Most sites offer views of the river, with some looking through the trees and others enjoying wide-open vistas.
Porta potties, communal kitchen and fire pits. 🔥Dish and hand washing stations and The RV's have indoor bathrooms with running water 💦 no showers. 🚿 all cabins are BYO Bedding and they all have a queen size bed. Best for 2 people but some units have room for one or two more depending on if you bring sleeping mats. ( we can provide blow up mattress or pad and bedding/sleeping bags for extra fee)
All units are about 100 ft apart with nice privacy. The Toy Hauler is close to the Chalet Cabin... and that unit is only available if The Chalet guests want more room or the nice bathroom . 🏕️

Purchased in 2013 after a fire came through the area.
We've spent the following years regenerating the land, planting trees, building our house and collecting places for people to rest their heads.
Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry).
We offer multiple listings - the cottage, a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot.
Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk).
Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy.
Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower.
Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk).
Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house.
You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee).
Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis.
Masabaje is a clothing optional space.
We are less than 2 hours from Seattle, 1 hour to Yakima wine country, 40 minutes to Vantage, 40 minutes to Leavenworth, 50 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass, 15 minutes to Ellensburg, 25 minutes to Roslyn, 25 minutes to Yakima River Canyon for floating and hiking, and so much more!

Welcome to ‘Index Riverside Camp’ located just past the adorable and stunningly beautiful town of Index. We offer two sites on our 3 ½ acre waterfront property which is set right upon the Northfork of the Skykomish River.
Site 1: 'The Camper's Site'
The ‘RV/Camper Van and Tent Site’ is located to the left as you pull into the property. Park, situate and make yourselves at home near your above ground fire pit and picnic table overlooking that beautiful river. Set up your scene and enjoy.
Site 2: 'The Little Rustic Red Cabin'
The ‘Little Rustic Red Cabin’ site offers an in-ground heart shaped fire pit as well as a picnic table for outdoor dining. Inside the 358 sq ft cabin is a wood stove that heats the place up nicely. The cabin sleeps 4, offering one Queen size bed and one queen futon in the living room that faces a smart t.v. utilizing Starlink Internet. The kitchen offers all of your kitchen needs(minus running water from the faucet).
Also, in the cabin you’ll find a smart speaker to hook up to, two African djembe drums, a ukulele and an Australian didgeridoo. Let your musical side come on out!
Note:
There is no running water on site or septic system. Bring your own drinking water or filter from the river. Water is available in town as well. A porta potty is centered between the camping site and the cabin site.
Generously portioned bundles of firewood including kindling are for purchase located under the cute A-frame structure near outhouse.
Bring your food, water, camp chairs, bug spray, swimsuits, water toys and all your essentials for having a lovely camping and outdoor experience in one of the most beautiful areas of Washington State.
Enjoy the lovely walking trails on the back 3 acres of the property. Please take your trash and recycle and clean up after your doggies. Secure your food items so as to not attract wildlife or bears. Be safe in the river. Have fun!

What a wonderful place to park our eurovan for 3 nights. Perfect weather. Gorgeous views. Such a nice luxury to have a sink, plenty of counter space, mini fridge, microwave, comfy chairs and a propane firepit. Lovely covered area with lights, fans...whatever you need. Porta potty was super clean with a nice hand washing sink inside the porta potty (didn't even know there was such a thing!) Private as the two RV spots are on the other side of the property. We loved our stay and plan to be back. Kim is a wonderful thoughtful host.

We needed a good midpoint spot for an overnight, so unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful setting as much as we would have liked! Clear directions even arriving at night.
The space was very well maintained, with beautiful views and snuggled right up next to a vineyard. Port-o-potty access was a short-ish walk from the camping spots.

This is such a lovely spot. My friend and I got in on a foggy afternoon and the next morning when the sun came out we were floored by the view. There is a nice shower that was incredible to have and was well stocked with necessities for guests to use. Having a dishwashing sink is a luxury on a camping trip especially one as deep as this one was and that has hot water. You can really tell that the hosts care a lot about providing the best experience for their guests. The property is also conveniently located just a few minutes away from a lot of great hikes and waterfront areas. The host was so kind and helpful when we spoke to her and recommended some hikes to us which was amazing. I can’t wait to stay here again.

Loved all of the details of the campsite! Including the lights, spider web wands, games, hammock, trails and the wonderful amenities (shower and bathroom!). The Big Eddy is very close and beautiful! Our kids loved it. Paula was great! Will be back! The cabins look amazing as well.

Paula was by far the best host we’ve had through hip camp. We loved the camper space and the property itself was beautiful. It is walking distance from a river that we swam in. We would definitely stay here and recommend it to anyone looking to camp in gold bar. We will be back!

Paula's property was great! Just a few sites, with no sightlines between them. We heard our neighbors one evening, but that was more their fault than that of sight proximity, and it wasn't obnoxious by any means. The campsite itself was great. We were in a rooftop tent, and there was plenty of space for us vertically and laterally. I'm not sure the site would be appropriate for a palatial 8-10 person car-camping tent, but I don't know think it's advertised as such, so not knocking it--just dropping an FYI for others looking.
My wife grew up on crappy well water, so she was nervous about the "filtered well water", but the post's touting it is well-warranted--even she agreed it was quite good!
Paula was also very helpful and communicative, checking in multiple times via the app, but not intrusive or anything.
Would definitely stay again if/when we head back that way!

We enjoyed our stay at Plain Valley Farm. Mike was fast to communicate and met us as we entered his farm. His brewery was a little speak easy, and wonderful. Good times in at Plain Valley!
