This quiet little spot is set up for a simple stay in nature, with a few thoughtful touches to make it extra comfortable. You’ll be surrounded by pines, natural ground cover, and a small grassy area that is new, so it’s still a little patchy.
The on-site travel trailer offers a comfortable place to sleep and relax and has both heat and air conditioning. There is a queen-size bed, and the kitchen table can be converted into another small bed. The bathroom and kitchen are fully functional, and there is a coffee bar with a Keurig coffee maker and coffee pods.
This is a great space if you’re looking for a simple place to relax or use as a basecamp and appreciate a bit of rustic charm with some built-in comfort. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean, private, and intentionally set up to feel cozy and low-key. A propane fire table has recently been added, as well as Wi-Fi.
The campsite sits on a spur off a residential driveway, separate from the main home. You’ll have your own defined space and privacy, but you may occasionally see or hear light activity on the property, such as cars traveling the driveway.
The campsite is about 150 yards up the driveway from the main road, which provides a good buffer, but some road noise may still be noticeable. There is also a pasture with horses about 50 feet from the campsite, so please keep this in mind if you bring your furry friend.
Speelyi Beach on Lake Cle Elum is a 2-minute drive away, and the town of Roslyn is just 5 minutes away. The Last Resort, which offers e-bike and water sports rentals, is just up the road.
There are numerous hiking trails for every skill level within close proximity. There’s so much to do! Or, you can simply relax in a comfy chair at the campsite and read a good book.

We've spent the following years regenerating the land, planting trees, building our house and collecting places for people to rest their heads.
Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry).
We offer multiple listings - the cottage, a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot.
Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk).
Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy.
Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower.
Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk).
Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house.
You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee).
Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis.
Masabaje is a clothing optional space.
We are less than 2 hours from Seattle, 1 hour to Yakima wine country, 40 minutes to Vantage, 40 minutes to Leavenworth, 50 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass, 15 minutes to Ellensburg, 25 minutes to Roslyn, 25 minutes to Yakima River Canyon for floating and hiking, and so much more!

We are completely off grid. Each site has access to water from our spring, wood from the forest and propane stove in the kitchen.
Our goal is to make it easy for folks to come and connect to nature.
We are located just 3 miles from I-90. This makes our property easily accessible and makes short trips to and from town. The downside is there is road noise, but it mostly disappears in the background.

The ‘RV/Camper Van and Tent Site’ is located to the left as you pull into the property. Park, situate and make yourselves at home near your above ground fire pit and picnic table overlooking that beautiful river. Set up your scene and enjoy.
Site 2: 'The Little Rustic Red Cabin'
The ‘Little Rustic Red Cabin’ site offers an in-ground heart shaped fire pit as well as a picnic table for outdoor dining. Inside the 358 sq ft cabin is a wood stove that heats the place up nicely. The cabin sleeps 4, offering one Queen size bed and one queen futon in the living room that faces a smart t.v. utilizing Starlink Internet. The kitchen offers all of your kitchen needs(minus running water from the faucet).
Also, in the cabin you’ll find a smart speaker to hook up to, two African djembe drums, a ukulele and an Australian didgeridoo. Let your musical side come on out!
Note:
There is no running water on site or septic system. Bring your own drinking water or filter from the river. Water is available in town as well. A porta potty is centered between the camping site and the cabin site.
Generously portioned bundles of firewood including kindling are for purchase located under the cute A-frame structure near outhouse.
Bring your food, water, camp chairs, bug spray, swimsuits, water toys and all your essentials for having a lovely camping and outdoor experience in one of the most beautiful areas of Washington State.
Enjoy the lovely walking trails on the back 3 acres of the property. Please take your trash and recycle and clean up after your doggies. Secure your food items so as to not attract wildlife or bears. Be safe in the river. Have fun!

Despite it being located on the other side of the train tracks, we always seem to have a good time. We hope you enjoy it too!

Outdoor enthusiast will enjoy this glamp spot! Utilize the dry cabin equipped with two twin size beds, a pullout couch bed, a dining table with 4 chairs & extra seating. With plenty of space outdoors, feel free to pitch a tent or bring your RV for friends! It is a dry cabin meaning there is no running water. We have it powered with a solar panel which should give enough electricity to charge phones & lights as needed. There is also an outhouse with a compost bucket if you'd like to use that. The downside to this lovely parcel is it's on the opposite side of the train tracks, so there will be occasional noise. Maybe it adds to the uniqueness? Just keep that in mind as once in a blue moon, the train does stop so you may be stuck for a few minutes. Oh & those power lines sometimes make a crackling noise. Sometimes we notice it & other times we don't. Now that we got that out of the way, the pros are it's a great place to explore. There are a ton of nearby hikes. This spot is in between Stevens Pass & the famous Alps candy store, with each being about 15 mins away. There is a gas station/convenient store, a few diners, and a rest stop within 5 minutes. Historical Leavenworth is about 20 mins.
There is a spot for campfires, a small 2 burner propane stove & an ice chest for your convenience, but you will need to bring the propane.

