There was originally a camper parked here with a roof over it while the main house was built back in th 1970s. When the home was finished the camper was moved out and it was turned into the cabin. It originally had a wood stove but it was always to hot so we replaced it with an electric heater and at the same time remodeled the interior. It is very comfortable for two to three people as it only has the bunk beds, microwave, small closet and dining table with 4 chairs including a rocker and a cabinet with pots, pans and silverware for your convenience.

Includes bunk beds, frig, microwave, hot plate, coffee pot, toaster, dining table, small closet, firepit with firewood and horseshoe pits with shoes. One mile to boat launch. Ten miles to nearest loaf of bread. Close to logging roads. You will have aprox. one acre to yourself. Quiet and secluded. We are close by if ever there is anything you need.
Recently we were very close to the Crown Creek fire and a hotshot crew came and "prept" our property and cut down a lot of the underbrush therefore changing the landscape around the cabin so the main picture has changed to the current one.

Shaped by behemoth glaciers that carved out the land over 10,000 years ago, Colville National Forest is a gorgeous treasure spanning 1.1 million acres (props to President Theodore Roosevelt for saving it). The lands include a number of geographic features including the Kettle River, upper reach of the Columbia River and the Selkirk mountain range, which is considered to be at the foothills of the Rockies.
Residents (including several Native American tribes) and visitors enjoy camping, nearly 500 miles of hiking trails, mountain biking, lakes, rivers and some too legit to quit wildlife including grizzly bears, cougars, bald eagles and the last remaining herd of caribou in the US. That was almost starting to sound like an indie music festival lineup! Did we mention it’s an inspiring place? Situated between Big Sky Country of Montana and the vibrant evergreen fields of Washington (which seriously look Photoshopped to the naked eye), this forest holds more than half the state’s surface waters, and wilderness vibes are guaranteed by the deer, elk, bear, caribou, and wolf populations who call this spot home. Moist maritime air comes in from the Pacific coast, and historic cabins dot the landscape. Our property is located west of Sandpoint, ID near the "Happy Fork Gap" at the southern terminus of the Selkirk Crest. During the heat of summer it's a bit cooler up here thanks to tall trees and fresh mtn breezes. Come enjoy birdwatching or maybe see a moose and her babies cruise by. Our property has a colorful history. In the 80's a squatters cabin was erected on it until it met its demise by a legendary resident mtn man (RIP). It was once a logging camp long ago but nowadays it is a home for all living things and a 35+ yr old forest with an array of tree species such as cedar, larch, pines, hemlock, spruce and more. Artesian springs bubble up and into a year round creek which flows through.

Welcome to the base of the beautiful Selkirk mountains, we’re nestled in between the beautiful lake resort town of Sandpoint ID and the picturesque resort area know at priest lake. Our property was originally homesteaded back before Idaho was a state by a trapper who fell in love with this lush little valley in the mountains. Once Idaho did become a state, the officials decided to keep the land surrounding this little oasis making it completely surrounded by thousands of acres of state endowment land usable to the public. There are three full time creeks that run though the property along with a few beaver made ponds and one large man made swimming pond.
The site boasts hundreds of campsites ranging from dry RV parking to small tents on rock ledges overlooking the lush valley.
Expect to see deer, elk, moose, turkey and a few other wild animals roaming the land around you. We have the space for event camping as well, we have a large covered gazebo for shaded group meals. Furthermore there is also a band stand for ceremonies and live music on select dates.
We’re only 12 miles from town but you get that feeling of being out of the rush of the outside world.

This cozy, partially screened guest hut is situated on 200 sweeping acres of pastureland and steep, rolling hillsides. Iron Mountain Ranch features the owner's hand built straw bale house which is run off solar power, a friendly herd of horses along with a few cats and three dogs. (look up the ranch social media accounts online for additional pictures).
Since this hut is built with partially screened walls and partial solid walls, you should consider the season when requesting a booking. I will accept bookings starting on 1st but even in May the night time temps can be cold. Checking the local Northport, WA weather forecast can give you an idea of what weather we will be expecting. Please consider this luxurious tent camping as there is no heat source in the hut, no electricity or running water. Please bring lanterns, flashlights, headlamps etc.
The futon is a queen size and I can provide sheets and bedding but prefer you bring your own if possible as we have no laundry facilities on the ranch.
***There is a very limited supply of potable water on the property so you are required to pack in your drinking and cooking water. Washing and shower water is provided.***
In the early spring and late fall we cover the screened walls of the hut with clear window plastic so that the nights are not very cold inside the screen house. We provide a propane buddy heater that is safe for indoor use to help keep the space warm for you!! A hot water shower with equally impressive views is close to the straw house but still as private as you need it to be.
Once owned by the Lael family (whom the road is named after), this land supported lots of horses in it's past. The Lael family homsteaded this area, raising horses on their acerage and the original Lael house is still standing on the lower section of the property. Old and beautiful apple, plum, cherry and pear trees still thrive in the orchard they planted along with massive willow trees. I'm honored to continue the Lael's love for the equine with my own herd of horses.
Horseback riding is available upon request and for an additional fee of $75 per person for a ride.

