* RV's: Contact me if you need portable or non portable water which may or not be available depending on water supplies.

Tward the end of july the river starts to recede opening up more possibilities of having interaction with the river. That being said its crucial you keep an eye out on your kids. Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. Maximum 13 night stay, NO long term rental space available. Dogs welcome on leash or fenced at all times. Includes use of communal area to cook, outdoor washup sink, and access to fire pit with wood and fire starters available. We are a strictly non smoking site, except inside your rig.
Glamping tent in the forest is 16 x 24 ft, with pillow top queen bed, kitchenette with refrigerator/microwave/drinking water/dishes, comfy seating and 8 foot covered deck. Access to full bathroom, cooking facility, communal fire pit, BBQ, Wi-Fi available, full electrical power in tent, woodstove in tent with wood provided. Not suitable for small children, and no pets allowed in tent.
Walk in Campsites - choose your own place to spend the night on the open pasture or in our forest. 1 tent per reservation. In forest tent site is small, single tent for no more than 2 people recommended. Includes use of communal area to cook, use of picnic tables, Full bathroom and access to fire pit with free wood and firestarters. We do not allow in-car camping without tent topper.

End of the road. Start of an epic camping weekend. River to the side, Cascade foothill surround. Each site has river access except for lookers left which is not accessible due to the steep grade. Close to the north cascades. Minutes from live music, bars and quality mexican restaurant. Rails to trail for bikes and walking. Tward the end of july the river starts to recede opening up more possibilities of having interaction with the river. That being said its crucial you keep an eye out on your kids. We had a guy out here who almost killed his kids multiple times underestimating the current. Watch out!!Kinda going for the peaceful, listen to the river and birds, vibe. They even had firewood for us, no extra charge! David, his wife, and everyone else that helps maintain the property were SO sweet and welcoming. Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. Judy’s land was the perfect spot for an overnight stay on Vashon Island. We had our VW camper van and found a convenient place to park and spend the night. The facilities were great. There is a kitchen, showers, a large event room, but this time of year all was pretty quiet.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at Greenstone Farms. The farm and the view are quite beautiful. We had fresh eggs for breakfast which was lovely. The horses visited us before headed home.
The restroom was very clean and nice and had a heater which was nice since it was raining the night we showed up. We would have stayed longer but my husband wanted his recliner for the Mariners playoff game. I didn’t foresee that obstacle.

As a solo female RVer, I’m always looking for a safe spot to park and this private land tucked back in the woods was perfect for a three day stay on Whidbey. The bonus access to a kitchen, indoor bathroom and shower was great! Ryan, the host when I was there, was very friendly and helpful. And having the house lights on when I arrived (much later than I planned and after dark!) was most helpful to be able to quickly get the RV settled for the first night. I couldn’t quite find a level spot, but had I spent a bit more time and worked with my tire blocks I’m sure I could have figured it out. The turnaround was tight but doable with a 19 ft trailer and a 15 ft SUV but some longer rigs might have to do some fancy turns to get out. Overall, great value! Thanks for hosting on Hipcamp!

This is one of the better hip camps I’ve had. Really awesome space and will definitely come back. Great, responsive host. Just two things to note for people looking to book:
1) The sauna doesn’t get “sauna” hot and functions pretty much as a warm room. It’s still awesome that it’s there, but if you’re booking just for the sauna you should know that it doesn’t really get up to temp.
2) as I said, this space is awesome and as-advertised, but your enjoyment may vary depending on who else is camping here while you are. There is plenty of room to spread out, but if the other parties sharing this space with you have different ideas about privacy, noise, off-leash dog etiquette, etc., it could be annoying.

I stayed one night at Flamingo Ridge to organize my gear and prep for future car camping trips—and it was just what I needed. As an older woman traveling solo, I appreciated the quiet woods and the sense of safety and welcome.
Ryan, my host, was incredibly helpful. The parking area was a bit uneven for my car “Sparky,” but he patiently helped me find the best spot. I was also greeted by Wendy and Peter—two exuberant German poodle puppies who added a delightful touch of joy to the experience.
There’s a communal kitchen and bathroom, both clean and functional, with clear rules and information posted near the entrance. It’s not fancy, but it’s well thought out and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
If you’re looking for a peaceful place to reset, test your gear, or just enjoy the forest (with a few tail wags thrown in), Flamingo Ridge is a great choice. I left feeling more prepared and more relaxed than when I arrived.

This was the perfect site for our gathering! The playground was a hit for kiddos, and was so nice to have a flushing toilet. The property is so beautiful, and was so nice to sit under the gazebo with a fire even when it was drizzling. The walk to the river was fun, and the kids loved looking at frogs and caterpillars. Lorrie was super communicative and the place was easy to find. Only thing to note is there is a rooster on an adjacent property who will cockadoodledooo all morning, so if you are a light sleeper it can be hard to sleep after about 4am.
