Park facilities include campsites, RV pull-thru and back-in sites, walk-in campsites, and two group camping areas. Plus, two fantastic day-use areas with picnic sites, a picnic shelter, and comfort stations located throughout the park.
The natural beauty of the area can be explored on any of our trails. The eastern part of the Olympic Peninsula has loads of great trails around us in the Olympic National Park. Trailheads nearby include Big Creek, Mount Rose, Mount Ellinor, Dry Creek, Copper Creek, Wagonwheel Lake, Staircase Rapids, Big Log Camp, and Flapjack Lakes. Our rental property was once a mini Rail Road with full size locomotive's, train cars, pumper cars and more. My dad & grandpa layed all the tracks & put together the buildings in the 1970's. Once done my grandma sold tickets to the tourist and my grandpa ran the engine around the 7 acre oval track pulling a train car full of happy tourist through the woods over the train bridge and past the big water tower back to their vehicles so they could finish their journies with a drive to Mt. Rainier. There is a lot of history on this property for our family and we hope by sharing it with others they will be able to experience some fun here as well.

"Osborne's Den" (tiny A-Frame Cabin) and "The Moose Site" (a full hook up RV/Camp site) both nestled on this quaint 1/2 acre lot (they rent separately... not together). Just minutes from Mt. Rainier National Park.

We offer some of the most beautiful scenery in western Washington. Here you will find the peaceful quiet of being "away from it all", yet in reality you are only a little over a mile from the local grocery store, restaurants, and gas stations along Hwy 12 in Randle.
We have 20 spacious sites on 70 acres, bordered by the Cowlitz River in Randle, WA. We are centrally located between Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Adams. Since we are not open for public entry, you can feel safe leaving your camp set up while you take day excursions.
We have dry camping ONLY. There is a spigot for water at the gate, but no water or electricity hookups at any of the sites.
We welcome individual campers as well as groups. Many of our sites will hold 20-30 people, all in one site area. We can also accommodate much larger groups.... Let us know if you have a special group event. We can discuss your needs and see if our property is a fit for you. Campsites are located on a secluded hilltop just a half mile from the waterfront, surrounded by old growth trees, wildflowers, and the serene soundscape of the rushing creek straight from the the Olympic Mountains. Come rest and reconnect with yourself, your crew, and the elements.
- Perfectly located for access to SCUBA diving sites and YSS Dive in Hoodsport. - Short drive away from local eatery favorites: Hama Hama Oyster Saloon, The Fjord Oyster Bank and Potlatch Brewery.
- Close access to hiking trails for everyone: Olympic National Park Steps Entrance, Dosewallips, Duckabush State Parks, Upper and Lower Lena Lake trails, Mt. Walker, Rocky Brook Falls.
- Set out on the Lilliwaup State Park Tidelands at low tide to harvest your own clams.
- Eagle Creek at high tide is a perfect launch point for kayaking and paddle boarding (parking on the side of the 101)
This is a winding, chip-sealed, mountain hillside - not ideal for longer length rigs. Most of the hillside is 6% grade, and the last few hundred yards up are at a 10%+ grade.
Sites #1 and #2 are best suited for RVs (max 30' length) and include 50 amp hookups, (bring your own converter if you have a 30amp vehicle) potable water, and full sewer hookups.
Site #3 is our tent camping site as it includes a step-down grassy flat terrace that can accommodate up to 4 tents comfortably, with 2 car max parking. Site 3 includes 30 amp + (2) 20 amp electric and potable water hookups.
All sites have access to the onsite unisex restroom and access to the communal yard game play area.