We ask that no fireworks or firearms be brought or used onsite. Because wildfire risk is almost always a concern. the fire pit, equipped with kindling and dry tinder (plus water to dowse) may not always be permissible.
We suggest campers come equipped with binoculars, mosquito repellent and this year particularly, please be tick-aware. Bear-spray may be brought along for added insurance, although we've never had to use our own.
An acceptance of risk/hold-harmless waiver of liability will be provided all campers & their guests upon booking, returned to host at time of visitation (or prior preferably). This is 14 acres of private, undeveloped forest land at the base of Bald Mountain in northeastern Washington. No water, no toilet, no electricity—just trees, creeks, and whatever the heck you need to work out with nature.
There are no designated campsites. You’ll choose your own spot—flat, forested, tucked-away, or by the seasonal creek. Some areas are cut away just enough to help keep the ticks out of your underwear (you’re welcome), but this is still very much wild land.
You’ll find:
• Towering evergreens
• Snowberries, serviceberries, and wild grasses. Moss covered rocks and perhaps a spot we have yet to discover.
• Mosquitoes (don’t say we didn’t warn you)
• A whole lot of space to wander, both literally and figuratively
This site is best suited for tent campers, car campers, backpackers, and solitude seekers. Artists, writers, and wandering weirdos are especially welcome.
Trailers UNDER 22 feet only. Because of the primitive terrain we are not set up for anything over 22 feet. Please do NOT BRING anything larger. We truly appreciate it.
Camper vans would do well at Primitive Acres.
The land is remote, about 30 minutes from Spokane and 10 minutes from Loon Lake, and you likely won’t see another soul—but there are neighboring parcels nearby, each about 20 acres in size. You’ll feel alone, but not abandoned.
No generators, no parties, no pets off leash.
Pack it in, pack it out. No fires unless permitted.
This isn’t a resort, but it’s definitely a reset.
Come prepared. Come curious. Come undone, if you need to.
WARNING: wild animals do roam through here. We ask that you watch your pets and keep them on leash for their safety. The neighbors also have a friendly old dog who likes to wander.

Tranquility on Trout creek is only 30 minutes from down town Bonner's Ferry, it's quiet and remote. Fall asleep to the babbling creek and breeze blowing through the treetops, or gaze at whatever may be happening in the sky! Our grounds offer an instant connection with nature. Wildlife is abundant, but large animals rarely approach the property. At the end of Trout Creek you will find the Pyramid and Ball Lakes trail head, where horses are also permitted. The hike to Pyramid Lake is easy, and a good day trip. We will be permitting horses at Serenity under individual circumstances and your needs. Our property is off grid so we cannot offer electricity. There are a few solar lights on the grounds, but a head lamp and charging box are most recommended. This is our first year, so your patience and suggestions would be so appreciated. To start we have 2 large RV spots, and tent or car camping is at your discretion, you pick a spot. A professionally maintained outhouse is provided, and you will have access to an abundance of the most delicious clean water. Soak your feet in the creek and take in the sounds of the birds and the forest. When the sun falls behind the mountain we will get the fire pit going (as long as we are permitted), circled with wood benches from our fallen trees. Bring your marshmallows!
Finally, if you should need it, we have Starlink Wi-fi, and a cell booster. Well behaved dogs are also welcome. Come stay with us and make some memories🤩

We have a farmstore on site for eggs, steak, chops, bacon and milk. Sometimes we even have soft serve, organic ice cream available. Pickleball and basketball court is also available at the farm for you to enjoy. A shower and bathroom is also provided for guests.
There are 29 acres of pasture and 15 acres of woods. Spectacular views nestled in a beautiful valley between the Rocky Mountains!

