Welcome to The Landing at Index - located on the South Fork Skykomish River, in the western foothills of the Cascade Mountains, off of Highway 2. With 16 acres of beautiful, private woods and breathtaking views of Mt. Index, this is a wonderful getaway to kick back and relax after your day of adventures, or just to escape the city rush. This is a gated property, protected with a code, which you will be sent 24 hours before your arrival. The campsites are at the bottom of a long logging road so an SUV or AWD vehicle are preferable , especially during the wetter seasons. When the property was logged approximately 100 years ago they scooped out gravel from the river to make their roads in the area thus creating the back eddy pool along the beach. A rather peaceful setting, including the rushing sound of the river and the occasional whistle of a train. You will feel refreshed and rejuvenated after you stay at The Landing. Pets are welcome, there are private outhouses at each campsite. These outhouses are protected with a code, which is sent to you 24 hours before your arrival. Weekend Trip to Pipe Lake Cabin

The cabin was larger than I expected! You enter into a large room with the main bed (bedding included), pullout couch, armchair and fireplace. Then there is the kitchen area with a good size dining table. Bathroom is right off the kitchen. No shower but that didn't bother us. Basic amenities for the kitchen is all provided and there are plenty of extra blankets. Just a PSA, your door code will be sent 30 minutes before the check in, we found ourselves worrying as the time got closer and closer!

We had a lovely Fall stay this weekend in our little camper. We loved the sounds of the coyote calls through the night. They were quite talkative but it was fun to hear the wildlife around us! My dog really enjoyed having the freedom and space to run and play. The quaint town of Duvall is super close so we enjoyed a beautiful brunch before packing up for home.

Loved the site, will say be on the lookout though on wild animals as we had an overnight visit from some coyotes so keep that in mind for small animals if off leash. Only con is mainly a 1 way road once in property so when we arrived there was another vehicle trying to leave so caused some issues. Overall beautiful and clean worth the trip over!

I visited Kambri'a to get used to our new RV, and I wanted to do a short trip, which was nearby to our home. This place was amazing, and it turns out, although quite close by, it is ideal to get some peace of mind. Kambria helped me out with cable adapters, which I did not have yet - so even with the new, way bigger RV than the one we had before (this is 34" and it fit the place no problem), I got perfectly hooked up in no time. It's a quiet and beautiful place, absolutely ideal, if you want to recharge and switch off from the busy town stress. I will most certainly go there again, when I need to do some projects in peace and quiet. Although I got Star Link, I never needed it, because up there, T-Mobile coverage was ace - I got as much as 100 MBit down at times, and never less than 50. Perfect, for working and streaming.

The campsite came with chairs, a picnic table and a fire pit. They had wood for sale and buckets for putting out the fire as well. The outhouse was clean and they had a spigot with well water nearby. Fern gully was so cute. I would definitely come back. I did peak at the other sites too and sun-kissed meadow was just so beautiful. Highly recommend.

Sally and Berry were amazing hosts. They have a beautiful property and our spot was nice and secluded. The porta potty was clean and convenient. Josh's hideaway is an awesome spot but my tent was definitely to big. A smaller tent would work better because there isn't a big level area. There are lots of trails. We were going to a concert at Remlinger Farms and there is a trail great for biking or walking to get there. Berry showed us how to find it. I would absolutely stay there again. We appreciated our hosts kindness.
