleaner/smelled much better than a port-a-potty. Outdoor shower was great. Forest swing is magical. I was traveling solo and felt very safe on Timber's land. Would return!

We had a wonderful two-night camping stay at Cedar Cove at Ravens Ridge. The hosts were responsive and the directions to the site were clear and easy to follow. The bed was comfortable and the tent was somewhat set apart from the common area, so the site was peaceful and quiet. It was also a plus to have a sink, table, and toilet available. We’d stay here again!

We had a great one-night stay on this property. We enjoyed hanging out in the metal and found the grounds very peaceful and quiet. There were a lot of mosquitoes around our tent and at the meadow, and the tent was pretty warm given the hot daytime temps during our stay, but we still slept well and enjoyed being outside.

This information is based on stories from some old timers my husband had spoken to in the past when he bought this property in 2002. The owner back in the old days sold off parcels and parcels of lands back then. The property is all fenced in, a place where your fur buddy can run free so you don't have to worry of the baby getting lost! Hopefully you'll get a visit from a deer and hear the hooting of the owl. :) You are welcome to check out our goats too if you want (they're in their enclosed space). The surroundings are peaceful and private, you will enjoy exploring the trails all around the 9 acres out of 12 we are sharing. Stroll down the hill to listen to the sounds of the creek and fish ladder. Our campground cabins are about 4.9 miles from the 'Granite Falls Fish Ladder'. Visit this beauty at Mountain Loop Highway if you fancy a little hike. Drive around 7 miles to the 'Lime Kiln Trailhead. The trail is full of amazing views and history. Our place is only about 45 minutes from Seattle. Why not pack your tent and sleeping bags then drive here after work, then leave in the morning. Leave your worries behind.. enjoy nature.

Tents can be pitched under four apple trees close to a fire pit for cooking. Beautiful area with horses and livestock to see in the neighborhood. A Blueberry Farm is across the street on Veazie picking around August. A Christmas Trees farm is across the street on SE 384th. Eagles, hawks, robins, doves, owls, and hummingbirds visiting hillside flower garden, are a few of the birds for your enjoyment. Check in is at 4:00 check out at 11:00 am, early check in is possible. Modern Bathroom with cotton towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner, two sinks, shower with a claw foot bath tub, seven foot long, bathroom might be shared with other guests. A separate room with fridge and microwave, ALL Cleaned after each person just because we are really careful hosts.  Campsite faces a Christmas Tree Farm and cows in a field.  Traffic noise possible as Veazie Cumberland is a main two lane road 250 feet from camp site. Two State parks within four miles. Four miles to the town of Enumclaw.  We have a 3 or 6 person tent for rent, a queen air mattress, sleeping bags if needed as well all at reasonable rental prices. There are two fire pits one shared on the ground and one above ground for wood fires. Fire wood for sale at $10 a bundle. Nice big bundle and kindle. The *Purple Cottage* -- was found & salvaged (recycled!)-- moved onto the back of my property in 2012. This 16 X 12' place has been my studio in the past, but has offered overflow for friends & ; family. Nestled in the woods and ever-so-private, the cottage has a pull-out double futon, plus a small sleeping loft and can accommodate 1 -2 nicely (we will consider 3 if you have a small child, but it would be a tight fit!... There is a very small sleeping loft in the cottage.). There is a “en suite kitchen in the cottage that has a small fridge, microwave, and two burner stovetop cooking unit. The cottage offers privacy in a wooded garden setting. The bathhouse, with hot shower, vanity and; toilet --are all steps away (and covered) from the main cabin. The Purple Cottage sits on a shy wooded acre, with greenbelt buffers all around, maximizing the sense of privacy. our vintage Shasta Trailer across the driveway of the Purple Cottage is currently used as a music studio (and rarely as family/guest overflow), and I have my own small Artist Studio located also on the back of the property. Even with all the little enclave of buildings, The Purple Cottage retains a private feel all to itself, with reliable Wi-Fi available at the cottage. . It is located in a quiet little neighborhood, about 6 miles from Langley & 6 miles from Freeland.. Private beach access is across the road and a 15 minute walk up the street, where you can beach comb & explore the shoreline out at our little point. The private deck off the side of the Purple Cottage offers views of the gardens & flora, and has a little gas barbecue. There is also a delightful hot tub on the deck, which is a wonderful feature. An outdoor kitchen on the edge of the woods allows a roomier “camp cooking” experience with Colman stove & cold running water (season permitting). We are located 6 miles from the picturesque town of Langley and equal distance from Freeland, on the south end of Whidbey. Our area is very *bike-able* and either direction will get you to town! Our cozy trailer is located on our large city property in old town Lake Stevens within a 5 min walk to the lake which boast 5 public parks with paddle boards for rent. We are a 5 minute walk to 3 restaurants and small grocery and a 1 min bike ride to the 30 mile paved centennial trail. We also have frisbee golf park and playground across the street. We are located on the back side of Old town Lake stevens and a 10 minute drive to the Gateway town of the Olympic national forest with Hundreds of hiking trails and a beautiful scenic 3 hour drive that is call Mt. Loop Hwy and goes through the off grid town of Silverton, has access to the gate of the old town of Monte Cristo and drives all the way through on gravel from there to the town of Darington and loops back to us. She is small, clean and very affordable. We have fun loving dogs that love to visit and your dogs are welcome too. We have a hot tub, sauna, cold plunge and out door wood burning fire pit for use.