Incredible location! This sweet cabin is nestled at the base of Mt. Jupiter, directly between Dosewallips beach and the Olympic national Park. There's lots of gorgeous, mossy maples, shaggy cedars, and elk herds roaming free. The Cabin is easily accessible from the road, and has parking available. There's a secluded fire pit behind the cabin with a seasonal stream running by. Its a relaxing place to hang out for a few days, and/or excellent basecamp to explore the amazing forests, mountains, and beaches nearby. Also, there's lots of great foraging to be done (nettles, mushrooms, and oysters; oh my!)
GPS LOCATION: When driving to the cabin, your GPS will tell you that 'your destination is on the left'. This is a lie. The cabin will be on the right. There is a metal gate that is closed with a chain but not locked.
CABIN LAYOUT AND SLEEPING AMENITIES: The Cabin is just a little guy; only 16'x20'. There is a kitchen, living room, and dining room area, and the bathroom is a separate room - we call it our 'studio cabin'. We have a fold out couch for which we provide linens, pillows, and a comforter. There is also an inflatable mattress that is a tight squeeze, but can allow for four people to sleep (with a little furniture rearranging). There is a deck that is large enough for a two person tent that would also make a four person camp-out comfortable.
All linens and towels are stored in the trunk and the bathroom cabinet. There is a 4' round dining room table with four chairs and a small table on the porch with two more chairs. All the cushions for the chairs are in a cabinet under the table inside.
ACCESSIBILITY: Unfortunately, the cabin is not wheelchair accessible. There are 5 stairs up to the deck and the bathroom door is only 27" wide.
SURROUNDING AREA: There are small trails leading away from the cabin; do not walk down them! They lead to neighboring properties and I cannot guarantee that there won't be neighbors who would be very surprised by a stranger showing up on their land! There are lots of public trails only a few minutes drive in either direction from the property :)
STOLEN LAND: This property is on stolen, indigenous land. If you are Coast Salish or Makah, please get in touch with me for a discounted stay.

"Osborne's Den" has basic power inside the building and a water spigot just outside. There is a queen sized bed (you bring your own bedding).
There is a shared Honeybucket Toilet just across the driveway. You will see the other details in the "site listing"
"The Moose" is a level, graveled RV/Camping site. Water and 30 AMP and 20 AMP power and sewer connection.
Each site has it's own picnic table, firepit and chairs... perfect for relaxing. Short 10 minute walk/hike down to the Nisqually River. Restaurants/shops/coffee/stores 1 mile away!

We offer some of the most beautiful scenery in western Washington. Here you will find the peaceful quiet of being "away from it all", yet in reality you are only a little over a mile from the local grocery store, restaurants, and gas stations along Hwy 12 in Randle.
We have 20 spacious sites on 70 acres, bordered by the Cowlitz River in Randle, WA. We are centrally located between Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Adams. Since we are not open for public entry, you can feel safe leaving your camp set up while you take day excursions.
We have dry camping ONLY. There is a spigot for water at the gate, but no water or electricity hookups at any of the sites.
We welcome individual campers as well as groups. Many of our sites will hold 20-30 people, all in one site area. We can also accommodate much larger groups.... Let us know if you have a special group event. We can discuss your needs and see if our property is a fit for you. I own and run Lilliwaup Oyster Farm just down the hill and across the 101 - you'll pass the workshop and processing building on your drive up to the sites.
YES! We offer oysters to purchase, seasonally (September - June) and if you're feeling adventurous, take advantage of farm tour on the beach and harvest your own oysters straight from the farm to eat raw or grill up back at your campsite! *Please note - oyster farm tours require 1 week advance notice - let us know when you book if you're interested.*
Campsites are located on a secluded hilltop just a half mile from the waterfront, surrounded by old growth trees, wildflowers, and the serene soundscape of the rushing creek straight from the the Olympic Mountains. Come rest and reconnect with yourself, your crew, and the elements.
- Perfectly located for access to SCUBA diving sites and YSS Dive in Hoodsport. - Short drive away from local eatery favorites: Hama Hama Oyster Saloon, The Fjord Oyster Bank and Potlatch Brewery.
- Close access to hiking trails for everyone: Olympic National Park Steps Entrance, Dosewallips, Duckabush State Parks, Upper and Lower Lena Lake trails, Mt. Walker, Rocky Brook Falls.
- Set out on the Lilliwaup State Park Tidelands at low tide to harvest your own clams.
- Eagle Creek at high tide is a perfect launch point for kayaking and paddle boarding (parking on the side of the 101)
This is a winding, chip-sealed, mountain hillside - not ideal for longer length rigs. Most of the hillside is 6% grade, and the last few hundred yards up are at a 10%+ grade.
Sites #1 and #2 are best suited for RVs (max 30' length) and include 50 amp hookups, (bring your own converter if you have a 30amp vehicle) potable water, and full sewer hookups.
Site #3 is our tent camping site as it includes a step-down grassy flat terrace that can accommodate up to 4 tents comfortably, with 2 car max parking. Site 3 includes 30 amp + (2) 20 amp electric and potable water hookups.
All sites have access to the onsite unisex restroom and access to the communal yard game play area.