Weekend Trip to Fox Hollow
Hidden just beyond the convenience of nearby Ronald, Fox Hollow is a great, zen-inducing getaway. Quiet, private, clean and comfortable with warm ambience and (maybe) a curious, fenced horse. Host was accommodating, communicative, and otherwise non-existent... in other words: excellent. Relatively small shower might be a challenge for taller folk.

Incredible and relaxing time at Paula's relatively new hipcamp. We booked both cabins for 2 nights for our stay. The bunk cabin and A-frame look and feel brand new, with nice materials and a thoughtful layout and amenities list. Super nice kitchens with everything you'd need, including coolers. On top of that, the hot shower and clean toilet really make things feel comfortable around the campsite!
Lots of berries and foreageables around the property as well (when in season). River access with a beach area is available close to the hipcamp for picnics or water activities. We had a great time Glamping and connecting with nature and would definitely book again.

Weekend Trip to Sky River Glamp N Camp 🏕️🔥
We had a great weekend at the A-frame. Close to all the hiking off Hwy 2 and an amazing view of the river and mountains from the porch. The community kitchen was convenient to cook up some hot dogs. There were two fire pits on the property. If there's not firewood already on property you can buy some at the Sandbar Tavern. Our host Andrea was super friendly and answered all our questions quickly through the app.

If you’re looking magical spot next to the river, this is it! Super cute, affordable, rustic cabins with a communal kitchen and fire pit that make camping an easy experience- rain or shine! The cabins are perfect for couples or solo folks who want to camp in the woods on the river but don’t want to hassle with putting up and breaking down a tent…or getting rained out. Highly recommend!

2 nights at Sky River Glamp N Camp 🏕️🔥
Had a great stay in the A-frame cabin! The grounds are beautiful and have tons of character. The view of the mountain is spectacular, Andrea and Devon were so kind and helpful and willing to answer any questions I had. The bed was really comfy. There is road noise but it dies down at night and you can hear the river. I slept really well. The communal kitchen had several options for cooking. I used my own silverware and oil but they seemed to have everything else. The firepit overlooking the river was my favorite part. And I loved visiting their one-of-a-kind tavern down the road The Mt Index Sandbar Tavern. Just a great getaway!

Beautiful riverside glamping, with warm hosts and a great location. I intend to bring family and friends back to enjoy the river fun, outdoor kitchen, fire table, and multiple grills for a cozy weekend. Weekend Trip to Index Riverside Camp
The Little Red Cabin was exactly the kind of getaway we were hoping for. Yes rustic, but honestly, that’s part of what makes it so special. Sitting around the fire pit, hearing the river nearby, cooking outside, and unplugging for a couple days felt like a real reset.
The setting is beautiful. Index already feels tucked away in the mountains, but this cabin sits right near the river where you can stand on the bank and look directly down at the water rushing by. The smooth river rocks, dense forest, mountain views, and nearby trails make it feel peaceful and far removed from everyday life.
Everything was thoughtfully set up. Plenty of firewood, a nice patio and picnic area, grill, coffee for the coffee maker, pots, pans, silverware, and other basics that made the stay easy and comfortable while still keeping the cabin’s rustic charm. Nice bed too!
One of my favorite parts was watching my girls explore — running down to the river, climbing around the rocks, walking the forest trails, and sitting around the fire at night under the lights. It felt safe, simple, and very connected to nature.
Sure, there are fancier places to stay. But for the experience, atmosphere, and setting, this place was a real treat. By the way, their campsite looked really nice as well — same great location. Wonderful host to communicate with – – you can’t go wrong.

Weekend Trip to Redstead Riverfront
Beautiful tiny home made with love and great craftsmanship. I was surprised to find it equipo with a stove and small fridge. The home felt cozy but not too tiny. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the river go by.
Peaceful solitude along the river.
We enjoyed the visits from two friendly cats and a beautiful friendly pet dog. We were able to climb the ladder to the comfortable loft bed that has an amazing view of the river. Might not be easy for older folks or someone with an injury but we did just fine. The host and his family were welcoming but also gave us privacy. It was the perfect place for us to stay while we visited Twisp.

Perfect Off grid glamping with a wonderful host that works really hard keeping her plots beautiful and upkept. She does her best to make sure you have all the commodities while being able to be off grid and enjoy her peace of nature.
I would definitely come back and try a different lot or pitch tint.

This spot was amazing! The wild flowers were in bloom & the access to the field was perfect for my dogs to get their energy out while not endangering them. There is a creek that runs the back side of the property that was really cool. Don't let the size of the trailer intimidate you! Its small, but was perfect for 2 large adults, 1 GSD, and 2 small dogs. The bed was spacious and adequately long enough for my 6'2 partner to stretch out. Candida met us when we got there and gave us a super quick run down, and even provided a complimentary bag of ice.

It’s our third time staying here but our first time at Birdy. Loved being greeted by Pluto and Sun. Our 2 year old loved Birdy! She’s been wanting to ride on a bus. The surroundings are lovely and the mattress was comfortable. It is a very basic set up but we were aware of that. Will be happy to return. Thanks so much!

Staying in Birdy was such a great experience! It’s set up so comfortably & it was very private. The dogs were so sweet (with us & our pup). The town is also a perfect setting for a little day adventure. We would certainly stay here again.
