Lawnacres is a 20 acre farm that focuses on enhancing wellbeing through the presence of horses and nature. The Bunky itself is a converted horse stall in one of the barns on the property. The glamping space is approximately 10x12, with a queen size log bed and wide rustic cedar plank flooring. The “stall” to the north houses an outdoor shower and sauna. It’s about a 30 foot walk to the outhouse. The stalls to the south are usually used by horses during the day, but they sleep in a different barn at night. Guests are free to amble about the acreage, which has a stream, a wooded path and some wide open meadow. Need some quiet time to get to that writing/art/journaling project you’ve been dreaming about? We have a 20x20 outdoor platform that’s ideal for your yoga/meditation practice. Give yourself the gift of your own personal retreat. We’re located about 40 minutes northeast of downtown Seattle, 15 minutes from Woodinville. It’s a perfect escape from urban life with just a short drive. Because we have horses, chickens and dogs (as well as visiting deer and coyotes) we don’t allow guests to bring their own animals.

8. Treehouse Place at Deer Ridge!

9.3mi from Monroe · 6 sites · Lodging
We can't wait for you to experience this tiny house in the woods. Check back weekly to see our progress photos! We call this a treehouse but it's technically supported by posts (nicer to the trees). There is a fullsize high end queen memory foam bed on the upper floor. Yes, this is a 2 story treehouse! On the second floor there is also a children's sleeping loft which overlooks the rest of the bedroom. This loft is suitable for a small child or 2 but headroom is only a few feet. We found it also requires some youthfull agility to get up there. A beautiful knotty alder slidding barn door leads from the bedroom to a private bathroom with pedestal sink and odorless composting toilet. There is a small kitchen with a coffee maker, mini fridge, induction cooktop, mini crockpot, and enough dishes and glasses to enjoy a simple meal or drink. Water pressure in the kitchen and throughout is good! There is a soaking tub on the main floor near the fireplace and TV with free Netflix. This luxury tub is sure to be a favorite amongst guests. I designed a non traditional floor plan knowing that this would be used primarily as a couples retreat. You can literally be soaking in the tub and watching TV by the fire while your significant other is preparing a meal in the kitchen all in the same space. We find the layout very romantic and unlike anything else out there. There is also a large hot tub avalible for our guests near the main house. You are welcome to use this hot tub anytime if you don't mind it being by the main home. Free Wifi. No cable TV but we supply Netflix on the hi-speed guest network. Guests will have free parking in our large circular driveway suitable for cars, trucks, or even RVs under 31ft.

Wildlife galore including bald and golden eagles, red tail hawks, deer, raccoons, heron and coyotes. Some nights, we have live music in the evening by one of South Whidbey's amazing bands and beer flowing from the taps built into the wall of the cabana. It is just me and an occasional worker operating the property so you may see us weeding, feeding farm animals or watering some of the many gardens. You are encouraged to participate in activities on the farm and children are welcome to do the same. We are 5 minutes from Bailey's Corner Store, Whidbey's best burger joint, which has great music various nights of the week, and Ogres Brewery which also has great entertainment and beer. Langley and Freeland are each 20 minutes away. Note that all sites are TENT-ONLY sites. There is no car, roof-top tent or RV camping availability.