Incredible location! This sweet cabin is nestled at the base of Mt. Jupiter, directly between Dosewallips beach and the Olympic national Park. There's lots of gorgeous, mossy maples, shaggy cedars, and elk herds roaming free. The Cabin is easily accessible from the road, and has parking available. There's a secluded fire pit behind the cabin with a seasonal stream running by. Its a relaxing place to hang out for a few days, and/or excellent basecamp to explore the amazing forests, mountains, and beaches nearby. Also, there's lots of great foraging to be done (nettles, mushrooms, and oysters; oh my!)
GPS LOCATION: When driving to the cabin, your GPS will tell you that 'your destination is on the left'. This is a lie. The cabin will be on the right. There is a metal gate that is closed with a chain but not locked.
CABIN LAYOUT AND SLEEPING AMENITIES: The Cabin is just a little guy; only 16'x20'. There is a kitchen, living room, and dining room area, and the bathroom is a separate room - we call it our 'studio cabin'. We have a fold out couch for which we provide linens, pillows, and a comforter. There is also an inflatable mattress that is a tight squeeze, but can allow for four people to sleep (with a little furniture rearranging). There is a deck that is large enough for a two person tent that would also make a four person camp-out comfortable.
All linens and towels are stored in the trunk and the bathroom cabinet. There is a 4' round dining room table with four chairs and a small table on the porch with two more chairs. All the cushions for the chairs are in a cabinet under the table inside.
ACCESSIBILITY: Unfortunately, the cabin is not wheelchair accessible. There are 5 stairs up to the deck and the bathroom door is only 27" wide.
SURROUNDING AREA: There are small trails leading away from the cabin; do not walk down them! They lead to neighboring properties and I cannot guarantee that there won't be neighbors who would be very surprised by a stranger showing up on their land! There are lots of public trails only a few minutes drive in either direction from the property :)
STOLEN LAND: This property is on stolen, indigenous land. If you are Coast Salish or Makah, please get in touch with me for a discounted stay.

The revamped bus was the coziest rainy day refuge. I was sad the rain kept me from fully exploring and appreciating the fantastical campgrounds. But it was so easy to be completely content at the bus-turned-cabin site because of the privacy and having everything you need for a proper glamp, even in a downpour. All the details are so thoughtful, from the tea kettle to the outdoor compost toilet, the outdoor stringlights to the indoor power outlets (used sparingly on a battery)-- I honestly can't wait to come back and *actually* use the spring water hot tub. Missed opportunity when the universe gave me a surprise puppy to adopt the day of the trip! Gary was incredibly understanding and even invited us to play with his own pups loose on the campgrounds! Koda and I appreciate all the space you made for us, and we will be back very soon!

Brittany's space is a sweet little haven. I have booked this spot a few times for a Winter Solstice celebration and it never disappoints. We love gathering around the big fire pit for hours, sharing in ceremony, music, and reflection, and ending the night with a cozy sleep in the cabin. I happily recommend this spot!

This is such a special place! The Wanderbus was cozy and quirky and perfect. More than warm enough and Louis the Third is an immaculate toilet. I took advantage of the hot tub both nights and it’s such a great perk. Definitely try the tangerine essential oil stay with it! I came to take pictures and get some quiet reading time and it didn’t disappoint. I would recommend it so highly (as long as you don’t book when I want to come back!)

We had a wonderful overnight stay at Jim's Hood Canal Oyster Farm. We originally booked site #2 but Jim contacted us prior to our arrival and invited us to stay at site #1 which became available. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. All three sites are very well kept, peaceful, and private. The hookups worked perfectly, and our 21' class C RV had no issues with the short steep climb to the site. Site #1 is the largest and we loved the herb garden and table. I did notice that site #3 is more private and would have fit our RV with no issues. We hope to be back soon. We can't thank Jim enough for the absolutely delicious oysters from his farm.

The off grid hot tub was unique and well worth the extra fee! The whole campground is a very fun and creative space and you can really tell how much love and care Gary and crew have put into this place. I'll be back for summer camping!

Gary was so attentive and welcoming! Even though I came during a rainy time, the land was beautiful and whimsical. The staff there were all so accommodating and helped with anything I needed (firewood, the hot tub, heaters). The community kitchen was sooo much fun to use and the shower was amazing! It was fun to walk around and see the bunnies and chickens as well as see how hard the staff work to create more fun amenities for the future. Gary mills the wood himself and you can see how all of the structures are such a labor of love!
