The Navy OLF is nearby. It is recommended you check the flight schedule for dates and times the jets will be flying. Depending on the direction they happen to be flying that night, it can get quite loud. In those instances, ear protection is recommended. About a third of summer weekdays the OLF is used. The jets do not fly on weekends and holidays. Having said all of this, most campers enjoy the airshow, as it is a unique opportunity.
The camp site is approximately 6 acres located in a quiet secluded forest area near highway 525. A fire pit is provided on non-burn ban days. A flat grassy area is big enough to enjoy your recreation activity of choice. Bring your binoculars and check out all the different kinds of birds. Nearby wetlands provide lots of food for birds, bats, and dragonflies. Other wildlife you may see are deer, bunnies, owls, quail, butterflies, garter snakes, and raccoons. Lots of native flora can be identified with your plant identification app or book. The beach is about a mile away where you can hunt for sea glass and enjoy the waves or build yourself a shelter out of driftwood.
The mostly flat gravel road can accommodate any size RV.
10 minutes to Coupeville, Greenbank Farm, Ebey's Landing, Port Townsend Ferry, and Patmore Pit Dog Park.

The site has a 30 amp hook up (as well as a 50A hookup option or 20A outlet for any other appliances that may need to be plugged in). When you come down the driveway, you take a right at the first fork to drive into the large graveled parking lot, where you will find the designated parking spot against the North side of the barn.
There is (1) sani-can unit (toilet) that is serviced monthly available for use, and a sink for handwashing and an additional fresh water supply. The metal trash bin next to the sani-can is for your use - please do not use any other trash cans in or outside of the barn as these are for events only.
You will also find a wood firepit and chairs available for use right beside your site. Please bring your own wood to, or feel free to purchase wood through this listing. Also feel free to enjoy the covered seating area alongside the west side of the barn, overlooking the animals, gardens and expansive valley view!
We are also situated less than a 10-minute drive away from an easily accessible dump station in Port Ludlow, on the way to the Hood Canal Bridge.
Please understand that we are a working farm that hosts businesses and other visitors. You will most likely see us and perhaps other guests during your stay! Our home is further down the driveway (to the south of the barn) and we have land mates and an Airbnb unit attached to our house. You will likely hear the sounds of farm projects, animals and people at times. We also live off the busy Beaver Valley road, making us an ideal location for access to the greater Peninsula, but also please know that you may notice road noise at times during your stay with us. We are not in a remote area that is completely silent - we are a bustling farm in a happening place. If you are seeking somewhere very remote without a lot of noise, projects or people coming and going, our site is sadly not for you. This is just the reality of our situation and we always want to make sure our guests know what to expect. That said, this also makes for an exciting, immersive experience if you're looking to connect with the bustling farming and food culture in our region! We also often have products fresh off the farm for your enjoyment while you're here or to take with you on the rest of your travels, and we have lots of local recommendations for food and activities during your stay!

At 180 acres Glendale Farm in Chimacum, in operation since 1857, is one of the largest single agricultural properties remaining in Jefferson County. The farm includes prime agricultural soils, over half a mile of East Chimacum Creek, and forested areas. The easement protects a buffer zone for salmon and wildlife habitat along the east fork of Chimacum Creek and protects the agricultural and forestry values of the property forever. Jefferson Land Trust and collaborative partners purchased the easement to Insure Glendale farm maintains agricultural practices and wildlife habitat forever! Please be aware this is a working farm with poultry, livestock, and the use of farm equipment providing a great experience for farm life.
Glendale Farm experienced a devastating loss in 2022 when the primary residence burned down. Since then, we have been engaged in a long-term restoration effort, including extensive cleanup from an extreme hoarding situation.
Please wear sturdy shoes at all times, as we are still carefully removing glass and other sharp debris from parts of the property. You may encounter old farm equipment, a few derelict RVs, and other remnants of the site's history as we continue this work.
We appreciate your patience as we gradually improve the farm with future showers, a communal kitchen, gathering spaces, and enhanced landscaping. Your stay directly supports these ongoing improvements.

We made this last-minute reservation to escape the wildfire smoke, and we’re so glad we did! The location was perfect for sightseeing in the area, and we even took the ferry over to Seattle.
This Hipcamp was perfect for our three-night stay. Our site was level, there was a nice grassy area between the sites and a table with two chairs, and having full hookups was a huge plus. We had plenty of room to back in our 36-foot Class A motorhome and still park our Jeep next to it.
The owners were friendly, helpful, and available whenever we had a question. The entire property was very clean, peaceful, and quiet. One of our favorite things was watching the deer that came to visit every day!
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if we’re ever back in the area. Highly recommend, especially for fellow RV travelers!

We enjoyed our stay at peaceful Olympic peninsula rv camp. We were greeted by the host, who was very friendly, and welcoming. The spot we reserved was quaint and had full hookups, and a grassy area with a picnic table. We loved the wild life. There were rabbits, squirrels and deer. We definitely would stay here again.

This was an amazing stay at this Hipcamp! Cindy and Bob were wonderful hosts—welcoming, personable, and friendly throughout our visit. Their beautiful property is well-maintained and provides a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.
Access to the property was easy, and there was plenty of room to maneuver and park my 35-foot fifth wheel. My campsite was quaint, well-groomed, and offered the perfect balance of comfort and privacy.
One of the highlights of our stay was being greeted each morning and evening by a resident deer and her fawns. A tip for future guests: bring a few fresh apples to share. If you keep pets quiet and remain calm and non-threatening, the deer may wander right up to your site. We enjoyed watching them while tossing out a few cut-up apple slices.
I highly recommend this location, whether you're looking for a convenient home base to explore the area or simply seeking a quiet escape to relax and unwind.

Nice, clean and simple RV camp spot. I was thinking it would have a feel of being in an industrial park, but surprisingly it felt like we were in the country. Perfectly situated to hide the industrial structures. Bonus to have 4 nice individual bathrooms, clean and fully stocked? each with a full shower. We will definitely be back, maybe rent some bikes and explore those trails. It was just a quick little overnight stay for us, in town to visit family, but a great spot! Thanks Jeff and crew!!!

We enjoyed our stop over at RV@Olympic. It was truly very clean in all the buildings and the dog park was usually free for our little dogs as well. We really appreciated being fairly close to the clubhouse to use the restroom & showers (new construction with a/c). Friendly staff and a comfortable spot to stay.

This is a commercial RV park that books partially through Hipcamp. That said, the park is fairly new, clean and well maintained. The showers are private clean and spacious. There is a robot store (not sure what the correct term is) for snacks and other necessities. The spaces are fairly close together with no physical boundaries but it was perfect for our purposes as a stop coming to and from the ferry to Victoria Isand. We would certainly stay there again.

This was there perfect place to stay for the 4th of July. Beautiful views, a clean and well kept camp site, and excellent communication by our host Jeff were just a few of the reasons we enjoyed staying here. Access to the neighborhood boat ramp and all of the nearby recreation activities were added bonuses. If you need a place to relax and enjoy some time near Port Ludlow this is it.

We camped for 3 nights at site E. The sites are clean and well leveled on gravel and the property was quiet, well maintained and deer friendly. The owners home is on site and they are friendly and helpful if you need them but also non-intrusive. With full hookups this was a good place to base at for exploring the area!
