Our property is located approximately 18 miles west of Leavenworth and approximately 17 east of Stevens Pass. The property is 4.65 acres that includes a park that we created. We can accommodate RV's (up to 30 feet), camper trailers and tents. There is a 30amp hookup available and access to portable water. Good food and great beer go hand in hand throughout the summer in Leavenworth. Leavenworth offers delicious authentic German food and traditional German beer. There are some great breweries in town and wine tasting opportunities if beer isn't for you. Visit Lake Wenatchee State Park which is approximately 5 miles from Bear Acres. The lake is surrounded by mountains and is an excellent place for fishing, swimming, boating, and hiking. Explore Icicle Creek, which is not only a beautiful area to explore but offers a range of trailheads to various hiking trails. If you're really feeling adventurous, try hiking the popular and beautiful Enchantments. Whitewater rafting on the Wenatchee River is one of the most popular things to do in Leavenworth. The peak season is between May and June, while you’ll find a somewhat more relaxed experience throughout the rest of the summer. Nestled in the Cascade Mountain Range along the Pacific Crest Trail, summertime at Stevens Pass is full of activities. From hiking the Cowboy Mountain Nature Trail to an 18-hole disc golf course to mountain biking, there is something for everyone. The campsite is at the bottom of a rugged drive so an SUV or AWD vehicle are recommended, especially during the wetter seasons of Spring and Fall. When the property was logged approximately 100 years ago they scooped out gravel from the river to make their roads in the area thus creating the back eddy lagoon along the beach. The Department of Fish and Game have a fish ladder at Sunset Falls just upstream and BNSF railroad owns the large vacant tract down stream.A rather peaceful setting, including the rushing sound of the river and the occasional whistle of a train. You will feel refreshed and rejuvenated after you stay at The Landing.Pets are welcome, there is a toilet on site campfires allowed (when burn bans are not in place).
