We loved this place! We feel so lucky that it was available last minute. It was very spacious. The dog run was great. It was very close to the beach (kiddos could ride their bikes while we followed on foot). It was a quiet street. We are already planning our return!
The only thing to be aware of is wasps. I’m not sure if there is a recent nest or if this is a common thing here. Bring wasp traps and, if possible, a shade that zips. I’m allergic and was stung on my neck while getting my kid out of the car. I was wearing black, no perfume, and hadn’t been eating. So they are pretty aggressive. The nearest open medical clinic on a Saturday afternoon is Aberdeen.

The site was perfect for being close to the main area in Long Beach and the beach, yet was also quiet. The spot was quite level and easy access to the available water and electricity. Nice grassy area to sit on a beautiful day or if needed a covered patio.

Abby’s place is in a great location. Close to everything. We walked to dinner and could have walked to many other things. The beach is just a short drive away. We were able to let the dog out on her cord and she had room to move around. There wasn’t anyone staying in the house while we were there which made it more comfortable for us. The full hookups are always appreciated! There is some road noise but it gets quiet at night. Thanks for sharing your space with us.

Our stay at Tracy’s property on Puget Island in the middle of the Columbia river was divine. We were concluding our weeklong trek through the state and last night was rounded out our stays in wine country, high dessert and the coastal towns dotting the Western Coast. We parked our Sprinter next to the fire pit steps from the beach, watched the tugs, ferry and barges go by, uncorked a local Pinot and toasted to a memorable visit to Oregon. Thank you so much for having us!

Great location, close to town but just far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Perfect property for a group or family event. Grandkids had fun on the swing set and riding their bikes without ever needing to leave the property. Tons of room!
Close enough to the beach to be able to hear the surf with the windows open in our trailer at night.

This is a beautiful spot on the. Columbia River. I stayed twice (at the start and end of a road trip) and both times were so relaxing. I parked my camper van near the water and spent quiet mornings sipping coffee watching the boats go by. I plan to come back so I can spend some time exploring the island and do a little kayaking.

I love the area. .its the finger of God...Longbeach peninsula. And it gets windy. . Abbys place has such a nice area away from the wind..full hookups and barely a walk to downtown...oh and the grass feels like carpet

This was the perfect place for a family get together. I loved how safe it was for my children and dogs. Plenty of room to run and play. Walking distance to the beach and super close to town. We will definitely be back to make more memories at Camp Kraken!

I stayed at this Hipcamp twice in one week to break up a long drive to the Oregon coast, and it was the perfect stop both times. The site is right along the Columbia River — incredibly quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. Waking up in my van to the view of the water and sound of birds was just what I needed. The host’s house is on the property but set back enough that the site still feels private. I’d absolutely stay again.

This was my first RV camping experience and I could not have found a better place to help guide me through all my firsts
Apron arrival the host was there to help guide me into my spot with ease and then when it came time to hook up for my first time ever I was given connectors (I didn’t have) so I could properly be attached…and stands to help the flow…… all just cause I needed it they gave it to me ….. I’m smitten at the community and the support of everyone there.
Then, my three boys were able to roam safely to the club house to play for days on the ping pong table and fooooooseball table …
But the golf course let them put on the green as much as they wanted and my oldest got the sweetest training from the wonderful man at the driving range…I am beyond happy about my experience and it will be hard to go anywhere else, nothing could top this experience!! A plus plus ….thank you Sam and Greg (Craig) my kids will remember this in core memories THANK YOU