Welcome to the base of the beautiful Selkirk mountains, we’re nestled in between the beautiful lake resort town of Sandpoint ID and the picturesque resort area know at priest lake. Our property was originally homesteaded back before Idaho was a state by a trapper who fell in love with this lush little valley in the mountains. Once Idaho did become a state, the officials decided to keep the land surrounding this little oasis making it completely surrounded by thousands of acres of state endowment land usable to the public. There are three full time creeks that run though the property along with a few beaver made ponds and one large man made swimming pond.
The site boasts hundreds of campsites ranging from dry RV parking to small tents on rock ledges overlooking the lush valley.
Expect to see deer, elk, moose, turkey and a few other wild animals roaming the land around you. We have the space for event camping as well, we have a large covered gazebo for shaded group meals. Furthermore there is also a band stand for ceremonies and live music on select dates.
We’re only 12 miles from town but you get that feeling of being out of the rush of the outside world.

This cozy, partially screened guest hut is situated on 200 sweeping acres of pastureland and steep, rolling hillsides. Floor to ceiling windows on the west side allow for a gorgeous view of the mountains and the lovely night sky. Iron Mountain Ranch features the owner's hand built straw bale house which is run off solar power, a friendly herd of horses along with a few cats and three dogs. (look up the ranch social media accounts online for additional pictures).
Since this hut is built with partially screened walls and partial solid walls, you should consider the season when requesting a booking. I will accept bookings starting on 1st but even in May the night time temps can be cold. Checking the local Northport, WA weather forecast can give you an idea of what weather we will be expecting. Please consider this luxurious tent camping as there is no heat source in the hut, no electricity or running water. Please bring lanterns, flashlights, headlamps etc.
The futon is a queen size and I can provide sheets and bedding but prefer you bring your own if possible as we have no laundry facilities on the ranch.
***There is a very limited supply of potable water on the property so you are required to pack in your drinking and cooking water. Washing and shower water is provided.***
In the early spring and late fall we cover the screened walls of the hut with clear window plastic so that the nights are not very cold inside the screen house. We provide a propane buddy heater that is safe for indoor use to help keep the space warm for you!! A hot water shower with equally impressive views is close to the straw house but still as private as you need it to be.
Once owned by the Lael family (whom the road is named after), this land supported lots of horses in it's past. The Lael family homsteaded this area, raising horses on their acerage and the original Lael house is still standing on the lower section of the property. Old and beautiful apple, plum, cherry and pear trees still thrive in the orchard they planted along with massive willow trees. I'm honored to continue the Lael's love for the equine with my own herd of horses.
Horseback riding is available upon request and for an additional fee of $75 per person for a ride.

We ask that no fireworks or firearms be brought or used onsite. Because wildfire risk is almost always a concern. the fire pit, equipped with kindling and dry tinder (plus water to dowse) may not always be permissible.
We suggest campers come equipped with binoculars, mosquito repellent and this year particularly, please be tick-aware. Bear-spray may be brought along for added insurance, although we've never had to use our own.

This is 14 acres of private, undeveloped forest land at the base of Bald Mountain in northeastern Washington. No water, no toilet, no electricity—just trees, creeks, and whatever the heck you need to work out with nature.
There are no designated campsites. You’ll choose your own spot—flat, forested, tucked-away, or by the seasonal creek. Some areas are cut away just enough to help keep the ticks out of your underwear (you’re welcome), but this is still very much wild land.

• Snowberries, serviceberries, and wild grasses. Moss covered rocks and perhaps a spot we have yet to discover.

Trailers UNDER 22 feet only. Because of the primitive terrain we are not set up for anything over 22 feet. Please do NOT BRING anything larger. We truly appreciate it.
Camper vans would do well at Primitive Acres.
The land is remote, about 30 minutes from Spokane and 10 minutes from Loon Lake, and you likely won’t see another soul—but there are neighboring parcels nearby, each about 20 acres in size. You’ll feel alone, but not abandoned.
No generators, no parties, no pets off leash.
Pack it in, pack it out. No fires unless permitted.
This isn’t a resort, but it’s definitely a reset.
Come prepared. Come curious. Come undone, if you need to.
WARNING: wild animals do roam through here. We ask that you watch your pets and keep them on leash for their safety. The neighbors also have a friendly old dog who likes to wander.

