We had a wonderful overnight stay at Black Swan. The wildlife is amazing and we have a deer and her baby exploring the camp and got to see a Kingfisher exploring the area! The sites are clean and well maintained and so is the portaloo! Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

I loved camping here! It was quiet and peaceful. Very clean bathroom and a nice area to eat and prep your food. We had the place to ourselves if you don’t count all the birds singing in the morning.

Decent spot to park and sleep yet there was pretty frequent traffic going in and out of the campsite despite it being remote. My girlfriend said it was the cleanest porta potty she’s ever seen. There were a handful of campers yet we just stayed the night in our car.
My stay at Black Swan's beautiful property provided the safety, peacefulness and rest I needed after attending a wedding in Port Gamble. I arrived a bit later than anticipated, and the owners came out to greet me and guide me to my camp spot. Their friendliness and helpfulness was much appreciated, and I enjoyed my conversation with them the following morning to get ideas for my next visit to this beautiful HipCamp and area of Washington State. During the night, I was treated to hearing a nearby Barred Owl, which was a real treat, otherwise, the night was completely quiet. I definitely recommend staying at this sweet HipCamp and I can't wait to return with my son to further explore Port Gamble and the nearby waterfall and trails Black Swan informed me about.

Everything as described- simple, easy to find. The sites are close together, so if you have neighbors you won’t have a lot of privacy. Nice stargazing on a clear night.
This site was so quiet on a Tuesday night. It is a great value for the price. Potable water and a porta-potty were a definite plus for me. It is a bit close to a road, so there was some road noise, but not too bad. The process to get to the site was super simple and easy. And I was able to park right by my site. This site is not exactly scenic, but it worked in a pinch while planning a trip out to the Olympic peninsula.

We were just passing through and needed a tent campsite for the night. It was easy to find, level and the porta potties were very clean. We would stay here again in the future!
Super easy to find and great if you need a last minute place to sleep for the night! The frogs in the pond were pretty noisy throughout the night and I loved it! That’s just something to be aware of if it bothers you. This is a great area for birding as well.
Loved our stay! Beautiful and peaceful. Needed a spot to rest and stay for a night on our way to our destination and this was perfect for us. Hosts were very sweet and welcoming. The deer must be common because we saw a few (as shown in their photos) and heard all kinds of birds in the morning. Cool old farm land and the campsites are right up against the pond. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a charming and rustic place to stay away from the hustle and bustle and city lights.

This is actually my 2nd review. After 2 nights I chose to extend my stay ...so there's that! The hosts are very kind & extremely knowledgeable about the area. It is a great "home base" for sightseers & adventurers! Spotless porta-potty, conveniet location & if you're lucky, you can see some blue heron. There are also deer, owls & frogs to chill out with.
As someone who prefers to camp away from towns or crowded parks this site was perfect!
While it is next to a construction vehicle parking area, it never feels intrusive on the camp side next to the ponds. There are deer, racoons & a large variety of birds.
The portapotty is spotless, the hosts are kind and welcoming without being intrusive. There are lots of nice areas all around, including waterfalls, the little town of Port Ludlow, beautiful back roads & stunning views of the bay
There is not yet potable water but I know they are almost there. Weather you're looking for a place to stay for a few days or just need a safe place for the night they have you covered!
The site was exactly what we wanted for an overnight stay. The grounds were clean, well-maintained and wooded. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location gave us easy access to all the places in eastern Jefferson County we wanted to visit. My dog, Jack, also felt very comfortable in the site.
