They even had firewood for us, no extra charge! David, his wife, and everyone else that helps maintain the property were SO sweet and welcoming. Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. Whidbey Island is rural and therefore has spotty cell service. Some campers have said that their carrier does not get good cell service at our campsite, so be aware of that please. If needed, you can walk up to our yard where the sky is a little clearer to make a phone call or send a text.
Please only park vehicles and campers in the gravel parking area.
You are welcome to unplug the string of lights for a darker nighttime experience.

I really liked the forest with trails leading to Soaring Eagle Park. Lots of hiking opportunities. I found the Rockin Z to be very peaceful. I only needed water and electricity which were conveniently located in the large sites. Hearing and seeing the horses was a nice bonus. This was a very nice place to camp while visiting family.

Great location to explore the area including Port Hadlock, Port Townsend, Discovery Bay, Sequim, Dungeoness Spit as we searched for a retirement location. The site is nestled among other homes but we hardly saw anyone and definitely didn’t hear anyone. We had 3 dogs with us and it was nice to not have other dogs barking and agitating them. We were able to relax and enjoy the view. The site was well kept and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time here. I’ve passed this place dozens of times over the years but never stopped by, I wish we had sooner! Clean, quiet campground with tons of amenities. Staff were wonderful and it’s close to tons of great hiking trails!
Full RV hookups. WiFi, great cell reception with AT&T. They also had a nice hot tub, laundry facilities, and a dock across the road with some great views of the water.

Nice little off grid farm with pleasant animals and kind helpful host. Very quiet stay, would stay again no question. The power lines are very high up I can barely even notice them and almost silent too. Decent reception for AT&T, was able to game on my hotspot no problem.

I had a great experience at this RV campsite and would definitely recommend it to other visitors. The site is well-maintained, peaceful, and thoughtfully laid out, making it easy to relax and enjoy the outdoors. It is spacious, clean, and provide a good level of privacy. Everything felt organized and well cared for, which made the stay comfortable and hassle-free. It’s clear that the campground is managed with attention to detail.
Although there is a nearby gun range, the gunfire was not an issue at all and did not interfere with our stay. Noise levels overall were very reasonable, and the atmosphere remained calm and enjoyable throughout our visit.
This is a great spot for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable RV campground with a relaxed environment. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a reliable and pleasant camping experience.