Tranquility on Trout creek is only 30 minutes from down town Bonner's Ferry, it's quiet and remote. Fall asleep to the babbling creek and breeze blowing through the treetops, or gaze at whatever may be happening in the sky! Our grounds offer an instant connection with nature. Wildlife is abundant, but large animals rarely approach the property. At the end of Trout Creek you will find the Pyramid and Ball Lakes trail head, where horses are also permitted. The hike to Pyramid Lake is easy, and a good day trip. We will be permitting horses at Serenity under individual circumstances and your needs. Our property is off grid so we cannot offer electricity. There are a few solar lights on the grounds, but a head lamp and charging box are most recommended. This is our first year, so your patience and suggestions would be so appreciated. To start we have 2 large RV spots, and tent or car camping is at your discretion, you pick a spot. A professionally maintained outhouse is provided, and you will have access to an abundance of the most delicious clean water. Soak your feet in the creek and take in the sounds of the birds and the forest. When the sun falls behind the mountain we will get the fire pit going (as long as we are permitted), circled with wood benches from our fallen trees. Bring your marshmallows!
Finally, if you should need it, we have Starlink Wi-fi, and a cell booster. Well behaved dogs are also welcome. Come stay with us and make some memories🤩

I had a peaceful and quiet time at this lovely property. I booked for the weekend and ended up being the only one there. Will was a great host and checked in on me daily. My dog and I had a wonderful time. We chilled in the morning, had a swim in the lovely pond, a nice walk and a nap then sat by the fire in the evening. Couldn't be better. We loved our stay at the farm! The tent was private in the woods and we came up to the farm’s shop for fresh ice cream and fresh eggs and also paid extra to help milk a cow haha our daughter loved the cows! The zipper didn’t work on the tent but otherwise everything was so lovely. We used the cook stove and they had some cook supplies in there too which was super nice. Would definitely recommend , I always wanted to try out glamping and the whole family had a lot of fun with it.

This is our second year at Matt and Susan’s place and we plan to return next year again. We love this spot! My sons and I spent the weekend in solitude enjoying good food, board games, and the river! Susan’s fresh cinnamon rolls are the cherry on top of a wonderful experience. We enjoyed swimming and paddle boarding around from the private dock, playing games by lamplight, and watching the wildlife around us. Highly recommend! We’ll be back!

Large space (field) to choose where you want to camp. Or dogs loved to run and we appreciated not needing to keep them leashed. But that because we were the only ones there. My spouse and I had an amazing time camping at Susan and Matt's. They are extremely kind hearted hosts and have a breathtakingly beautiful property along the Pend Orielle River they take great stewardship of. The camp site is very spacious, private, and well accommoted with amenities. We camp a fair amount and this is the best we've ever stayed at. What a way to escape reality for a bit! The land was beautiful and quiet. Directions were clear and concise! The Outhouses were clean and maintained well and bonus wood was provided, just be prepared to cut it (: we personally didn’t swim in the pond, but it was really well maintained. It would be an amazing spot for Early- Mid fall! We didn’t use them, but grills and were there if you bring propane. Overall a beautiful experience, would be fun to do a big family group trip or retreat here!

Fantastic spot for tent camping! Our site was a beautiful little glen, surrounded by trees, with a babbling brook running at the edge. The ground is flat and mostly level, so it worked well for our 10 person tent. Because of Red Flag conditions, we didn't get to use it, but Warner had a fire pit and wood already at the site. There was a large cable spindle that functioned as a good size table. The site has a little trail that leads back into the woods for a relaxing hike if you want. Warner provides an indoor bathroom and potable water from an artesian well, just yards from the "entrance" to our site. There was even a super friendly cat that would stroll through to say 'Hi' once in awhile. It was a fantastically beautiful and relaxing place to spend a long weekend.

This was our second stay with Susan and Matt, and we loved it so much the first time that we booked another trip just a month later. Without question, this is the most special campsite we’ve ever experienced.
The location is incredible—right on the river, nestled in a serene grove of cedar and larch. There’s a unique and calming energy in the trees that makes the whole place feel magical. The river was the perfect temperature, and we spent hours swimming, lounging on the dock, watching eagles hunt, and soaking in the breathtaking sunsets. At night, the sky comes alive with stars, completely free from city lights.
Susan and Matt are the ideal hosts—respectful of privacy, yet always just a text away if you need anything. Staying here feels like coming home, and we can’t wait to return again.

We chose William’s family’s land as our weekend getaway with littles because it offered so many things-wide open space to run and play, pond to swim and cool off, sandy beach, shaded area with lots of great hammock trees. We were so spoiled because we had the WHOLE place to ourselves all weekend so the privacy was unmatched! We met some of the hosts as we were arriving and they were so kind and hospitable-encouraging us to make ourselves at home and giving us a lay of the land! Then we met William on the last day as we were packing up and he was awesome as well-giving us some history on the land and his family as well as inviting us back out for live music!
This place really is a gem, we had no problems hauling our 28’ travel trailer and navigating the roads, the instructions were clear and easy to follow! Only a 10-15 minute drive into priest river. We would definitely bring our little family back here! Thanks for having us!
