Rural farm camp in Yakima's west valley. This relaxed campsite is bordered by fruit orchards and farms on a very quiet dead end road. Over two acres of field grass surrounding by rolling hills with views of farms, cows, horses, and the eastern foothills of the Cascade mountains.
There is a 1/2 acre pond on the camp property with frogs, turtles, wild birds and wild ducks and geese drop in all the time. Very quiet and peaceful out here, the frogs will sing you to sleep and that's about the only sound you will hear.

Two large and level RV spots are graveled and can accommodate your 5th wheel, diesel pusher, trailer or toy hauler. The third RV/camp spot is grass but also large and level. Winter access is easy, county road to entrance of Hipcamp is plowed by county road crews and as host I have tractor 🚜 to plow the camp area prior to your arrival.

This small 25-acre ranch is just in the early stages of development. We are repairing fences and watering. I just added solar power and several electrical upgrades for RV's. The property has a 2000 feet of grass runway with an airplane hangar, so you could fly it if you have a STOHL airplane.
The irrigation pond/pond yard area is currently available for camping.
Many wineries, brewies and outdoor activities available in the area. Children can help feed or water the pigs and perhaps the chickens. Be aware though when piglets are around at times they are very small and are amazing escaped artists so do not keep food out unless you want to try and pet one they are friendly. Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry).
We offer multiple listings - the cottage, a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot.
Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk).
Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy.
Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower.
Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk).
Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house.
You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee).
Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis.

We are less than 2 hours from Seattle, 1 hour to Yakima wine country, 40 minutes to Vantage, 40 minutes to Leavenworth, 50 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass, 15 minutes to Ellensburg, 25 minutes to Roslyn, 25 minutes to Yakima River Canyon for floating and hiking, and so much more!

Surrounded by fields of peppermint, Concord grapes, and a variety of crops within walking distance it is a fertile paradise. Wineries are located up and down the Valley and people drive 100s of miles to do wine tours. Welcome to one of the most magical places in Kittitas County. Here you will be the ONLY campers on this 1 acre site! The spot has a crystal clear 80/gpm well and power. There is plenty of room for extra tents (can be rocky) and parking. The driveway can be challenging if you are new to trailering. I suggest walking up the driveway prior to entering. There is a turn around for backing up but it is not a pull though. See photos ;)
Here you will feel a world away but a 15 minute drive down the mountain and you are in downtown Cle Elum. The property is minutes away from the Yakima River, Hwy 10, I-90 and the Teanaway Forest. Fly fishing, rafting, hiking are all nearby.
When the sun goes down get your chair ready. Sunsets are breathtaking and with little light pollution, the star gazing is incredible.
This original 24 acre parcel and surrounding area was destroyed by the Taylor Bridge fire in August of 2012. The fire destroyed 61 homes and 36 square miles. BURN BAN as of 07/07/2026, so please no fires.
Well socialized dogs are ALWAYS welcome to run and play. The owner has a very friendly Aussie who “sneak out” to say hello. If that is a problem please let us know.

Lots of large groups have reserved multiple or all sites for their large groups and for more privacy. However please keep in mind the place still needs to be cleaned up upon leaving.
Private camp area close and easy access to Forest service road 4517 that has ATV, dirt bike and snowmobile trails in amazing Cle Elum's Little Creek and Granite Creek area. Can take ride ORV from campground to Forest road, but no trail riding in campground or surrounding gravel roads. Vehicles must have spark arrestors.
Quiet and private for groups to hang out and enjoy the area, hiking, exploring, and enjoying the night sky. We often kayak at Easton State Park or at Cooper Lake and then come back to this private camp area away from the crowds.
Huge parking and camping area where 10+ vehicles and RVs can easily drive to and park before heading out on the trail or use as a base camp to enjoy the peaceful mountains around you and explore are area around you.
You will enjoy the peaceful hills and unobstructed views of a stary night sky.
No electrical or water hookups. This is not a KOA, it's a very private rough campground area with beautiful views. There are no manicured lawns, but lots of rocky areas and often wildlife walking about. Deer and turkeys often are seen and grasshoppers when its warm. Forest Road to campsite often is bumpy with good sized potholes.

Our site is designed for one party but will accommodate an additional 2 RV’s. This is the perfect spot for family and friends to get together. This property has three 30 amp 120 volt receptacles one for each RV/pay per hookup/per night. The sewage hookup has a standard RV connection. As there are NO bathroom facilities on the property, tents MUST be in conjunction with an RV that has an indoor toilet/shower (no outdoor showering). NO TENT ONLY camping.

Super easy to get in and out of,, any vehicle friendly. Greg was very accommodating, and made sure i had what i needed.

Camp at the lavender farm was quite peaceful. We had a very friendly cat come and join us for coffee every morning. The property was lush with green landscape. The lavender was in bloom and the fragrance was abundant. The rest room was clean and close to where we parked our camper. It was the perfect location to camp outside of the Gorge. I highly recommend Dave’s site.

Amazing views and good water pressure. Very nice to have both water and electrical hookups. The hill to get up to the site was pretty steep but we were able to make it without issue.

We had an amazing experience on Mark's Land. From the cleanliness, to the views, to local options for hiking, food and fun. We are already looking for some dates to book in the near future. My kids favorite part was the short walk to the river with so many options for exploring and fun.

Very peaceful place to spend a few days. We loved the rolling fields that surrounded the farm. It was close to town ~9 minutes to downtown Ellensburg which made it easy to go out to dinner or grab grocery. We really appreciated the 50 amp outlet to run our air conditioners

Directions were a little confusing but with the owners help we got it figured out. Easy back in space with hookups within the cords length. Most level site we've seen, 1/2" off from side to side.

Great place to camp! Nice shaded area with beautiful Coal Creek just steps below. You can hear the sounds of the creek from the campsite. We loved hanging down by the creek with our camp chairs among the rocks. Our two boys (5 and 9) begged to go down morning, afternoon and evening! Loved being among the cabins. Mark even owns the cabin next door. Quiet relaxing area. Also, Mark was great! Hope to come back again.

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were such a sweet, kind, and helpful couple who made us feel very welcome. The RV site was quiet, peaceful, and very private, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring.
We especially enjoyed taking evening walks through the beautiful neighborhood. The surroundings were gorgeous, and the neighbors were so friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful camping experience. We’d love to stay here again!
